Okay but the Beacon of Ages Portal is so fucking cool. Playing for 10 years and I hate to admit it, but you got me with the majority of these.

i am not sure, but i think this area was added in latest patch
I just stumbled upon this dialogue in a tavern in Queensdale: 'Why do you think the centaurs are attacking us?' 'It's the apples.' 'Come on, seriously; how long has this war been going for?' "I am serious. It's the apples. They are worth fighting for.'
Nearly 3k hours and I knew basically none of these - I'm impressed

same here, same here!
Another one you might not know: in the mistlock there is a npc right of the bar using a hair style not available to players. Talking to her, she thinks you are just a part of the mists. You can bet with her that you will remember her. Leaving the mistlock and re-entering, talk to her again. Your character will tell her "see, told you so"... And she has no clue what you are talking about, since shes just a part of the mists herself. Another fun dialog is in the human home instance first door on the left. Really confused npc on why you are breaking into peoples homes looking for treasure.

Great finds! The really small details lr random hidden dialogues in this game are what make me love it more
8.5k hours, 42k AP, and I didn't know a lot of these. Very cool!

Funfact ; if u type "I am Evon Gnashblade" in the searchbar of the Trading Post (Default O) the interface will change so u can see more items at once for example.
An easter egg: Simba, Pumba and Timon in crystal oasis! Hakuna matata!
For sure getting the bandana, even if it's just to not get it later when using guaranteed wardrobe unlocks. Also, there's a chest similar to the Quaggan one that you can access by playing the organ in Ebonhawke
@Laranity

Yeee I originally planned to include the Ebonhawke one too, but it’s bugged and kind of annoying to play now :(

Thankfully all skins and items that are "hidden until unlocked" are not included in the wardrobe unlocker.

I just dove back into GW2 and your vids have absolutely been stellar to watch to re-introduce me back into the game after not playing for a few years! This video in particular is super fascinating to me cuz I LOVE when MMO's hide stuff in their games, especially unused content! Keep it up!
I have been playing this game for almost 10 years and I only knew ONE secret of these ones. Good job!
I've been playing for 8 years now and I only knew 2 of these! I'd love for you to make a part 2 on this!!
You can fed catmander cat in Quaggan Cave with can of spicy meat chili to add yellow catmander to your home instance (but first you need to unlock blue catmander as well).
@attila0323
29 күн бұрын
I think the order doesn't matter, you just have to feed (unlock) both to get them in your home instance.

@@attila0323 yeah, that what I meant.
The Abaddon statue was one of the most hilarious things to have happened to me, as someone not having played GW1.
I've spent hours at the organ playing different themes. From time to time some random folks dived by, hung around for a bit or played the organ too. Definitely one of my calmest and most wholesome gw2 moments I've had over the years.
I'm surprised you didn't have the secret order base in grothmar as one of your favourites! I love the way you get to it with the tree puzzle.
@Laranity

TRUE that would have been such a good one too!

Yeah, but that one you need for map completion since there is a PoI there, so not much of a secret
@usvafren9993
28 күн бұрын
Everyone completing the map googles it, so it's quite well known, but it is a cool one!
that you can enter secrets of the obscure map via portal in ascalon ... blew my mind, holy fuck :D how cool is that ?!
I came across the Lion's Arch dance party by complete accident when I was new about two years ago. I don't remember what I was initially doing in that part of Lion's Arch (maybe some kind of achievement or living world story), but when I came across those dancing NPCs, I remember just standing for a bit really confused; then danced too for a bit before leaving.
Another one that might have not survived: the sewer system in old lion's arch. They were great meeting spots for guildies
My favorite secret is the Chamber of the Guilty in the Bastion of the Penitent, where echos of Saul D'Alessio's haunting past can be heard, which repeat without end. They also mock him for not investing in bitcoin.

Was this the one at the very bottom? The cave that is very dark?
Knew around half of these (most Whispers Bases, all of the unused areas, the organ, one of the secret NPCs, dancing with Abbadon). Really cool to find out that even someone with as many hours as I have still found so many new things in this video!
Always love your secrets videos, whether they're about secret features or in-world secrets like this one! Really fun video, and I actually didn't know about the Abaddon secret!
I consider myself quite the explorer in video games, but you hyped me up with a lot of these unknown places. Good finds, Lara! :D
Here I am, thinking that, since I play this game since Beta, and since I have read and watched quite a few "Secrets in GW2" articles and videos, that I wouldn't find anything new in here. Oh how wrong I was. Already the first secret I did not know about. And 2 of the others as well. You never cease to amaze, Laranity

