I have this and it works for several reasons... I control the weight, and the resistance independently... its shorter in length so it works indoors better than other speed training clubs... it has the audible element to it so you hear the release... you time the release better so less casting and over the top action as you feel the club being pulled down from the top instead of thrown... you maintain better balance as you use the ground to push down against instead of sliding on top... more power, speed and efficient release... more consistent striking... you stop thinking "throw the club" to gain speed and start thinking "rotate and clear" to get it done... and out of everything it has helped me to do, it has reduced the hooks because of that upper body and hips moving and clearing on the downswing... can be used as a warn up tool pre round... started with a 100mph club head speed and at 107mph in about a month of use 2-3 times a week. my goal is to get back to 110 or more and then maintain it. this club is the one to do it.

How does it compare to the Ledbetter swing setter? Seems like he was ahead of his time 20 years ago!

This looks like an updated version of David Leadbetter’s swingsetter from 20 odd years ago!

@@DaGolfViking absolutely !! I love it. My brother is a PGA instructor and player , he hadn’t heard of the one club. I sent him Michael’s video and he said that this was exactly what I needed ( I suffered from a bit of an early cast too). It has helped me massively in a short space of time . He’s now ordered / ordering one also. So yes it’s a big 👍🏻😀

Mike, would you consider doing a review of a product called the connector by sure golf. It looks like quality piece a kit, almost like an improved smart ball like Justin Rose was using for a long time.

Not for £220 mate!! Or £210 with the discount.. You can get baseball bat "tempo trainers" for half the price - it's exactly the same thing (maybe not as adjustable) but all offer the "click" you can listen to.

£220 you must have been on the funny cigarettes lol. I bought a second hand swing speed trainer that mr short game advertised for £35 that does the same thing, gives you a load click at your release point. You must be on a good commission on this one, what a joke. Regards Nigel

  • @kevintrew2299

Yep, £220 (£210)…….probably going to be a nonstarter with a lot of folks. As mentioned by a number of posters on here, cheaper options available that do the “release” click, club speed and core strength training thing. Looks well made and well thought out technically but in these financial times I’m not sure the company that releases this product has done a market survey to gauge public interest and what they are prepared to pay for such a training aid. Similarities in value for your money to a product called the Gem. Retail cost of around £120 for something that others have built for less than £40 that was not built in China. £220 can get you a good couple of lessons with your pro if you are having release issues in your swing and probably drills to work on that don’t need such a device.

@@kevintrew2299 Hi Kevin Your right about the gem as well. I made one out of a bit of threaded bar some 10mm washers and a pipe clamp total cost about £10 and that is including fuel cost to shop for the material. I think these people are taking the golfing fraternity for a load of mugs and making a lot of money out of the golfer who’s sole purpose in life is to get better at golf and enjoy the game All the best Nigel
