Another excellent tier list from the knife youtuber who would undoubtedly be in the "legend" tier list among content creators. I will say my only critique would be that "fine" and "glad it exists" kind of seem like they could be one in the same as far as category goes. Maybe switch the "glad it exists" tier with "great" or "excellent", that would have served as a slightly better slot for the categories. But just my unnecessary two cents of course; thanks for the video on this Saturday morning, and congrats to you on you 500K yesterday. Been with you since 7K in 2019 after I found your Spyderco Manix 2 LW video that you recorded right in the front seat of your pick-up. Cheers to 500K more bud!

I do agree with most of your rankings, including my two favorite carry knives. The Tenatious, and the Rat 1. I do believe that in the grander skeam of things they belong in the fine category because I know theirs a lot of better designs out there for around the same money. However I do now carry them both in S35vn now, although I first carried the Rat 1 in D2, and the 8cr13mov Tenatious and loved them. So as soon as I found out that they made them with s35vn I had to grab them up. By far my two favorites to actually carry on a daily basis. Mixed with my Griptilian it's the only 3 knives that I actually put in my pocket. Lol. As a side note I know there's probably a lot of better knives to carry, but those just do it for me. I'm that guy that once I find something that works for me I usually just stick with it.

I carry like 5 knives at a time, a modern locking knife mainly spyderco or civivi, 3 slip joints (Case Sod Buster Jr., buck single 379 , buck trio 373), and lastly my buck 110. I wear pants with many pockets so I can carry a lot of things, I promise it's not a purse.

The Vision FG is PooPoo Town for me as a knife. Maybe ok for a fidget toy. Clip digs into my hand. Lock makes it awkward to hold and use. Lock is uncomfortable to release too. It is innovative and cool to look at, just not a user for me. I like bigger knives. The CJRB Frack is my current new love. I got an Opinel at a gas station in France. I love it for what it is. Light, cheese cutter. :)

lol. I grew up during the Buck 110 hey day and you weren’t cool unless you could open yours one handed. Either by wearing it out to the point you could wrist flick it or by holding the blade and flicking the handle down. I think they call that the Spydie drop but it definitely started with Buck. In fact I’d say the whole industry of folding knives now is a result of trying to perfect on the Buck 110 short comings. The new locking methods, deployment methods, lighter thinner materials, better blade steels, etc. All of it. So if you enjoy EDC folding knives today you can thank the heavy, bulky, slow to deploy Buck 110. 😆👍🏼

I love the Vision but I'm scared to carry it now because it opened in my pocket. I'm not sure if it was the weak detent or the fact the lock faces the middle of the pocket where something can catch on it and allow the blade to open. Because of that issue I wouldn't rate it up there now.

I know I’m not the only fan that has spent way more money on knives than we normally would thanks to metal complex exposing us to knives I would never have looked into, I just finally got a kizer and it’s great, same with the vision fg, I thought there’s no way it compares to the ad20.5, miguron has received a bit of my paychecks

The Buck 110 and opinel are real user knives! All these young people want to flip their knives and look at it ! I’ve owned the same Buck 110 for the past year 200 years and Ican do everything with it , I even brush with it. This tier list thing is one of them modern kNifE gUY tHings and If you ain’t using the 110 or opinel you ain’t a true hard knife user !!!!!!! JK Love the tier list man !! Thanks for the thoughtful input

Not a huge knife guy, but I find your channel every couple months a try to catch up. For me being able to see a bigger picture of the knife would be huge on videos like this where im not super familiar with them. Otherwise great video

I know a lot of people aren’t big fans of the maker, but there’s no doubt that Eutektiks $85 knives are both great under $100 knives. They have the best action for a knife in that price range that I’ve ever felt.

There's a difference between what I personally love and what I would legitimately recommend to people. Another great example is the Bugout. I don't really like it but is it a good knife? Absolutely

I cannot find the Kizer Escort for under $100 anywhere. Where is that? I'd buy that knife for a good price! There are a few knives I think got a bad rap here (e.g. the Rats) but whatever. The one knife that I think got underrated fhat I would genuinely argue about is the Knafs Lander. Not because Ben seems like a super likeable guy, but because the knife *launched* with *free* docs for making the scales. Basically doing the work and handing it over to not just DIY owners, but also 3rd party folks. I think that, just by itself, deserves a place in "glad it exists". I'm surprised the Vosteed Raccoon make it into "Legend", but you won't get arguments from me, that knife is great. Though I am surprised that it got that, and the Drop Bear didn't.
