When it was released, Arkham Knight was really poorly optimized and that skewed its reviews to negative at first. Back when the Arkham games were coming out standards were way higher for AAA games. If the game was locked at 30 FPS that made the game shit for a lot of people. They eventually fixed it and people could appreciate it. Arkham Origins had some bad reviews as well because it was too similar to Arkham City! It was considered a bad thing if it didn't advance a formula enough at the time. Nowadays we're begging publishers to just release their AAA and "AAAA" games in a playable state and to be at least as good as their previous entries. As long as the game isn't insanely buggy people are happy, no one seems to care if it's locked at 30 FPS anymore. People thought were entering a dark age back then with DLC, but little did they know what awaited them......

@@sanjayraju988 I totally understand. For me the joy of the Batmobile was simply to drive it around, getting in and out, totally not liked all the "arcade challenges with it" I mean there's no other game with can enjoy a Batmobile in an "open world" like this.

Is that the Batwing? In my 2000+ hours of playing the game I always thought it was just a Militia jet. But I guess it sounds about right since Alfred was having the Batwing do scans for the Cloudburst during that section of the game.

Truly masterful gameplay! The one thing that bugs me every time, though, is the explosive gel being sprayed on the ground directly behind the enemies or firing the grapnel gun right behind them and them not even batting an eye...I know it's a small detail, but it still get's to me, like there's no way they can just not hear all that going on immediately behind them but they can hear a dudes lights get punched out on the opposite end of a rooftop in the rain...lol

Plus the reason he can do fear take downs is because the new arkham knight suit isnt as heavy so batman is genuinly is that fast. Dude in the comics created a second personality just in case his mind got comprimised. Plus considering that he has no super powers he has high tech gadgets sure he isbt in a iron man suit. Like he has no powers but even thr justice league considers him one of the most dangerous members thanks to his impossible levels of inteligence Lex is a super villain and he is litterwlly just evil jeff bezos.

@@somedorkydude6483well i think darkshadow means that Batman is more a vigilante than a superhero. And in many context, Batman always refers as himself as a vigilante and not a superhero. But like Darkshadow said it's up to you of what you think and there is many debate about it. Personaly I think he's both. Sometimes revengeful, violent and angry, and sometimes the perfect superhero mind.

If I’m being honest when I run into a stealth mission in arkham knight I just search up a vid on this guy’s channel and copy him 😂. Sometimes it doesn’t work because it requires insane timing but a lot of times it’s fine. Combat I learned from watching batman arkham videos. Now I play combat while using gadget and takedown variations while not getting hit. Also good to practice on azrael’s atonement in arkham knight
