Personally I don't use any noise cancellation most of the time, I see this as a win for people on a budget. The battery life is similar to most with case charging anyways and for that price you can't expect amazing audio. Most buds only last 6-8 hours anyways before they're back in a case. Most of my buds wouldn't get me through the day if they weren't in a case at lunch (xm4's, Samsung buds 2 pro my 2 usual daily drivers).

​@mebenicolas 80 bucks is not even close to budget. My $40 Soundcore earbuds have pretty good audio quality, 9 hours of battery life and 36 hours with the case, ANC, PNC and Transparency. The Transparency sucks but the ANC is pretty good. I'm sorry but this is a huge loss for people on a budget

For non-audiophiles it’s not an issue. Many are just happy to be able to listen to music and content that sounds reasonably clear, has bass, etc.

@@elkellenhabla not really. audiophile is when you're actually educated about audio and appreciate the smallest details, for which you often use other equipment such as a DAC and prolly a good music player, etc... there's a difference between that and great sound that you get from 'premium' headphones like Bang & Olufsen. And quality can vary even up until 'premium'. So I don't expect that level, but for 79 dollars I don't expect meh / usable sound as well.

I got some Sony WF-C700N earbuds for $89 and they come with transparency mode and noise cancellation mode, plus the case charges the headphones, long battery life maybe about 12-15 hours and overall awesome audio quality for the price!

I feel it'd just be better to get soundcore earbuds. The casing is about the same size, can last a week without having to charge it, the earbuds last like 8 hours, amd they have noice cancelling.

I love how these look. I'm probably going to get the Solo Buds because I have Studio Buds + and those sound incredible so if the Solo Buds sound anything close I am going to be happy with them.

@@divitkarekar5803 snagged a deal back in December on eBay for a brand new pair. Only downside was that the warranty was only 6 months, but they’re otherwise identical to any new pair.

This. People are not talking about beats fit pro enough in my opinion. Airpods pro 2 and beast studio buds does not stay in my ear. They just keep falling out. I've tried different style tips and even the foam tips but no difference.

Got the red ones. People tell me they hear me great, so microphones are very good. If you are using one at a time, you can charge every couple days. They are very comfortable. Score is 5 out of 5.

So they kinda decided to move the battery of the case to the earbuds themselves, surprised it actually fitted

I only use over ear for noise cancellation so these are actually pretty attractive to me.

Cause those few extra grams in my pocket would’ve slowed me down too much. Bad idea.

By comparison the Nothing ear (a), the budget pair, is a little more expensive and will probably do you better for sound quality and charge time WITH the case, which you don’t get with these. Most buds with the case charge lasts longer than these if you measure it from a “full charge” for both. Honestly, kinda bafflingly stupid ways to supposedly lower the price with these that result in a bud that’s not even worth that low, low price.

That cycle is so clean

They should name it "Beats Rollback"

There are so many wireless earbuds with all those missing features at that price point (eg Soundcore, JBL, Earfun, etc). But the brand name beats everything else, eh?

The issue I had with Beats on my Samsung is that it would never reconnect when I walked out of range. I figure one day they would update it but never did.

I'm more amazed that they got rid of the included usb-c but also decreased the price. Usually the price stays the same or gets higher when they got rid of included accessories 😂

$5 earbuds from five and below have 8hr battery life, cable included, noise cancellation, solid audio, decent stereo microphone, and come in more colours with 4 different silicone tip sizes mine have lasted 4 years so far

These actually seem like a good upgrade from my cheaper Ankers despite the Ankers having (poor) noise cancellation, battery case, Qi charging, but the buds themselves only last a few hours. I usually use them with just one earbud in at a time (parenting).

The idea is good, I've been wanting a small case for earbuds like the first gen airpods, but to be honest beats are OK sounds and in that price range soundcore beats them (no pun intended lol), imma wait until they get a product like that
