    Most of the bacterias found in Nature are already in our body. It's when we have an imbalance that the bacteria gets blamed as "sick", but all it is an imbalance. Most people's body do a great job keeping them balanced. Just because "some" people have had a reaction to flour, doesn't mean it was something IN the flour. Blind studies would have to be done where healthy people eat the flour and see if they get sick. If they don't, it wasn't the flour.

    I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, but the cheapskates at the ice cream factory never put enough cookie dough in there (nor enough chocolate for that matter). I've been buying the Pillsbury cookie dough, which is labeled as safe to eat, and adding that, but I hate spending money on things I can easily make myself. You have given me that. Cheers!

    As children in the 60s and 70s, we ate cookie and cake dough raw and no ill effects, for me anyway. However, insight and understanding grows and I suppose there is no way of knowing how many stomach aches resulted from it and were mistakenly attributed to eating too much of it, whereas it was the raw flour/eggs causing the distress! Thank you for the video!

    I made this today with 200g milk chocolate chips and 100g peacan nuts. I roasted these in a pan first until they were hard. Then I chopped them up a bit. The butter that I melted and the flour were a bit too warm and so the chocolate melted a bit when I mixed it all together. The result is absolutely stunning. The bits of nuts in there are just heavenly. Thank you very much for this recipe!

    I know someone who was in the hospital because they ate raw cookie dough. They got salmonella poisoning from the eggs. 😊

    This is an amazing recipe! My kid has a severe egg allergy so this has been an amazing recipe. To get the cookies to hold up a little better I froze the cookie dough in little balls and when they are frozen then I baked them. Thanks for making egg free recipes!

    Hey John, I love toasted flour I do mine a lot It taste so good when what ever you made is done, what a great flavor. I don't like chocolate chip cookies that much but I do love the cookie dough. My Favorite cookie is a Snickerdoodle.

    If you bake longer you can get some nice browning on the flour, giving it a nice toasty flavor. You can also use browned butter for an extra caramely flavor.

    I love your recipes ! they always come out amazing and not once have i had one fail on me. Do you think you could make a recipe for Strawberry Cheesecake Cookies?. I make them every valentines day after i found the recipe. You can use them for any occasion but they seem like they fit Valentines day perfectly. They have real strawberries have a cream cheese filling . They are a soft cookie but they must be refrigerated due to the ingredients .

    I’ve always eaten some of the dough when I make cookies. Even better, I like the bits of biscuit dough left after cutting out the biscuits. I’m going to try heating the flour next time I make biscuits.

    - 270g All Purpose Flour (needs to be baked: 20 sec microwave or 350° in oven for 12 mins, need to get to 165° to kill harmful bacteria) - 226g Unsalted butter (partially melted) - 50g granulated sugar - 275g brown sugar - 1tsp salt - 2 tsp vanilla extract - 2 tbs milk - 300g chocolate chips (or any other mix in e.g. nuts etc.)

    Nothing beats dipping strawberries into cookie dough. I also enjoy taking a ball of cookie dough and spreading it across a strawberry, encircling the berry with cookie dough before eating. Damn, now I'm starving.

    Hello! Thank you for the recipe, I have just made my cookie dough and it turned out well, not as in the video though. When i added butter with sugar to the flour, I was still feeling the brown sugar granulas and they were crunchy, I don't know why it is like that. Other than that, it was beautiful. Thank you!
