2011 was really THAT year for k-pop! Every group/artist was either really on the rise or was already peaking! Remember summer promotions? Bops after bops after bops! It was literally impossible for you to just stan 1 group hahaha! Great memories!

I think it’s only because back then there wasn’t as much international content so there wasn’t enough content for you to ‘stan’ a single group. The reality is that fanwars and stan culture has actually been on the decline. Just look at HOT generation of the 90s and you will see the fistfights that occurred between different stans.

I'm still updated to most of the kpop now, but this era is the best so far.

Those of you that voted for Teen Top, MBLAQ, and B1A4, I see you and hear you. Clear taste connoisseurs. A lot of the other groups/artists were already established and popular to some degree, so it's nice to see some love for the rookie groups.

2011 was iconic year in K-Pop... Everyone probably know all the songs in the video... I miss the old K-Pop when not everything about competition and chart.

This is by far my favorite year in K-POP. Step, be mine, shampoo, twinkle twinkle, hug me once, I don't know, Mr taxi, figaro, hot summer, To me.... I can listen to these all day long.

2013 for me.

Man, what an absolute HYPE year for K-pop. So many summer bops, Hyuna's Bubble Pop, T-ara's Roly Poly, f(x)'s Hot Summer. Then I remember following the S-TIER of a line up that was Davichi's Don't Say Goodbye, IU's You&I, T-ara's Cry Cry, BEG's Sixth Sense, Orange Caramel's Shanghai Romance, and SNSD's The Boys (ALL PROMOTING AT THE SAME TIME MIND YOU). Plus, I recall SNSD's The Boys playing on the jumbotron in a local mall in America, just to top it all off. 2011 HEIGHT of K-pop's golden era? Definitely a contender.

When every song was funny and danceable, every MV was like a movie, every idol was beautiful in her/his way

it all started for me with Wonder Girls and their "Nobody" and got hook with KPOP. It was like 2008. 2008-2012 was really a golden era of KPOP specially 2011. T-ARA and SUJU. Probably because they're associated with my childhood. Those time, regardless your a man or not even if you're in Philippines there's no discrimination cause we all vibin and dancing without knowing what exactly the lyrics are saying. It was great, really great.

They should make a concert/show with only 2nd Gen GGs... That would be amazing... I would watch it for sure... One of my ult favorites is Kara and i am so happy they are back again... ❤❤

When T-ara is the IT Girl Group that year Roly Poly (most downloaded song of 2011), Cry Cry and We were in love… gosh I miss those days 😭

(wish they can comeback) 2011 BABY forever GOT7 is my ultimate favorite now since 2015 now only fan of GOT7, SF9, ASTRO, INFINITE, Girls Generation, SHInee, 2NE1, Girls Day, DAY6, B.A.P others i listen casually.

KARA will always be number #1 in my heart they didn't have that many songs in 2011 in Korea because they're busy in Japan

Got into K-pop in 2006, was in an interesting period where KARA & SNSD had not debuted, but 2011 wad the best year. Most of my current Playlist is comprised of 2011 -12 songs. 2NE1 for sure.

I remember joining kpop back in 2010, but 2011 and 2012 were my strongest years as fan. I really miss the Golden Era.

The quality of BIGBANG and 2NE1 songs and MV was the reason why I became a kpop fan. Their songs and MV are different from the typical kpop group that time. I can say 2011 was the best year for YG despite some scandal from BIGBANG, they withstand and comeback stronger in 2012.
