QDC is pretty dope, I love the 3 rotor mx5 in there. also really like tsujigiri pro pack and downsyde garage.

i swear its the same for me with the adc pack. all i want is a transition entry but due to having a inertia of a bus it became a reverse entry all the time. its fun thou but yeap. wdts /dwg all day everyday. those 2 just felt sublime and natural to drift. another nice recommendation video for me to show others when they want to get in ac drifting. keep the good stuff coming 👍

The simulation squad 1:1 car pack is amazing. Relatively unknown, with physics better than that of WDTS cars IMO. Give it a try

I love the R32 sim squad 1:1, it has ended up becoming my main car to drift and paired with extended physics its just a dream to drift

Acdrf car pack is so good, the Rtr car and gt86 are my favotirte cars are very dial in my opion with amazing sounds.

Just got my first FFB wheel and will be checking out some of these! Soon... Once i learn to drive normal(ish) that is...

Because off you Haugen I haven't taken off my HP Reverb g2 for a couple days now in first person view it's unbeatable and makes drifting in first person so so much easier it's hard in first person on a monitor but on a VR HMD I drift just as good as in 3rd person on a monitor

Hey haugen its that one guy with that one Windows XP pc you reacted on pc setup reaction from discord i am upgradeing it in a week so i want to play ac and more games but i dont know how to get a good car and the basics so this is helpfull

I feel like the ADC and Tando Buddies pack were designed for logitech setups. WDT and DW garage cars feel nice, but are so tough to control with the wheel delay. Have a t300 base in the mail though, hoping to notice a difference

I have both tando buddies and wdt and personally I am more comfortable with the tando buddies but both packs are very nice to drive with my thrustmaster setup

Oh Man DWG cars are by far my favorite I love them so much

Its funny which packs people tend to prefer. IRL drivers always seem to choose the same packs (WDTS, DCGP, VDC) and the non IRL drivers looooooooove to chime in and tell you how poop the physics are lol. That new Hush car pack is sick, feels like the WDTS cars with a little extra HP and some super hotboy aero.

@@HaugenRacing perhaps you should try sim squad 1:1 pack and arch data replacements for something that some people say is accurate physics

Good video, you should do another one similar with tracks instead

Smooth wheel action, need to find the perfect settings for mine as it feels jittery when drifting

I think a lot of people on assetto use it to practice = im not special in that i drift IRL but I would have to agree with your choices in the vid.

if you add extra heating in custom shader patch it should give you better smoke

U should drive the hush car pack. It gives an in between feel of realism and cheater cars and they are 300-450 hp with sick ass cars

wdt ae86 and the dwg rx7 fc are my favorite cars

every time you show your feet in the top right in the vr it kinda looks likee your driving around with your feet on the dash hahaha

Anything from the Aussie Drift Co pack is fucking amazing.

My favorite pack has to be the wdts! It just feels so natural, I haven’t experienced real life drifting but I know you have, do you like them a lot aswell?

this car park is like using 185 or195 frontwheels drift.it's even worse if it ,s a 90% grip server and host.

@@magical5181 no. Gravy garage feels way better in terms of how the car react but in return they are harder to setup. Wdts is cool tho but I hope they update it someday.

Im using a g29 and i tried some different packs. But only the tando buddies work well with it. Are there any similar handling packs?

You can drift these packs on the g29. Tando buddies cars are a joke and will make cars like WDT feel insanely hard in comparison. Just get used to helping the wheel a little bit and improving your timing on throttle input / counter steer.

You should try the doorbreakerz car pack

WDTS cus its in pretty much every server and for comp cars probably Tsujigiri pack.

It’s super hard to drift dwg/ wdts or any comp cars with the tmxp and g920 the wheel isn’t fast enough at all.

I drift RC cars and sim and am about to start drifting my old Benz in real life soon! I downloaded the mod for my car, and it feels terrible drifting! Then again, it's not a "drift" mod, just a replica of my car. It basically just keeps gaining angle on it's own and no matter what I do with clutch kicking, braking, steering or throttle adjustments, it just locks itself into a slow spin out. I can drift fine on all the main car packs: DWG, WDTS, ADC, Gravy etc. Is there really that much of a difference between a "drift tuned" suspension and a regular stock rear wheel drive car with a welded diff in real life? I was expecting that yes, it would be harder to drift with factory power and no angle kit or coilovers, but not nearly impossible like is represented in the sim... just curious what you think about that since you do both. I'm trying to simulate my real world experience as best I can. Thanks and awesome channel! Happy to be a subscriber!

Hi there! I recently started drifting as well, but what I notice is that all the cars handle differently in online servers than in Free Practice. I servers, I CAN drift, but in free practice NOT somehow. Can someone help me out why this is like this? It frustrates me a lot since I rlly wanna drift particular tracks that are not able to find online. Please help me out❤️

i think thats because in online servers all assist are off and it becomes more challenging to drift. certainly if you are used to assists on.

Which shaders pack you using?

all the cars i drift in AC are bouncing like they are on a road with bumps and I don't know why. you cars really float. also I can drift really good in Carx ( I know not the real deal) but AC I cant even drive of and drifting is not even an option like there are settings or tunes way off. the cars just don't drive good non of them. the one spins out instant and the other wont stay in drift at all. what am I doing wrong ?????

ADC cars feels more like my BRZ than Gravy Garage or WDTS. Have the hardest time driving Gravy garage

Dwg is a bit better then wdts but id say akuma workshop are best for street drifting

Anybody tried DW cars ?( drift workshop project) they are old cars from 2018 but more realistic than wdt , I use them for practice

so haugen out of all the cars in the vdc u chose the rx7 and do u feel that its better than all the other vdc cars cause u only ever use the rx7 vdc car
