I just have all the actual money making stuff hidden away in the greenhouse and sheds. Because this is a farming game, it’s not always about making the most profitable farm, it’s about rebuilding it.And it’s fun to grow different crops every season and see how they look. The 5th plot of strawberries or starfruit gets boring.

Summer is actually starfruit mainly cause starfruit’s 250 extra gold over ancient fruit is quite a lot when you add all the multipliers involved

I’m literally making a playlist of videos for information on what I’m gonna call “my perfect world” ❤

I like to plant fiber seeds in winter, they don't need to be watered so you can pretty much fill the entire farm with them. Then, in Winter 28, make a ton of grass starters and place some of them under fences. This way you will get a ton of grass in Spring 1st for your animals ❤ and fiber for a lot of recipes, like scarecrows and wild bait

Potatoes are better as you can do two harvests before the 13th and they have better gold per day than cauliflower. If you can invest in preserves jars before summer then melons are better, even more for pumpkins which is also more realistic timewise.

For fall Cranberries are slightly better, especially if you plan to use a keg or preserve jar.

I think hops is also a very good early game all around crop it regrows a lot(I think every day) it gives tons of farming xp and if you keep the gold hops you can use it as food in the mines and early skull cavern and you can make pale ale which sells for a pretty good price.

Yessss I needed this Thank you so much! I just picked stardew valley back up after a 3 year break and forgot most of the main things

Here’s a tip, corn seeds typically sell for more than just corn, so plant corn but before you sell it, turn it back into seeds (it’s not much more of a profit, but any gold counts, no matter how small)

Now I'm sad because I don't have enough pumpkins for wine because... Well, I'm lazy too 😂

Potatoes in spring 1 is in my opinion the best choice, decently cheap and you get multiple from one crop.

Tbh I love theses videos, even though I'm decent at stardew valley and have been playing since it released, I'll still always watch these videos

I like coffee for spring/summer. Tomns of harvests that can be turned into coffee for a huge profit

...i just finished the egg Festival, I forgot to buy strawberrys 😢

I remember either reading or watching a video, that selling winter seeds are more profitable than each forgable required for them, unless they're all iridium quality. (Botnist, and this goes for all the seasons seeds)

Winter is the only season i min-max my profits. To me, the game is already very generous with how profitable crops are, so I plant a little bit of everything the first 2 years for the fun of it, then in subsequent years I usually just go off vibes and which items I want additional backstop of in my fridges.

I use Deluxe Grow on all of my fields. I get a few extra yields to make more money for the next season as I slowly get more gold to add another scarecrow field every few seasons.

I go hard on winter seeds to make saplings. I also take any leftover crystal fruit and turn it into wine for variety.

im currently growing a small patch of strawberries on ginger island to process into strawberry seeds for spring year 3; instant strabbification

my opinion: spring - strawberry (seedmaker for maximazing the profit) summer - hops (daily harvest, also use keg, but it took years to finish the entire stock) fall - pumpkin (Idk) winter - mining I guess

I followed the instructions and it easily worked!

In my last playthrough I did the corn for all of summer and autumn, the profits were so worth it over the 2 seasons

not really its 3rd worst crop in fall Cranberries are the best even sold raw if you use kegs to make wine its by far away the best fall crop Corn is also really bad in summer so terrible. Suprisingly hops is the best summer crop but labor intensive starfruit is 2nd best,

Coffee is better than strawberries. In 4 days, you'll get 2 harvests (8 beans) from a coffee plant and 1 from strawberries, both giving you 120g in total. And though strawberries are on average going to be higher quality, and can also be turned into wine, coffee beans can be brewed into coffee, doubling it's value. And this only takes 2 in-game hours against the wine's 6.25 in-game days. That's money you'll have almost immediately that you can then put back into your farm so that you can make even more money.

Blueberries probably gave me the biggest boost year 1. Plus i had extra money from all the strawberries and cauliflower. I filled my entire farm with blueberries, or tried to, at least. I'm team cranberry. For the same reasons as blueberries and strawberries. Then you can make some kegs, etc etc

Ancient fruit wine sells for 1600 gold aswell :> it takes six day but if u make multiple at the same time and sell them all at once it’s worth it

Honestly, i have a greenhouse full of ancient fruit, tea saplings, coffee beans, strawberries, and some space set aside for plants i may need for questing.

I was too busy growing sunflowers for Haley in summer so I could grow blubies

For spring year 1 I spend all the starting money on parsnips, then all that profit into potatoes, both of these finish before the egg festival so you can buy strawberry seeds. Califlower takes too long to grow inorder to be sold in time for the egg festival which really weakens them as a profit plant According to the wiki the potatoes have a better g/day when you factor in their chance for multiple potatoes per crop (on average 1.25/crop or 5 for every 4 tiles of farming)

Cranberries are great cuz you get a ton of them so it's easy to keep preserves jars full which will get you more money than kegs

I personally like to plant 400 star fruit at the start of summer, and process them all into iridium star fruit wine. This’ll take you through the other seasons in time to plant more

Meanwhile me who sold out to Joma corp early and got the greenhouse quickly: no mortal may understand my plans

Buy a ton of strawberries then sell a ton and save about 40 for the seed maker so you can have about 90 for the start of the season next year

Throw the strawberries into the seed maker to get more crops. Also, look out for Coffee Beans in the travelling merchant. The price vary from 1.8K to 2K gold. It might be expensive but from one seed, you can build your own coffee empire since it's a double seasons crop.

You can also plant melons in the summer but the only con is that they can’t regrow but it’s still worth it

You can start multipying coffee in years 1, so you start year 2 with a lot o coffee

How do you craft green tea saplings?

the real guide is this ill try to make it quick. clay farm buy 1 copper on day 2 and continue clay farming then upgrade your pickaxe by buying copper from clint. get to bottom of the mines fast. fish on day 3 also. give gifts to caroline then get the tea sapling recipe make them and sell them for 500g each. joja mart membership bus repair, skull caverns use the slingshot and buy explosive ammo from the guild. summer buy DSG from sandy and starfruit seeds. do this as soon as possible try to get at least 2 harvests. then you can just relax from there on

Rhubarb is also an amazing choice for spring in year 2 will get 1 rhubarb Harvest then 2 Strawberry harvest

Artichokes also sell really well as pickle

I just use potato’s during spring.. always available and give good profits

Hi i’m new! How do you get the giant crop things? Or is that a mod?

So you can get two harvests out of cauliflower totaling 175 for 1 plant but kale you can get 4 harvests from and it gives 110 per harvest. So 440 from one farm slot or 350 from one farm slot. Js bc I’m new to the game and confused if I’m missing something

Honestly I go potatoes over cauliflower in the first year. Potatoes are cheaper, take a shorter time to be ready to harvest and you sometimes get two for the price of one.

I'm still grinding to get the desert in fall 1 because I kind of goofed up hard and never used the wiki. I also got a random starfruit. How does that even work

everybody acts like cranberries are more work than pumpkins but you have to harvest them 5 times compared the pumpkins 2 times or 3 with deluxe speed grow

I normally try to be the best in stardew (i would even go as far as to use item codes… *A LOT* ) Im going to try not to anymore tho!
