I had to take a minute to compliment the makers of this video on a superb job. At 64 years old and having been working out for sometime now, I decided to try kettlebells. I hurt myself twice before running into this video, which I many times (repeatedly during actual song sessions). This allowed me to get the technique right, and I haven't looked back. I (re)started with just 20 pounds, but I am now up to 40 pounds, I'm not getting injured and am actually getting stronger in my back and legs. Thanks so much for what you've done. 🏋🏾‍♀️

As a kettle bell certified personal trainer, this is one of the best videos for performing and teaching the swing. Good cues and good points on the differences from the bad swings as well.

+Stephanie Howard There are better ways though.. doing the kettle bell swing like this is more of a hip thruster w/ a barbell on a bench is far better. I saw a video of someone who specializes in just training kettlebell from Europe on youtube. He explains how to kettle bell properly. All variations.

if you watch when she swings the bell, notice by referencing her butt position against the wall in the background she doesn't actually push her butt backwards...this is because she allows her knees to bend too much. less bend more hip hinge.
