When you passed up the tier 3 stick i lost my mind🤣🤣

Lucky is one of the easiest characters i think. The luck boosting the rng in shop and crates is simply enormous.

Thank you for all your great content! I have a tip that I don't think I have ever heard any youtuber or streamer talk about. Maybe it's because it's obvious, but personally I didn't notice until about 100 hours of playtime: When you pick up red crates you heal up fully. Maybe something worth mentioning when you get to your elite/boss video. Love your stuff!

I've always thought Lucky was very strong, and I think the general consensus has caught up to that a bit, but when I did my guide to Lucky a *lot* of the comments were about how weak they thought the character was

This is my first time ever seeing something brotato related other than the cover art I was so confused but it looks cool it reminds me of flash Isaac’s art style

lucky is one of my favourite channels, i do a engeneer build with him, you want more trees for more crates and you can use the turrets coming from the trees amazing synergy, it got me to wave 38 without breaking a sweat

Slingshot Lucky is one of my favorite “random things to play for stress relief” in this game. Lucky was my second Danger 5 win, and I honestly consider him in the top quarter of character power in this game

At 3:07 I replayed it super slow like wait was there a cut there or is my brain just making things up. I always forget to just let the video play out a few seconds longer. Cheers to another great run! Love this series.

I'd love to see a challenge where you either randomize a character or pick whoever you want, then not only randomize weapons, but you then have to take every weapon that comes up in the shop (as long as you can afford it). Keep doing that throughout the run. I sure as shit couldn't win it, but I think you could lol

Do you consider playing Starship Scramble in Steam Fest? clearly inspired by Brotato but has some unique touch to the game.

Just finished Lucky using Engineering. Turrets and mines kill enemies and you mostly just need to run all around and collect resources and almost everything dies. Had trouble with the first elite, but the end bosses managed to kill.

When I see people online say "lucky bad" all I think is, wtf luck is an insane stat.

Brotato comes to game pass in 2 days. I picked it up in a combo with Death Must Die a last month though. I'm not great at this game. I'm way better at the other horde survivor bullet heaven games.

You got me thinking about luck and item shops. So I counted all the items that showed up in the shop by rarity using the Gladiator run of yours with -26 luck and this Lucky run at +200 luck Gladiator chances of a common item in the shop out of 50 shop rolls (171 items): 58% 99 Commons 31% 53 Uncommons 10% 17 Rares 1% 2 Legendaries Lucky chances of a common item in the shop out of 75 shop rolls (281 items): 48% 135 Commons 34% 96 Uncommons 14% 38 Rares 4% 12 Legendaries You were totally right. But strange that the Dev was of a different opinion... Maybe the coding changed slightly? Thanks for reading and enjoy your content as always.

@@Cephalopocalypse That would make sense. Outside of wave drops, I think that having more money would be a better investment for just a 10% increase on rarer items in shop by buying luck. But this game is nice in allowing players to play your own way.

Would you say the guns and weapons that give you stat points each 20 hit are good cause one I got like 95 damage, health, and attack speed?

I've found a interesting one is MultiTasker As many Ethereal Axes as u can nab for a bit till about 125-150% extra DMG, early in the run about 2-4 axes or combine 2 so it's more likely to Get the 1up ghost sep to start getting HP, gradually Increase When you get 125+% dmg Swap to guns and if want keep 2 axe 2 Ghost

I really don't understand people thinking lucky is the worst character either. It was 1 of my first d5 wins and I play it a lot for fun. The downside of attack speed can be fixed quickly and 100 free luck is insane. Also the luck damage passive more than makes up for the attack speed deficit. I just don't understand

Lucky isn't the worst character in the game (that title goes to Jack), but it definitely has one of the worst penalties in the game with that XP penalty. The attack speed penalty can be worked around, though I prefer to get it out of negative completely. I think one of the absolute necessities for Lucky is a high speed. That being said, Lucky/Speedy GMO modded character, perhaps?

Jack is really only awful in danger 5. Characters like Streamer are always bad.

Probably not! Though this build doesn't really need to upgrade the sticks (which don't upgrade super well past 2 anyways) so it's not a big deal either way

I mean really the characters aren’t random truly you don’t do repeats so we know we’re gonna see each eventually the only random element to that is the order by witch we see them and the weapons used

U kinda sound like the I’m actually kid

This build doesnt work.... You get overwhelmed by the first boss elite wave. Just tried 5 times, boxes dont spawn as much as like in your video even tho I have like 200 luck lol.

Streamer is imo the hardest character so you are not alone! My guide for it is pretty comprehensive though, that's one of the most detailed ones I've done

An awful lot of people! The guide I did to Lucky something like half the comments were about how weak they thought the character was. I don't get it myself, I've always thought it was really powerful

I wish you condensed this into a 10 or 15 minute video. I love your explanations and all, and it's kind of satisfying/stress relieving, but I don't get much time. And I'm sure many people can relate to this.
