velocicoaster is wayyyy more fun and makes you feel way more feelings than hagrids. hagrids is fun but velocicoaster actually makes you FEEL the intensity/ thrillz

Molly, I'm so proud of you for even including the water rides. That truly shows that you are as unbiased as you are brilliant.

I have to agree that Hagrid’s is the best ride in the park! I’m not a big coaster fan, so I was SHOCKED how much I loved this ride. It may not go upside down and have corkscrews, but the thrills they do work into it are awesome. The story of it all and the animatronics just make it so much more of an experience. My friend and I rode it for the first time this past September (it was a walk on first thing that morning!!!!), and our minds were blown.

I would rank Velocicoaster as number one and put Hagrid at 2. Both are amazing but Velocicoaster is easily the most thrilling coaster in Orlando and with the high load capacity way easier to get on than Hagrids.

I prefer theaming, show scenes, animatronics, and story telling, so I like Hagrids more. I will say Velocicoaster is definitely amazing, and I can understands a thrill seekers perspective of the two.

ur so right but i don’t understand how the doctor dooms free fall is not high though like creativity: hagrid thrill:velocicoaster i can tell because I rode hagrid 4-5 times velocicoaster 3-4 times

My love for HP took me on a solo trip last year, the only souvenir I came home with was a Cat in the Hat mug. I must have ridden that ride 6+ times when I was there. I simply won’t stand for this Cat in the Hat hate lol

I love the Cat in the Hat ride! I go on it every time I go to Universal if time allows haha. I love it the way it is and I would be heartbroken if they were ever to get rid of it.

I haven’t been in about 16 years, but I remember loving the cat in the hat ride when I was in high school! I am going this summer and that is one of the rides I’m most excited about 😂

FYI: Hagrid is no longer a part of early park admission. I have heard it does tend to open early. I think everyone was heading straight there, and not enough people were doing Hulk. I would suggest doing Hulk first (as everyone heads to Velocicoaster first there is virtuallyno wait in EPA), them Velocicoaster, then Hagrids. Or if Hagrid is your end all be all, go stand in line for an hour first, because it will open over 60 minutes and only rise. Also, was there yesterday. It was down pretty much all day. If you are going multiple days, get in line the first time available to you. It may not be available on your second day.

Not sure if things have changed, but we were there about a week ago and the only two rides you could do at early admission were Hagrids and Velocicoaster.

I got on early admission this weekend at 7am 3/18-3/20

Much as I love the Hulk Coaster, it's a painful experience like no other coaster - guaranteed headache afterwards as my head slams left and right on the restraints - seems to be unique to this coaster....

Yeah, hitting my head on the restraints no matter what I do ruins the experience. After 5 tries on the ride, I have decided to just not ride it anymore.

i’ve found that I have to decide on either holding my head forward or pushing it into the seat , the only ways i’ve found to avoid that hulk jostle and headache, doing that I can ride it over and over and be fine!

The Velocicoaster on the other hand, is faster and Smoother.

Here's a weird suggestion video.....with all of the Potter stuff now....I think it would be fun to see everything there done in order....or as closely as possible to the books/movies from the rides to the shops to the treats. :)

No BS. As a kid raised on Harry Potter. Forbidden journey made me shed actual tears of joy being in the castle, and the quoe being so great, ie when you’re waiting in hall and the 4 head masters I was in that room while it was a almost 2 hour wait and they didn’t repeat themselves at all, which amazed me.

Dudly do rights is super fun as long as you do it around the start of the day. The lines get crazy around the end of the day.

Finally going to universal for the first time this coming summer and I can't wait!

I enjoy the cat and the hat, and I enjoy that you aren't looking at screens which I think is probably the worst part of universal.

Dr. Doom I think is too low! For a typically low wait time ride you get a really good thrill in the initial launch up which I think makes it a great value (time for thrill wise) ride. Also, the views from the top are cool.

I love those spinners! They always give me the giggles that turn into hysterical belly laughs when I’m with my people.

Finally rode velosicoaster and it was incredible but yeah I love Hagrids so much! Going at night is really cool with the headlights on 🥰

I’d say fear fall is a must do on the way out of the park. Just being able to see everything lit up before leaving is awesome

I love the Jurassic Park water ride so much that I went on it when it was freezing cold and no one else in my family wanted to do it. Literally the only time I've been in the Orlando parks so I'm glad I did it then because I didn't even get that wet haha

We did single rider twice last weekend on Hagrid’s and waited about 15-20 each time when the posted wait was 120 so I would definitely recommend it if you don’t mind riding in the sidecar

We just visited both parks last month for the first time. I agree with you 100% on Hagrid's. I could have repeat rode that coaster all day long. It is the best ride I have ridden to date and my favorite ride at both Universal parks.