to be fair, #1 on the list is quite new. who of us SOTO players hangs around Ashford much anymore?
I love the "unused" spaces. Reminds me of getting into Hyjal back in 2006. Its like "we're not supposed to be here... and we're the ONLY ones here" and the mystery of it all. Gonna go check these out, thank you for this. Gives me some cool stuff to show friends if they ever pick the game up xD
I can't imagine the feeling of discovering these easter eggs naturally. Imagining being into music and just tinkering on that organ, trying to play what the GW theme, and skadoosh! The clam cracks open and reveals a chest. In GW 1, imagine just being an avid dancer, breaking out the /dance in every engagement, and suddenly one of the final bosses starts dancing with you. Thanks to the developers for making the GW universe so incredibly magical.
It's so cool finding one of those while exploring! I've been to all of them before, but your video brought back some great memories!
definitely some ones I didn't know! Well done Lara! another awesome vid too, time to do some exploring :)
I only knew about the last one! Wow! 🎉 Nice job, Lara!
So many of these that i actually didnt know! Ty, great video, Lara
Oh wow, I didn't know a bunch of these! Only thing that comes to mind right now is the half-finished JP in Caledon. Oh and speaking of pipe organs, the one in Ebonhawke!
There is an unused area underneath caledon forest with a poisonus room iirc. You can also get above the energy circle of spekk's laboratory (jp) if you use a springer from outside the map!
I knew only about the organ, the rest, totally took me by surprise. Thank you! nice list :)
Lovely Meteion glamour for your character! I only knew about the sweet bean Charr with her strawberry garden. But all the rest of these secrets I might have to go check out!
Nice to know about the Beacon of Ages Portal...and I just spent about 40 minutes wandering around under the Isle of Istan. Lol. I've "fallen" into other areas, but it was obvious one was just seeing the foundations of things. This really looks like it was designed for something.
I knew about half of them, "The Beacon of Ages Portal" mind is a secret achiv so anyone using the API could see/find it. The pipe organ one is the most surprising, i knew you could play it but didn't realize the song/chest... makes me wonder if the one in Ebonhawke assuming I'm remembering correctly also has something. (scrolled down, oh someone mentioned it) I remember in old LA there was a bar you could hear "Bash the Dragon" being played... I have to finish LS1 replay and see if its still there, not all that sure its a secret but /shrug.
I actually already knew about the secret Whispers base in Lornar's Pass and the musical organ in the Caledon Forest(even though I never tried playing the latter), but the rest of the secrets were surprising. Great work compiling these.
I was so soo surprised by most of this zones. It really shows all the love that went into making this game ❤️
I have to admin, I did not expect these interesting tid-bits of hidden places in Tyria. Great video, on my way to explore some of these right now!
Great video! Never knew about those Whisper camps!
I only knew the pipe organ and snrif. This was super cool! And this is the reason why I love this game!!! Thanks
This was tons of fun. I'm going to go exploring!
17k hours, 11 and a half years in GW2, and I still learned more than a couple of secrets today. Good job Lara! \o/ I can't wait to share them with my friends. :)
That pipe organ thing at 6:10 is insaaaane edit: after watching, it gets even insanerer
Amazing, there must be more secrets out there! Please uncover them all :)

