i've been going to cons for 12 years my best advice i can give is have fun try not to make too many plans go with the flow if your uncomfortable just say no or leave the situation your in go find others to hang out with that are fun and don't go to closing ceremonies hang with friends and make more.

Loved this video! I went to a smaller con in NC this winter, and now im going to AC this summer! I am not prepared for the jump in numbers but this video was useful!
As someone who does Renaissance Faires..
I laughed harder than I should've at the $20 at Furnando's. I'm excited to go to a furcon, but I can't for a few years. However by then I'll probably have more friends (who would actually want to go to a con)! These tips are still really useful, especially since I'm planning on going to a comicon at some point! also did not expect motivational advice at the end but it helped.
