She's a really good instructor. Clear concise
I must've watched like 10 videos on how to do this properly and while the others talked about the importance of hinging and not squatting, she's the first one here who answered my questions about the arms, head, and shoulders and gave better cues as well imo. I'm going to keep referring back to this video to refine my technique.
The snap grip tip is a game changer for me and was the missing piece I was searching for. Thank you! 🙏🏼

What is the snap grip? I've watched it 3x I'm struggling w the difference. Ty

@@donnatecce1884 She is saying that to explain external shoulder rotation. That allows shoulder to rotate outwards which allows shoulder to move more freely and also it will engage Lats (mid back). External rotation mean rotating shoulders so elbows are pointing down. Internal rotation, your elbows will be pointing out. She is saying snap the handle (to make you put thumb/index finger up and pinky down) to make people rotate shoulder externally but sometimes people just twist wrists. Make sure you are rotating/twisting shoulder so your elbow is down and bicep is up.

@@donnatecce1884 Basically, when you are gripping the handle, try to apply pressure with your hands the way you would if you were try to snap a pencil.

Hannah just completely changed my kettlebell swing game Massive improvement
Best tutorial!!! No fat on the info. Clear simple yet exhaustive. Thanks!
THIS LADY IS AN ABSOLUTE EXPERT THE SNAPPING THE HANDLING THING IS GENIUS! VERY DETAILED YET EASY TO UNDERSTAND!
Honestly this was the most helpful tutorial ever… I am returning to the gym and can say I’ve been self conscious of my form and getting things right, can honestly say her tips to set up the position for the exercise helped a lot
10 out of 10. Love the cues. My favorite lat cue that really works for me is "put your lats in your pockets"
Wow! She explained it very well and detailed. Good stuff.
Great vid, I feel like every so often I need to hear KB tips like a refresher so I don’t get relaxed in my form.
Wow I thought I was doing kettle bell swings right this whole time.. after watching your video can’t wait to try these tips! Thank you!
Excited for the kettle bell series
Exactly what I needed! I am beginning the ABA 10k Kettlebell swing challenge and this will help make sure so don’t get hurt!
This young lady has always been dope, better than most men. I'm glad I found this video because all the videos I watched never locked in my form, so you felt the efficiency of it. This video setup with the kettlebell is the truth.
This has been the best explanation for kettle bell swing I’ve seen after 1 ur I finally feel confident in doing this move
I love the direct way she states things. Is it the most polite way to say it? No. But my dumb ass gets it and I appreciate it.
Excellent, clear, concise, and easy to take in.
this cues were badass!!! thanks!
Love it. Thank you.
Out of several tips I’ve watched, this is most elaborate and helpful. Thank you
Awesome! That's great advice! 👍
Getting back into the routine. This was an amazing.
Damn straight it’s the best video on kettlebell swing. She’s awesome.
Awesome! Thanks!
this was really really useful
Excellent! Very succinct! Looking forward to trying this out 😅
good pointers and cues - very nice video guys
Thanks! This is the best tutorial I've seen on kettlebell swings
Awesome tips!
the best kb swing tutorial!
She was "awesome" & "detailed". First time on your channel but I did subscribe. Can't wait to see what else you have.
New to kb swings and you just solved all my issues in one video, ty!
Fantastic lesson
Awesome!!!
Excellent!
Awesome thank you!
Amazing cues, especially for the starting position. I'm making my second attempt at the ten thousand swing challenge and needed specific things she addressed to be cleared up, because it's difficult to know if I'm doing things correctly. I've heard the grip philosophy and engaged top arm position she demonstrated described as T-Rexing [in the pejorative sense]. She did a great job clearing up swing height and not to obsess about it, and also where to places the force generation. I got a lot from this and look forward to applying it in a few moments during my workout. I'll look for her interview also. She's got a cool voice and great explanations.

Great instructions
So informative. Thank You. When I dd this I always felt it in my lower back, which is not good. Will be taking this pointers into consideration 💪🏾
Thank you ☺️
Ohh boy she just changed the game for me. The arm position(the lat engagement), the focus on hip hinge thrust❤
She's awesome, thanks.
Most impressive thing is that she can talk while swinging, I'm hella impressed. Great cues, thanks!

