THE BEST House Power Backup Zendure SuperBase V

I have used several power stations over the years and Zendure's Superbase V is has taken the lead as the best around. This power station has a massive 4600wh battery with a 3600w ac output. This is the first power station of its kind sporting a 240v output that allows you to connect to your home and run loads that require 240v. Plenty of DC outputs allows you to charge your devices.

After using lots of power stations I am impressed with this one. It has rolled around in my new shop for over a month powering all kinds of things.

The elegant built quality and battery capacity is whats stands out of this power station. Its comparable to the ecoflow delta pro but with more capacity.

Well said. After using this for a month I have to say it is impressive. It has been running my tools with no problem. As I type its recharging some portable speakers.

I'm anxious to see you charge this with solar. Also, make a road trip to a EV charge site and try that T2 port on the back.

I am going to "modify" an old cable with xt90 so that I can use mc4 connectors. This power station can charge at 3000w of solar. I have 2kw on the hill.

Nice PowerStation. The lights are well thought out, so that you can see what you are doing with the front panel and plugs. A few thoughts: With the TT-30R receptacle (3 prong hot-common-ground) you are only getting 120vac single phase to run into the transfer switch. Since they advertise it for emergency backup for the houose, I'm surprised it doesn't have an L14-20R receptacle (4 prong hot1-common-hot2-ground) so that you can use the full 240vac and get both hot sides to feed the transfer switch. That 240vac NEMA 6-20 plug (3 prong hot1-hot2-ground) doesn't provide a common so you can't balance the load across the two legs of the 240vac inverter.

The company is sending a Y cable. The tt30 on the front is only 120v. But the inverter supplies 240v across half of the receptacles. By using the special cable the unit can supply 240v. I will have to make another video once that cable arrives.

@@LandtoHouse Yes please make that video. I predict the reason the upper left NEMA 5-20R receptacle is sideways is related to that y cable feeding 240vac.

@jllaine I will make the update once the cable is sent. I will also have a large heater that needs 240v so I can test that the zendure can supply 240v at 3000w.

Difference between power meter and power on Zendure maybe comes because lighting and fans on Zendure are also consuming power.

Yes very true. Running the AC inverter also uses some power. There is a good chance that 100w is the difference.

This sounds like it might be worth it just for the inverter

The 3600w inverter is powerful for sure! Coupled with an oversized battery of 4600wh it can run for such a long time.

Has a very eco flow delta pro like design. Also you didn’t show the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth functionality. I assume that just like most of this system it would be very similar to the Ecoflow app.

This is a nice machine. I have a few other features that need testing. When I get wifi installed into the shop I plan on testing out the app. And Zendure is sending a Y cable to test 240v.

There are two versions of this power station. One has a SSB and this one has a lifepo4 battery.

Isn’t the problem with these products the support? I’ve read bad reviews on support. If something goes wrong, they only have email support and no actual office to handle RMAs etc.
