I've been to these stores. Once you get into PA, firework places are all over the place. Anything that just crackles is legal in NJ. Can't use anything that makes loud bangs. Haven't been down there for over a year as well

Sadly in my country fireworks are prohibited. So you have to improvise with gunpowder from the matches.

Definitely time for a road trip!!!

I'm fortunate that I have a really good fireworks store about 20 min from home and they're open year round. The owner knows what I use the fireworks for and gives me an extremely good deal. I buy Crackling balls by the case, which gives me 1,152 balls for $112. Crazy good deal!! He also always gives me about $40 worth of free fireworks to see if they would work with my toy photography. Super cool guy who's always interested in seeing some of my photos that I've taken.

Well I'm screwed. Fireworks are illegal in the Republic of Ireland. The only stuff sold here are sparklers, party poppers and crackers. Luckily I managed to buy a few packs of sparklers last October. I didn't really think of what to use them for until you reminded me about your "Explosions in Toy Photography" video.

You in the US are so lucky, it's almost impossible to get fireworks like those in NI 🤣 Also my respect for you increased by 1000% after you responded to the shopkeeper with "hello there"

it would be really cool if you did a quick tutorial on using fireworks with the limited cell phone camera. I've been trying but I just can't get my shutter speed fast enough to get any of the explosion.

Get an app on your cellphone that allows you to set ur shutter speed Like protake
