We acquired a 2023 XTrail in n connecta trim with the enforce which pulls a 2023 swift challenger hi style 650L and have been amazed with it's towing ability. One thing that needs to be said is that at this present time of commenting the electrics doesn't have the auxiliary pin wired as this is the pin needed for powering the fridge and Alko's ATC. Our dealer did say to us that Nissan will be releasing a module to correct this and when the dealers receive them they will contact us to get that module fitted. For some reason Nissan are not factory fitting the tow bar & electrics but the dealership gets in a third party to have it fitted. Other than that a far superior XTrail tekna that we had previously and even more so when solo
What about recharging while towing?
What I see in the media is that they test and promote cars that are £80k plus. Who can afford those.

I wouldn't purchase any of these as a tow vehicle, but the trailers seem to be so light that you can tow them with anything in the UK.

The numbers don't work for your top tow vehicle. A 2000 kg trailer should have at least 200 kg on the ball (10%). The Volvo v60 is only rated for 100 kg on the ball which would fall in line with the North American tow rating for the same vehicle (2,000 lbs).
