At 19 yo my doctor told me my ELBOW would soon need to be replaced. I didn’t even know they did that. My elbow always was in pain , inflamed, and the cartilage was just reducing too fast. I couldn’t even lift the remote . And they told me it was genetic . 5 years later the pain is gone. It only slightly clicks with no pain at all. And I’m weight training with 100 lbs on Elbow related movements. Thanks doctor Gregor! You saved my arm

Hello, sir, I am a 22 years old man with arthritis in my right knee. My doctor's have left me no option but replacement. If you've really gotten cured of arthritis with diet and lifestyle changes only, could you please help me as well. I'd really be greatfull if you'd consider helping me out.

Which is better for the doctor's business: Suggesting surgery or a change in diet? The money motivational factor seems to be the root of the problem in medicine.

Absolutely true!..our country is going broke and the “medical”(🙄) system will be bankrupt soon because of a complete disconnect ..and all driven by money. Diabetes and obesity ( both processed food illnesses) have been a gold mine for big pharma…and they are the money behind medical schools and doctor influences. Change your diet to real food and change your life. Ditch the sugar and corn syrup and garbage in bags and boxes…shop the outer ring of the store and do not buy processed ‘food’. Your life will change and your future will no longer be controlled by a medical and pharmaceutical machine.

Osteoarthritis *doesn't* *always* come from a weight problem though. My mom & my stepdad both have osteoarthritis in their knees & neither one of them was *ever* obese, nor anywhere near it. Yet, they've *both* had to have knee replacement surgery, and Mom is going to have to have it *again* this year. Could that be from too much high-impact aerobics when she was younger? She's actually been told she's getting too *thin* - which *that* didn't start until after she went on a *no* *salt* diet at her doctor's orders. Why? She's had a problem, for over 10 years, with a genetic disorder that messes with her inner ears & causes extreme dizziness, and they just figured out a little over a year ago that it was being aggravated by a salt sensitivity - as was her blood pressure. They've had her on this super-low-sodium diet for slightly over a year, and now they're saying she's lost too much weight. How was she supposed to avoid that!? I'd like to know. 😯⁉️🤷🏻‍♀️⁉️😯

It'd probably be worse without your plant based diet. As there's no dietary intervention you can do have you tried physical therapy? Worth going to one if you can but an excellent video on the latest state of evidence based treatment for it is here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hIN90c6MesWxhbA.html

This is my favourite format. Showing the real you (not a cartoon). Not a disembodied voice only. And not on a treadmill (which is annoying to watch). My biggest issue is age-related urinary urge incontinence. But I don’t think diet can help with this, unfortunately.

No. The body has an ability to build cartilage at a slow pace. They have already proven that by aging samples taken off of props. Young cartilage is grown . If it was never grown, it would be the same age. The problem is that the diet removes cartilage faster than that rebuilding process via inflammation

Just because you don't fall within the standard doesn't mean that what is being said is wrong. As a former athlete that has always focused meticulously on diet with a lot of joint issue, I can relate. But let's not start painting with a broad brush. Lots of physio, decreasing activity, and soft tissue work have all decreased my pain quite a bit. Some of it will always be there (I did way too much damage with gymnastics and powerlifting but I knew the risks).