Really good video
I just went through like 10 kettle swing videos not understanding it. Finally did it after watching this one.
great video :)
I'd never heard the advice about trying to snap the handle to get the shoulders and elbows in a more solid position. I just tried it for a couple sets and I love how much tighter the movement feels with that cue; it also feels like it's working some muscles in my hands and forearms that I probably haven't been using enough. Great video.
She sounds like kettlebell guru ,,,, great video ,I'm just a beginner for kettlebell swings and thank you
Outstanding
Good stuff.
She had really really good technique and she's a good instructor for sure
Merci 👍Thanks you
Perfect! Now I know why my lower back is sore after kb day.
great watch
My 11yo son has been going to crossfit 3 days a week since May to prepare for tournament baseball. He loves it and he's gotten stronger. I'll be sure to show him this. Thanks for sharing!
Would give this 2 likes if I could. Very helpful cues, thanks Hannah!
Oh, thank you thank you. There are a lot of exercise videos out there that incorporate kettlebells - with NO explanations how to handle them. Lots of flopping the KB around. That "snapping the handle" tip is gold.
At the beginning he said she was an expert with CrossFit, and I thought, "Here comes the overhead swing. (frown)." Hot dog! She did everything right! The words were correct. The moves were correct. He asked great questions and she gave great answers. My one criticism: It seemed to me that both of them could use a heavier bell - his, much heavier.
Nice workout channel
🔥
i am just starting to kettle swing, I am active and go to the gym; what weight limit should I start with, and how do I know if it's too light or too heavy for Me?
Bro the "clench your ass" tip fixed my timing problem in a snap

What’s the weight for this exercise ??
Your form and demonstration , along with your explanation on where ,why, how and what muscles to engage and set in order to perform a perfect KB swing is hands down the best I have ever seen!! 👏👏👏 Thank you for this 7 minutes of an awesome perfect performance. Now ya'll ,PLEASE watch this video and please reach out to this youtuber 👇👇 How To Do Kettlebell Swing With Dumbbell Jim Stoppani, PhD. 128K views . I hope he has not injured himself while KB swinging with that floppy disengaged willy nilly "form" he is demonstrating and teaching his viewers his "HOW TO" perform the KB swing his way.....🫢🫣🫣🤦♀️ I am pretty sure he has not ever seen or done a proper KB swing.... please help this dude by trying to educate him properly, so he has the knowledge he should if he is going to try and teach what he knows to others.
The 2 handed swing for guys with broad shoulders is pretty hard. I prefer to swing 1 handed and change hands mid air every 10 to 20 reps. I found the best way to learn how to properly kettle bell swing is to thread a towel through the handle and use that to swing. This will force you to use your hips, not your arms, shoulders or back to swing the kettlebell. I also found the correct cadence to be 40 reps per minute.

What if I’m short ? I’ve been trying and my arms jus not reaching
That helped alot It turns out i was doing these with straight arms.
I don't quite understand what she meant at 5:32 to engage what? What is right and wrong?
what muscles are we hitting here? back and hammies?

I am still trying, I do not get the feeling
She told us….
I just found out that I have really short arms and I can't get the kettlebell not hitting me in my cross 😂
What about breath?
That timing gets hard once I get to around 120 reps. Sometimes I find myself trying to consciously control the bell since I'm tired and it's not reaching the point it usually does.
Is she RKB certified or not?
I going to kill my kettle swing this morning awesome video thanks!
Snap the handle - means you act as though you are trying to snap the handle in half... I kept hearing snap the handle and it made no sense... the lingo is new to me so I need super simple language and total explanation. Thanks dudes.
Her vernacular is engaging in her lesson.
Like a pendulum
Swap out to rugby shorts my guy
When you really get into Swings you wont need to worry about timing. The bell will move you around it naturally.
26 Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.” 28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” 30 Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ ” 32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.” 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will [f]by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:26-40
Keeping the arms and Lats engaged and in is such a missed point in so many videos 👀👀👀
"Hump the air, and squeeze your ass". That's going to be so much easier to remember.
