The best Christian theme is the female version of Just Close Your Eyes that he used from 2004-2005. At Last is a runner up. His TNA theme was pretty good too.

Just Close Your Eyes by Waterproof Blonde and his TNA theme, Takeover, are Christian Cage’s best themes...in my opinion

Hot take: Story of the Year Just Close Your Eyes is a good ass theme and actually feels more like a complete song than the waterproof blondes version. The only reason people hate it is because the instrumental is slightly less “epic” sounding and his shitty “It’s... Christian...” return to WWE on ECW. If he debuted with it with the original plan of him bring the one behind the attacks on Jeff Hardy and teamed with Edge against Matt and Jeff at Mania you all would be loving that song WITH ALL DUE RESPECT 4 LIFE.

He should have used the Waterproof Blonde for Just Close Your Eyes when he was feuding with Orton back in 2011. Because it fits him as a heel.

This discussion starts with saying his TNA theme was the best and it ends there. Also, I know that patreon suggestions rightfully get priority, but I'd love if this segment evolved into discussing show themes, like for example WrestleMania themes.

Christian, for me will ALWAYS be DA MAN. He was always underrated

1. Just Close Your Eyes V1 2. Takeover (TNA) 3. At Last V2 4. Blood Brother V2 5. At Last V1 (the one that has that Bohemian Rhapsody vibe to it) 6. Blood Brother V1 / Project Gothic (a theme that was missed out in this video)

I love how Christian literally stole Jericho’s entrance with the countdown and a very similar pose when he would come out on the stage. Christian Cage was my fav in TNA. I literally bought the first TNA 3rd Degree Burn CD from Best Buy just for Christian Cages theme!

Me personally, always liked both versions of Just Close Your Eyes. My personal favorite theme as of recently listening back is the Take Over song (My Last Breath - Evanescence) in TNA. I just love that song anyways so to rip off that theme and made it work was just.....just so good.

Never disliked the Story of the year version, it’s just no where near as good as the original

Dude, I'm with Puls3 I'm the biggest Christian fan, ever. I was at a Raw Live Event in Calgary *dramatic pause* Alberta Canada where Christian was only given a promo segment just after being drafted to Raw, and we gave him the Pop of the night as soon as we heard "Just Close Your Eyes" ... that fucking violin intro?! I hope we made him feel like a world champ that night, I believe the clip is still on KZread. Jerry couldn't even handle himself with how we treated Christian, he should of been World fuckin' Champ, I'm glad the NWA / TNA gave him his justice. The cover of "My Last Breath" by Evanescence covered by our Australian Mate; Dale Oliver ... EERAYDAY OF MAH LAIIFEE ... that shit was the jam. I still to this day do the WrestleMania 17 for the Game Cube Christian "At Last" Stage Taunt every time I wake up in the morning.

So here's what I think is the order of Christian's theme Songs; - Brood Theme - Project Gothic (He maybe used it for a few weeks post-Brood and pre-E&C) - Edge theme (Guess still gotta count it) - The Tempest (Also known as At Last V1, The Queen Cover) - At Last V2 (The 2001-02 singles theme) - At Last V3 (2003 Post-UnAmericans) - Problem Solver (My Peeps Christian) - Just Close Your Eyes (The Better One) - Take Over (Evanescence Cover, TNA) - Just Close Your Eyes (The Worse One) So a few got mixed up, and one got missing, but overall, nice analysis boys!

I loved the story of the year version as well. Both are classic!

Christian is just the man! All his themes are fire! He's magic on the mic and golden in the ring. Endless classic attires! He has it all, but Vince had to keep pushing him down whenever he could. I hope he gets a few more World championship reigns. The peep inside me still wants much more. I hope he stays fit and keeps going for years and years!

Dale Oliver had some banger instrumental versions of songs, even impressively enough instrumentals of his own songs that would have lyrics and be better without them (for example, Robert Roode's "Off The Chain" was way better as an instrumental.) Because in comparison to the Waterproof Blonde one it sounds like a downgrade, the Waterproof Blonde one is a main Eventers theme, that Story Of The Year version is a mid carder theme

Fans hate change Story of the Year just felt more like a wrestling theme, something to get you hyped up, and beautiful singing to go along with it Waterproof Blonde was too slow for a wrestling theme

It would definitely have to be his TNA theme first, the original Just Close Your Eyes next and then At Last as number 3. I liked just about all the themes he used including the Story Of The Year version of Just Close Your Eyes that he came back with, which to me isn't bad at all but is definitely nothing compared to the original.

This is one time I have to disagree with the Deadlock Boyz. I like all his other themes. His last remix of Just Close Your Eyes gets a lot of hate but I think it’s banging and fits him perfectly. Should’ve had a few more high profile world title programs. The fact he never won the “WWE” World Heavyweight Championship is plain stupid. Better heel but still a competent face. Christian will 4-Eva Reek of Awesomeness!!!
