With the monkeys, I think it's more of a glitch that locked a lot of them in one area... Also, that zoo was one with zero mods if I remember right, it was one focusing on the wetlands pack...

WOW! What a tour! I'm so happy you were able to see everything! You did a marvellous job at showcasing everything that made me fall in love with this zoo. I've attached first and foremost the blueprints I've used that I was able to notice: Wall by Haribo Plushies by Keyboard Keeper Climbing Frame inside of the main Proboscis Monkey Habitat by G_Luck Birds by Drac Shades by Lider Dead Trees by Cesar Creates Now! Onto my notes throughout the video. Babirusas aren't able to traverse on rocky terrain, so the gravel keeps them away from it. That's something I kept in mind when making that habitat to give a clear look into the habitat without any big fences obstructing the views for the guests. Proboscis Monkey line is based off of the National Zoo's O-Line. I know a lot of zoos especially in Europe have these for Orangutans, but my literal favorites are Proboscis Monkeys, so they've officially been given their P-Line! (Name Pending...) I think the Proboscis Monkeys would have been able to traverse with PZ+ back to the original habitat? Maybe not, but they would be able to swim in that first habitat. They're one of the most aquatic monkeys in the world with special hands designed specifically to swim a lot better. The Gravel Pieces are from PZ+, they unlock scenery items that are in the game but are unable to be bought through vanilla means, but I have a blueprint of it on the workshop! As you can tell since they're local files they don't break games. I didn't want to use them at first, but it was the only way to fill out the gaps. If you ever want to try mods out though, let me know! I would love to help you whenever you want to give them a try, but I absolutely love the vanilla experience too and can completely understand that

Uhm OKKKKKK?! Hahaha! Iben is also always trying to convince me as well to start using mods that cant break my game, lol.. but I am just so scared it will honestly, hahaha! Silly me!!

this THIS is how you make an australian zoo!! i understand the love for the whole red desert australian zoo thing but honestly we tend not to have zoos way out there because it's not healthy for the animals. i think the closest we have is a kangaroo sanctuary out at alice springs? anyways this is the first australian-themed zoo i've seen that actually feels like a realistic australian zoo. 90% of the australian population lives on the coast in more temperate/sub-tropical climates, so all our zoos look much more like this one. it's very refreshing to see! in terms of the croc show, i know the irwins out at australia zoo (queensland) still do croc shows in a very similar (but smaller) stadium. very clear inspiration taken from there ^^ and super well executed too

This is such a beautiful zoo. Leaf made Gravel pieces and if you go to the Workshop and tipe in Gravel Pieces you can use them like he did or for Zen gardens or something.

I really like how Leaf did his research on Japanese culture

I discovered and downloaded Planet Zoo yesterday. Yet, I feel like I’ve learnt so much already from just watching your videos! Watching you has definitely sparked my interest in detailed zoo builds, and the whole magic of just building something yourself from simple pre-existing objects. The box in the Japanese macaque habitat is a piece on the base game! It doesn't have any special function, I don't think the macaques can go inside it either. And even if you can only manage it for hours at a time, you should totally use freebuild! It takes the planet zoo gameplay to a whole new level, and you can you can keep changes you made with freebuild even if you delete the mod

Depends on what you are talking about exactly 😄 Did an upgrade 3 weeks ago instead of only fixing.. which did cost way too much money than I wanted to spend 🤣 The CPU fan breaking last week was fixed with no cost.. only time cost.. lol! And yesterday was a quick fix of the CPU fan (again) 😄 and did cost me a little bit as the guys that build my PC 3 weeks ago are on a holiday now and closed the whole store 🤦‍♀️ So for last repairment I had to find a different store 😖

His crocodile show was inspired by the Australia Zoo’s crocoseum

Couple of ideas for u. Depends if ur building in franchise or sandbox, ideally start with small lower appeal animals near the front, and high appeal at the back to prevent congestion. Use big paths like 8m for travelling from entrance to the larger animals. Most zoos irl are built over many years with diff architects with sponsored areas like gardens or statues. So actually not having too much of a plan will help u make a more realistic zoo. Franchise is a bit ott on food drinks and toilet so u will have to have them EVERYWHERE lol so can kind of ruin a bit loaf the realism heh

I think the golden crocodile with the horns at the entrance is alligator Loki from the Marvel show Loki

It really just depends what your favorite animals are 😊 everyone had their own preferences and opinion 😊 I wasnt much of a fan of the south east asia one, but wetlands has some really cute animals that I really like! But yeah.. maybe you love asian animals more ? 😅 So just fallow your heart Id say 😘

You just add a null barrier underneath all the path ways and around the towers 😊 Id suggest to download the zoo and check out what and how he did it 😄

Im not saying I will use it.. but at the end of the day thats obviously my decision and I like to play a game the way I want it to play 😊 and people are free to use a mod as well.. like its not like others have no option to use a mod? Dont really see the issue here honestly IF I would decide to download and use that mod 😊