There is alot more! Map breaking alone gives you a ton to talk about although the developers have been known to patch out the map breaks in the past and 'ruin the fun' for us map breakers
Well done, I just knew three of them. And congrats on your new title, looks pretty good!! 😊
Good job! I only knew about the organ and the rabbits, everything else is news to me ^^
Been playing since day 1 ; and everytime you give me something new , thank you 😃
Man, you got me with all of these xD Love this video.
THAT WHY the abbadon status killed you! XD i dicovered this by luck while helping a friend with Coalescence. while he was meditating i start dancing for no reason (other than bother is character) and... get one shooted... was pretty funny back them xD
I knew of the organ, didn't know about the chest. Hahaha, knew about that garden but everything else... not so much. You got me with these. Great video, cheers :)
i knew some but not all, my favorite 'hidden' spot has to be the unfinished caledon jp often referred to as 'cerebro' as it has a room very much like the cerebro sphere from x-men
Damn I've been playing since launch and knew like 1.5 of these lol Great vid!
I was ready to say that, but the first one with the core tyria to soto connection was new to me, so well done :D knew the rest :)
During the content break I've been playing Guild Wars myself for the first time (to find out where all the lore started, highly recommend it for any GW2 player !) and never realised that was the same Beacon of Ages from vanilla !
Good job Lara! I've been playing since 2012 and I had no idea about the secret bases of the Secret of Whispers guild. Or maybe I had already visited the one which doesn't require to be a member but it's been so long! Hahaha
Being a brand new player i accidentally stumbled upon that Secret Whisper Base! I thought it was the coolest thing!
I'm genuinely surprised I only knew about half of these. Awesome stuff.
I have the cats in my home, that is the only one I knew. I…I…have this urge to Explore!
didnt know most of these :O Awesome video!
Oh man I knew about the organ, but I had no idea they put an Easter egg there. I also already got the charr bandana lol. The fashion war grind never stops.
The organ was so cool! I have a lot of hours on the game and i only knew 2 or 3. Nice video
Ahhh! I've been waiting for this!!!
I’d like to see a long video of all of the known secret places in GW2, from every secrets video ever made.
My guildies showed me the strawberry patch / secret turkey room way back before fractals. Very informative and nostalgic.
Great video! The only two I actually knew about were the organ and the strawberry patch. I really need to slow down and smell the roses, apparently.
You got me with the beacon portal, not gonna lie ^^
There's a couple of oobs in Caledon Forest and in The Grove that are easy to access like the Istan one. Really cool vid! (I didn't know about the tower entrance easter egg O.O)
I didn't know the SotO and Auric Basin one :o And I did not know of the chest you can get at the organ. The charr bandana is pretty cool and I am not even sure if I knew about it before at some point and simply forgot :'D
I knew the turkey room and the yellow catmander area (because that's the one I got). The rest were new to me, and I have 2000+ hours. I can't believe i didn't find the one in metrica province because I feel like I went over that area with a finetooth comb, and it's not even THAT hidden. That's a pretty good illustration of why this game is awesome. Exploration is actually rewarded and nobody knows everything.
Already a cool discovery with the first one! Omg Beacon of Ages so nostalgic.
I was ready to know most of them; I only knew, like, 4 of them :'D. Love this video!
I knew about a couple of these, but only cause I saw them on your stream :3
I also didn't know the majority of these. However, there were a couple I did know about, like the secret quaggan cave in wvw. If memory serves my right, you can also get one of the cats here to populate your home instance.
The majority of these I didn't know but I did know of the turkey room. First time I went through the Ascalon dungeon, the guy running it said "you gotta see this!" and showed us all. We were sitting there wondering what in the world it was all about.
The map wide secret unfinished "cavern" under the Silverwastes is also really cool! Psychedelic in places... Entrance on the wall just south of the ship.
Okay, you got me on the one in the dungeon and the SOTO one. Which really surprised me cuz Ive spent a LOT of time looking for secrets in the maps. Guess Ill have to go through all the dungeons and look for secrets there 😅
I played since beginning... I missed some secrets, thank you
I only looked at the title, gave an instant like and LOVE the video!
My favorite spot is still the Cerebro in Caledon Forest. But that snake room, that was awesome! Just before entering there was a potent green light that made my skyscale look sinister!
The abadon dance thingy was funny. I knew about the bandana. When i was new to gw2 in 2014 i spoke to every npc who had a name and i remeber being so superised when he gave me that item. Also your blue haired human female is so pretty. Good job om the fashion ❤❤❤😊
Found the organ last week but man so many secrets that was unknown unknowns.
Give it to me, your fashion *right clicks you*
Classic place in The Grove where you go under water and come up in a secret area not seen on the map.
Loved the VID! 😂😊
0:19 Sorry Lara! I actually knew all of these except the New Beacon of Ages Portal one. Really cool! But to be fair to you I really like to explore and to see it all. I even play GW2 Geoguesser for fun.... I guess that is just what 8000+ Hours and 15+ Core map completions does to a person. I think in Tyrian now.
I've been a Whispers main since launch and love all the secret bases. My favorite part is not knowing how many of them there are or where all of them are, some of the ones you shared are new to me. Always fun to discover new ones! Do you know about the organ in Ebonhawke? It works like the one you covered, play the right tune and you get a small chest. It's pretty nicely hidden!
Playing over 10 years... Didn't know about all of these...except the strawberry garden.. Which I stumbled upon as I was following the cubs while doing Chuka and champawat legendary short bow.. It was fantastic
There was one secret I DID know, the strawberry garden one. Awesome video, thanks!
I'll be honest, I didn't know about any of these. Thanks for sharing!
I didn't know any of these, Even after several thousand guests. The organ playing the GW2 theme is such a lovely detail!
There is also secret location in the Grove. You get there through water at the lowest floor.
Knew all besides the Tarir and puzzle! Gonna visit them asap!
Found the book in that first one on my (only) alt doing map completion (again) and having never played Old School GS I still sussed it was a callback. Portal wasn't active then. Good thing too as my main is doing Strict Order Of Release playthrough. Just started IBS today. My Reaper NEEDS that Metal Legion t-shirt!
Played since Release back in 2012, thousand hrs on playtime and most of this secrets are new to me. God I love this game, like your videos :)
nice video. never knew many of them.
if your in Gilded Hollow a guild hall. try to get as high as possible. you will find alout of cool things. also there is a jumping puzzle and i would start from there.
Surprised that I didn’t know some of these! Knew about 7 of them. Honorable mention - Cerebro in Caledon Forest!
I LOVE THE STRAWBERRY CHARR!!! u need to get back there in order to get an item to reforge caladbolg with, and she's such a nice surprise :)
it's probably unintentional but your glam reminds me of a certain sad bird from a fantasy series. also, been playing since launch and i didn't know any of these. i gotta go do that quaggan organ one now
Somehow I just know only the bandana and the underground dance room on Lion's Arch before watching this video I got bandana quite early on my first game on GW2, at that time, I just bored and try to explore Ascalon part of the map.
