Space mountain (Florida) scared me away from rollercoasters for years (I was a kid and not only do I still hate the layout it was also experiencing technical difficulties with lighting and stuff the first time I went on it 😭) but my parents made me go on incredicoaster some years later and I can confirm it is such an amazing coaster to get over fears!

I heard the Florida Space Mountain has gotten pretty rough. Glad you enjoyed Incredicoaster!
One other thing about the screaming eagle is that is not to rough in the front row so it’s a good one to get a hate of roughness

Good to know!
Ive been riding rollercoasters for a while and i had gotten on my first rollercoaster at Busch gardens Tampa while i was on a fifth grade field trip. Unfortunately the whole group decided to forget about anyone who didnt like or want to get on a big rollercoaster and everyone headed straight for IRON GWAZI, i was traumatized after that but i still love rollercoasters and ive learned to love Iron Gwazi too.

Good pick!
My first is Zippin Pippin' which is in a park close to me, they only have that one, so i got stuck with a 70ft woodie, i love it now though :) I'm still anxious about coasters over 100ft though, and im going to great america soon so, yay.

I don’t think an extra 30 ft would feel that different but I could be wrong. Great America had some great coasters. Have fun!

Ride of Steel looks fun! Both are great introductions to airtime!
Mine was California Screamin/Incredicoaster (my 22nd credit but the one that made me a thoosie)
The coaster that made me get over my fears is anaconda at kings dominion. beware of the roughness though.

I heard that coaster’s pretty rough. But I’m glad it helped you get over your fear!
Nessie at Hansa-Park got me over my general fear of coasters. I was afraid of taller, looping and intimidating coasters. Nessie scared me because of its lap-bars while having a loop. But after riding it, I found myself on the big coasters at Heide Park the year after and I was officially into thrill coasters

My brother’s first inverting coaster also had only lap bars and he enjoyed it. As for me, without Incredicoaster (CA Screamin at the time), i wouldn’t be able to do all of the coasters at Knott’s the following year.
One taller coaster that I recommend to get over people’s fears of airtime is the screaming eagle in the front row at six flags st louis

Screaming Eagle doesn’t look too intense so that’s a good pick!
Goliath helix may be too inense for new riders who may not know about graying out
How does this dude not have more views wtf

I heard that coaster’s pretty intense. Good job!
My first roller coaster to go upside down. was Silver Bullet at Knott's. Was that a great first? I don't know.

Some people may be intimidated by how many inversions Silver Bullet has but besides that I think it’s a great first inversion coaster.
Or u can do like my brother-in-law did a cpl days ago and put em on Millennium Force for their 1st coaster ever. It was pretty amazing listening to them scream in abject terror, but probably not the best approach.

i was scared of going backwards but i got on th13teen and it was fun

That’s a great coaster to introduce people to going backwards! Much less intimidating than a boomerang.
Great video! I do want to note that some of B&M's older coasters are very intense like the Batman clones and Hulk. I know you know that though. The floorless coasters I've been on are not. I think Apollo's Chariot is an excellent first tall coaster. It's super graceful. Titan and Goliath make me nervous even though almost no coaster do because I've heard those helixes are intense and sustained. I305 is my #2 though, so I'd probably be fine.

Very good point about the older B&Ms! Goliath’s helices made me grey out but not for very long.

@@808CoasterLife Thanks! That's a good pick if it's only for a bit then. Backlot Stunt Coaster also does that, and that's a with the general public.
