As a Scots, I can confirm we have a great many words for being intoxicated and yes steaming is indeed one of them 😂

We did the VIP tour at Universal a few years ago - 1000% worth it!! The tram tour actually allowed us to get off the tram and wander through the War of the Worlds set. The lunch provided is something we still talk about. Next time we go to CA, we will definitely do it again!

The Mario ride has so much re-rideability, with numerous hidden easter eggs.

Let’s sing a throwback honouring another beloved series 🎼 Honey mead, nachos and soup in a toadstool, Race Bowser’s challenge, greet mummies (keep your cool). Engraved wands cast spells and Bruce the shark springs. These are a few of my favourite things! 🎶

This is phenomenal. Love that you guys are willing to travel. There are so few up-to-date videos on USH (I guess since it’s smaller?), so this a breath of fresh air. Not to mention, as a former cast member, this park is close to my heart. FYI the Back to the Future clock tower courthouse square was also part of the fire mentioned in the video.

As a socal resident, this park has become very enjoyable for my son and I. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Disneyland stan thru and thru. But sometimes if you don't want to deal with the crazy, busy Disney Park experience, it just hits the right spot to go to Universal Hollywood.

hahaha... when you were talking about Sirius's motorbike, it activated my iPhone and it started giving me the nearest locations for motorcycle shops! Which now I know is a Yamaha dealership :D

We haven't been since 2010, but on the mummy ride, when the things tickle the back of your legs, people started screaming and my wife asked me why because she has spina bifida and can't feel most of her legs. She got a kick out of that part when we rode more times.

My kids LOVED Flight of the Hippogriff on our visit last month! It taught my daughter to love thrills. I couldn’t get her off of it. So happy she’s finally past the trauma that was Flight of Passage at a timid age 6 😅

I think “Oswald” on the “no checks from these people” sign is actually Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, just as a reference to how he was owned by Universal for so long and is now back to Disney. I could totally be wrong - but his name is a diff font from Dr. Pretorius.

I’ll be going to universal Hollywood in the beginning of July along with the WB tour and Disneyland!

Been years since I visited park in 1990s. But as Harry potter fan and living on west coast, your coverage makes me want to visit again.

Another fun fact. The fire station you see in the backlot tour also pays homage to an old Universal TV show. The fire station is “Station 51” which pays homage to the 1972 hit TV show “EMERGENCY!”. The show follows the LA County Firefighters and Paramedics of Engine and Squad 51 which are housed at the Universal Fire Station.

Two things to note about the backlot tour, from a family with a 4yo who did it in September. 1. The tram is bumpy! My husband had a duff beer in a cup and it almost spilled everywhere! (Fortunately, he had a napkin to cover it.) 2. The Kong & F/F experiences are LOUD! (And kind of scary for a little one.) Be sure to have earplugs/headphones. We didn’t fully realize what this experience was, and it was clearly not for us as a family. There were other kids on the ride, including another toddler, who didn’t get upset from the experience the way my child did, but just keep that in mind. It was cool, but we wished we had skipped it for more time in SNW.

Molly, sure hope you are planning to visit the MinaLima Pop-up Shop at Universal Orlando this Spring. Miraphora and Eduardo are going to be doing a Meet and Greet on March 23rd -- would be fun if you'd go and take us all along!!

Highly suggest reading Jerry Green's book about being tram tour operator and show manager at USH from 1970s to 1990. Also watch Laemlle biography - occasionally shown on TCM channel. One fun fact: he left the center of film making in New Jersey to come to Hollywood. Why? Partly due to goons hired by Tom Edison to shoot at cameras being used without paying Edison in early 1910s.

That may be the actual car used in "The Mummy", but it is NOT a '31 Duesenberg, it's a completely homemade car, not any particlar manufacturer, that they must've built for the film just to make a generic-looking old car. Just saw it last weekend, it's kinda' a hot mess.

Molly ❤ I too get intense motion sickness. When my family and I cruise it’s bad, sometimes when even driving with a crazy driver I get motion sickness. So My aunt recommended MOTIONEAZE - A tiny bottle that can easily fit in your pocket. You just put a drop behind your ear and you’re set to go. I put it on before riding Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, before I go on airplanes, every morning on a cruise. It’s a game changer. Hopefully this works for you ❤
