    I’ve been learning the handstand for a year and just got a 3 second free handstand. I’m 6ft 2 and have awful balance and shoulder strength so I’m very happy with my progress.

    Personal experience: in 3 months using Berg app I was able to get 30s+ consistent handstand, with confidence in shapes. My level was already decent, but before its workout I was barely able to hold 5-10s once in a while. 100% recommended for solid results.

    You are such a good teacher and it gives a great feeling to take tips from you. I watched your absolute beginner handstand tutorial and although I'm not scared to fall, I can imagine how scary it is for some people and the way you explain everything etc gives a great and safe feeling. I also read that people who earn less money can get discounts for your app, and that is such a beautifull thing to do man. You are such a humble guy, Sondre! You know the thing 'a wolf in sheep’s clothing', you are the complete opposite. You are a sheep in wolf's clothing. Looking so badass and a real beast but I bet you have a golden heart. I admire you and I think people should see you as an example. I really wish you all the best in your life mate!

    I've just started working toward a handstand as I work on handstand pushup. I do this by kicking up a dozen or so times and each time i lower myself down a few inches bending the elbows and quickly pushing up, straightening the arms until my shoulders can't take anymore. In a few months I've made a lot of progress!

    I agree with the thing that you said in the past that thinking the wall is below you!. Many new beginners think entries and staying upside down is the same thing. No two completely different things. I unlocked most of my other entries besides the regular kick up the bent arm presses straight arm press by developing a strong resting position handstand while also having some of the prerequisite flexibility available

    Thanks! I've been trying for months, but I can't make progress. I've been experiencing pain on my hands (Rhizoarthrosis) and on my back from time to time, and this is so frustrating. Not to mention the lack of motivation during winter... Damn, you make it look so easy, you're the best 🙌

    i do a lot of work with my rare delts outside of hs training, but for it. And i do it with long tension. Hs focused training now maybe since 4 months, sometimes more, sometimes less, but atleast always 1 hard workout a week. I have the feeling ... i mean for sure, the front delts are kinda bigger muscle fibers than the rare delts. But i think, my front delts are compared to my rare delts and lateral delts, kinda underdeveloped. Before i started a lot with hs training, i done a lot of weighted pull ups clean and weighted dips realy deep But after i started with hs training, i feel like i cant do these for example +30 +40kg dips anymore, cause my shoulders are done. So i skipped doing a lot of dips and also weighted pull ups. ^^ My Question to you @Sondre Berg is: Should i also do some kind of front delt exercises meanwhile a hs training day again? If yes, which would be good fitting and before or after the real hs exercises? Greetings from germany and have a enjoyable new year swap. :P

    Do you think doing wall HSPU/dips/OHP will help to improve the strength for holding the handstand?

  • @MarincaGheorghe

    @MarincaGheorghe

    To hold a handstand is more about balance than strength. Just use the wall and practice balance near the wall more.

  • @axelattal7597

    I'd say generally yes. There's a case to be made for overhead pushing strength giving you a wider range of corrections during a handstand, but ideally you shouldn't be using big strength efforts to save a handstand in the first place. If you're asking in terms of conditioning and endurance they could help a bit, but holding a handstand against the wall for a long duration for example would improve that quality in a more relevant way.

    Would you also recommend your app for women? My experience is men build strength much faster. I'm looking to progress in my handstand - level 2 at the moment, and get stronger with body weight exercises. Thanks

    Yes, absolutely 😊 Women actually don’t progress slower, but usually start at a lower strength and musclular level and is capped at a lower level. Relatively speaking the rate of progress is actually quite similar (relative to starting point and potential that is)😊 When talking about handstand, given that you’re sufficiently strong, women and men would likely progress at a similar absolute level I’d say👌 There’s plenty of female users in my app, all of which are seeing great progress. There are also plenty of super talented women in the hand balancing community 😁

    It can be helpful, especially if you're new to handstands. Or, like he mentioned, u can practice some things in a headstand b4 doing it in a handstand (since headstands r a little easier to balance)
