I had to take a minute to compliment the makers of this video on a superb job. At 64 years old and having been working out for sometime now, I decided to try kettlebells. I hurt myself twice before running into this video, which I many times (repeatedly during actual song sessions). This allowed me to get the technique right, and I haven't looked back. I (re)started with just 20 pounds, but I am now up to 40 pounds, I'm not getting injured and am actually getting stronger in my back and legs. Thanks so much for what you've done. 🏋🏾♀️
As a kettle bell certified personal trainer, this is one of the best videos for performing and teaching the swing. Good cues and good points on the differences from the bad swings as well.

@gjaddajg I honestly have no reason to see why they'd lie for the sake of a KZread comment like this, and I think it's very likely that there's a certification system for personal trainers. I just really don't see a problem with it

Excellent coaching. Thank you
This was the best description I've seen so far! Thank you
One of the best KB swing videos on KZread but without the usual padding. Keep up the great work.
Well done. I sincerely appreciate the great coaching on form. Best I have seen.
This is by far the best explanation of the techniques of how to perform kettlebell swings that I've found. I was experiencing foot pain because of the techniques that I was using. Thank you so very much!
Excellent! I felt my body response and knew my form was wrong. Thank you for this video!
Awesome instruction on the swing. Anna gave the best explanation of the KB swing I’ve found. Thank you !
Great explanation / demonstration. I am an older athlete and I am always on the lookout for exercises to strengthen my glutes and legs. Thanks
I've been struggling to learn kettle bell swings for a while. It's super helpful that you broke it down into steps.
I've just watched several of your How To videos, and they are all excellent. Great, clear explanations and simple tips on how to progress/improve form. Thank you :)

+Stephanie Howard There are better ways though.. doing the kettle bell swing like this is more of a hip thruster w/ a barbell on a bench is far better. I saw a video of someone who specializes in just training kettlebell from Europe on youtube. He explains how to kettle bell properly. All variations.
This is so perfectly taught and executed. Great cues as well - I love the two pieces of paper in the armpits visual. Thank you so much!
Excellent explanation and demonstration of the KB swing
Excellent breakdown. Thank you. That is very helpful.
It finally makes sense! Thx.
Your breakdown pattern and your cues are just amazing you deserve a lil more
Very clear instruction and demonstration. Thanks.
super comprehensive tutorial!!! Great job!
I love your quads Anna
Hey Mike, this is a great instructional video, I was looking for something to show me the process to get to a perfect swing.
THANK YOU 🙏 SO MUCH I’ve been doing them wrong . And feeling back pain and knees problems
This is a great video; so helpful. Thank you! I've been working hard to resolve some persistent lower back pain and kettle bell swings have really helped!
Much better than the other instructional videos - thank you!
Thank you very much. Simple, straightforward and easy to understand.
Excellent training video ❤
Awesome explanation, both the form and mental aspects!
This is really helpful, thanks Mike.
Thanks a lot! That’s the best explanation and steps to get to the swing 🙌
Very cool instructions for the swing
Underrated video. Much better than a video about kettleswing taught by 3 beefy guys with poor demonstration in another channel.
Echar a great and detailed presentation. Really liked the progression.
Perfect coaching, i like the coaching point to keep arms fixed and avoid just front raising the weight!
I really like the video. It is very instructive and compares most favorably with others I have seen on the topic.
This is amazing!! Thank you!!
Video was a big help! Thanks!
Finaly a perfect tutorial thank you 😄
Great tutorial, thanks.
This was super useful, I feel I have been suffering from poor technique! Great video I am definitely going back to the drawing board on this one!
Top notch instructions
Awesome exercise!
great instructional video
I think most instructors use a KB that's too light for them. Consequently, their swings look like they are driven by arm strength rather than by the forward thrust of the hips. This lady does it perfectly. I'm proud of her!!!
Thanks so much for sharing
Great teacher 👩🏫
Nice instruction, Anna!
Perfect movement. Regards from Brazil.
Thankyou! I have been swinging these things in the gym and feel like they weren't doing anything. I will make sure I have better form.
Very good explanation.
Preciate this video. Thank you.
Wow this was so thorough
I’ve been doing KBs for about 4 months and I wish I had seen this video 1st
Awesome tutorial!
yes yes good instructional
Super tips! Thanks a lot!
Great cues here. Nice to hear the common mistakes made trying these exercises. Thank you
thank you ! good coach .
Really helpful. Thanks!
Great technique = a joy to behold
Omg this was the best , thank you so much ❤️ 🙏🏾
Great video!
Great video.
good tips/instructions! just started using kettle bells and I've been using it wrong!
Best tutorial ever! Shot Ana! 😎💪💖
Thank you
Great video, thanks for the tips =-)
this the perfect swing. I've taught for years. relax your elbows. the only purpose of the hands is to hold on to the KB. The hips and legs are doing all the work. snap your hip and lock your knees to make the KB weightless at the top.

@@andthereisntone3454 light banded tke’s ( just search that on KZread) can get your knees accustomed to it. And just don’t lock them out as hard when you swing for now
No one is going to mention that over pronation on the R foot? Just messin...truly great instruction for a move that so many get wrong. Well done!
.great stuff
Awesomeeeeee!!!! 💪🔝
Excellent progression with the dowel and keeping the bell against your abdomen! As a third step I would progress to a dead-stop swing and back down. Fourth step would be multiple reps as you have done in your third step.
The kb swing is amazing for back pain and balance.
That was good ty for That
Holy subtalar eversion batman. Great video!
I see a "squat-swing" often at the gym but I always teach - your hips have to work! Thanks for this video :)
Thank you. Easy to follow “swing” tips and techniques. The key for me was watching the young lady snap her knees back while doing the “swing”.
young and very professional i wasn't expecting that i'm going to learn useful information from you but you took me by surprise your form your movement just very great i give 10/10 you are a great person
Does Ana play rugby?! Her core and legs are goals. Thanks for helping me with my KB swing. Will use the "paper between the armpits" imagery tip
Thanks for the detailed mechanics/form and trouble shooting on the hip hinge movements and proper foot placement. I will still try to attend a class with instructors just to make sure but I think I finally got the proper concept of the form now.
great vid. nice instruction. She has a perfect form, I have been hurting my back trying to exact that form. the addition of the pole for instruction was helpful. Thank you
Great video, great teacher. And she is so nice and cute.
Good one!! mike do you have your own youtube channel?
We need this because this is so important We decided to do this I hope you have a wonderful day I hope you can learn her kitty bell swinging

What cues can i use to remember to keep a neutral spine and to hinge at the hips?
My confusion and sore point (literally) is whether to lock my knees. Please advise. Thank you!
Mike reminds me of Red Foreman, except he isn't yelling or calling anyone "dumbass."
Is the snap/sharp straightening of the knee ok cause it looks a little worrying, but I could be completely wrong. If you say it's ok I will try it to copy what your doing. Thank you
if you watch when she swings the bell, notice by referencing her butt position against the wall in the background she doesn't actually push her butt backwards...this is because she allows her knees to bend too much. less bend more hip hinge.
Would someone typically experience extreme DOMS in the hamstrings after a set of 75? Does this typically go away after conditioning?
Thank you I’ve been doing this wrong
I noticed her ankle. It was tilted innerly compared to her knees pointing outward. I had the same way until my inner side of knee was terrible.
The Choo Choo got me
Its true it burns a tone of callories? How many reps-sets?
I also love her swagger and the way she communicates - she is Hot!
