I also love legend of the Northern blade it is very popular in my place... I think people are skipping this master piece because it's art style is bad.. But I personally like the art style because when you scroll down very fast the motion lines creates an basic animation.. Which is very cool 👍.. They mc main sword style is so sick.. Truly one of the best manhwa. I think noblesse , omniscient reader ,sweet home should be higher than breaker

Cheese in the Trap is really good! If anyone is looking for a slow-burn psychological drama-romance, this is definitely worth a try! It can be really slow and patience is needed in this webtoon, but the little details and analysis is what makes it soo good

Was hoping to see Mercenary Enrollment and Eleceed on the list. Beautiful portrayal of friendship and family values in both to bind and give meaning to all that action. They're not just about the numbing drive to clear levels and floors. ORV is also special for me because it has a lot of soul behind all that extravagant intergalactic setting. Kin Dokja as the binding force of it all is the most special character ever, for me

The MC doesn't just power up out of the blue, he has a literal god inside of him. The struggle of following his destiny or his humanity is real. The different organizations. Imagine having a character capable of literally breaking the story just sit back and say I plan on leaving this story, like break the 4th wall and leave the actual story

Lookism is also insanely good and imo it should be on this list

Like the first part of the time skip was lame af until uh, I forgot the name of the Irregular that pulled up but honestly I didn't like The Beginning of S2.

"Skeleton Soldier Couldn't Protect the Dungeon" is my second favorite manhwa of all time after Solo Leveling. At first it seems like a pretty typical story of a skeleton with a system, but then the mysteries keep adding up. The world itself does not make sense. The setting seems like a typical medieval fantasy world with magic and monsters, but then you start finding pieces of high technology that are bizarrely out of place and have no explanation. But I've said enough already, just read it!

Thanks to Solo Leveling, i became more obsess with manhwa. Yea there still manga i read but its less than manhwa now. My fav so far: Weak Hero, My Daughter is the final boss, and A transmigrator privilege. Those 3 are the best for me.

An MC with no discernible personality & the sole character trait of saying Batman’s signature catchphrase “Where’s Rachel?!”, with the two side characters comedy crocodile who has one joke & character so bland I’ve literally forgot everything about him, going on boring jaunts through the most generic tower manhwa in existence (at least some others in the genre have cool set pieces, or y’know, good art) whilst nothing of import happens & then you’re hit with “By the way, Rachel bad! Dun dun!” at the end of the season doesn’t exactly scream “good worldbuilding & characters”. We’re given zero reason to care about Rachel as a character at the start & so her “betrayal” means literally nothing, Bam has no character & you can’t get attached to his plight for Rachel which is the only thing about him, because you’re given no reason to care about Rachel & no insight into Bam’s character. It makes the Yuuki Yuna is a Hero mistake, which is not telling you anything about a character & then expecting you to suddenly care about the character after something bad happens to them whilst they heavy-handedly say “But this bad thing is especially bad for this character - look at this next episode for context”. You have to give the context before the bad event, you don’t get to say, “Oh no, this character lost their voice - here’s why you should be sad in the next episode, it’s because they want to be a singer!” (& even worse if they do the second Yuuki Yuna mistake - “Consequences? Screw consequences - everyone is fixed now”), you need to establish a character prior to the setbacks you’re going to subject them too. It’s like the first rule of storytelling - establishing the characters fears, misbeliefs, etc. & then challenging them with those, you can’t do that backwards, there’s no engagement. Don’t take all that to mean though that most other manhwa do better - plenty are just as bad, or worse, for multiple different reasons. “Player” gives you the least likeable MC in existence (& according to the fans, it takes 50 chapters for the MC to develop any redeeming character trait - Christ), “Worthless Regression” starts off with blatant pedophilia (& apparently that’s a running theme for that author - disgusting) & dozens & dozens of action Manhwa do your standard Deus Ex Machina whenever the MC experiences any setback that could feasibly lead to growth. “Oh, what’s that MC? Your sentient sword who you’ve clearly been neglecting has lost power & died, which should make you reflect on how you treat your allies & realign your goals? Nah, next chapter they’re good as new, just need to get an OP new power - no character growth required”. At the end of the day, they’re all for kids & teenagers, so you’re hardly going to get the next great work of fiction out of them - but you can do better than Tower of God, not much better, it’s a pretty “meh” genre (Towers, I think in that genre I’ve seen one solid one - Suicide Hunter & that’s still overhyped) in a medium full of “meh” stories.

I think "The Beginning after the End" also has a place here. But I guess the story is really only just starting and the first 150 chapters were just an introduction.

I love this Manhwa but im still mad at the fact that no one thank my man for saving the FM. Like bro literally turn the the world upside down and all he gets is a tap to the shoulder. At least the FM gave him a reward

Adeline's deep night and Ashtarte are both great story with similar aspects except they both are really sad stories the new chapters are really hyped too as they started revealing the mysteries Another honorable mention is once again into the light i still didn't read the whole manhawa but it feels like it is bound to a really tragic events eventually

Manhwa = basically comics thus Korean webtoons are digital manhwa/custom-made for digital viewing. manhwa as in korean comic can be a webtoon, but it might also be an organic comic.

Seems to me like you have a preference towards a particular genre of manhwa...this does not mean other manhwas like romance or comedy ones are worst. They also deserve to be on this list because they attract a huge audience Not everyone is into weak dude gets system and becomes op Not every good system manhwa/ action/ fighting will make it on top manhwas list....the world of manhwas is much bigger than them