Video Idea: A video of each park for Universal and Disneyworld about all the shows and other attractions available too. Watched all 6 of your ride ones and they were very useful and entertaining thank you.

My brother had never been on a roller coaster and his first ever was Velocicoaster. He refused any other real coasters since. Even was a little too traumatized to ride Big Thunder the next day.

Will you be doing a video of universal rides (outside of islands of adventure - like the rides in the regular park)?

I just recently visited IOA and would like to say that Dudley do right is not a very Ada accessible attraction the boats are very difficult to get into for your wheelchair users and definitely recommend waiting for the one accessible boat ( the only reason we didn’t is because we had a gold pass but had still been waiting for an hour and reservations we needed

That's my guess, like a basketball or something from above, because the marks on her nose are below where they would normally sit.

Several years ago, our company rented out the section of the park that includes Hulk and a bunch of other rides. My co-worker did Hulk about 5 times in a row and ended up with severe vertigo for several months. 😟😫🤢

Dudley Do Right is awesome (the show from Rocky and Bullwinkle). The movie was based off the cartoon and was good too :)

Last time I was on Hagrid’s it was raining HARD- had to go back to resort immediately afterwards

One year we got so soaked on one of the flume rides that we bought clothes to change in to rather than get on an air conditioned bus back to the hotel.

As a coaster enthusiast, velocicaoster is my favorite but Hagrids is my second favorite

Hagrids was an amazing ride. I suggest riding it at night and during the daytime both are a different experience

Completely agree: Velocicoaster and Hagrids are the best rides in this park. One tip is going on the week, is less crowded.

I stood in line for single rider Velocicoaster yesterday and it was at capacity and only took about 30 mins compared to 120 normal line. Went really quick for some reason

Great Video, very informative and respect your feelings on things. I love Jurassic park water ride, one of my favorites. I was there about 5 years ago when Hulk was being retracked...going back in September cant wait to get on it along with Velocicoaster! Also, heard mixed reviews on Kong...it was being built when i was there last, looked like it would be more involved that more of a simulator. I'll go on it regardless, we got the express pass! Quick question, was Mummy left off this because it's being refurbished? Mummy is one of my favorites.

Is it just me or does the audio get sort of wonky partway through the video, on and off? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Great video, Molly. Hope your nose is ok! ❤️

Molly it’s our first time going here presidents week for my husband and I. we love the videos! I can’t do rollercoasters due to an injury but my husband can. Will I be able wait in line to view the cool Queues but then exit before boarding the rides?

Molly do you think you could fit both universal studios and islands of adventure in one day?

FYI....I hate getting wet too but love the water rides. Pro tip...change into flip flops before riding and buy a poncho before going to the park on amazon (much cheaper than buying in the park). This will keep you pretty dry. I also bring a backpack with a change of shorts and undergarments. Also ride before it gets dark so you dry before it gets cold.

No cuz pteranodon flyers is SO good. I went on it with my mom when I was like 8 cuz I was afraid of river adventure and my dad and brother were going on it and my mom and I had the most amazing time, we both still think it’s one of the best rides ever, especially when it’s cool out. They need to make one for adults

The one time I rode the Carousessel, I ended up on one of the creatures whose back wasn't actually shaped like a saddle, so I had to choose between pinching myself in the groove, or STANDING the entire time

I absolutely LOVED Popeye's water ride when I was kid. It was so much fun.

I love the water rides at Universal one of my favorite parts of the park. We stay on property when we visit so we hit all three in a row go back to our hotel change and back to the park we go!

Two things: 1) Velocicoaster is AMAZING but I wish it had an over the shoulders restraint. I feel like I will slide out with the thigh restraint when sweaty, covered in sunscreen, or wet from a rain shower. It makes it a little TOO thrilling for me lol. 2) The Harry Potter attractions are so good this isn’t really a dig, just something to note. We went for 4 full days and not once did I have the same ride on those attractions. Some element always didn’t work on one run or another. My first ride on Forbidden Journey was GREAT. I was closest to all the best effects. Next time, the dragon didn’t blow smoke. Third time he didn’t move at all. ( these were on different days). Hagrids the first time the blast ended scrute didn’t have any fog. Second time was good. Third time the ride lost power and we got stuck right before the drop 😅

Does the nose band-aid and sidewalk face plant have a connection with the two dots on the side of your nose? We are big fans and watch all your videos and recently noticed the dots……just curious :0)

I totally agree with everything, but I think Velocicoaster and Hagrid’s magical creatures motorbike adventure are tied. Both incredible coasters!

IMO the single rider lines for Hagrid's and Velocicoaster are more faster than the regular lines. Those regular queues are at a snail's pace.

I hate getting wet, and we always visit Universal around the Christmas holidays (Granted, Florida doesn't usually get too cold around that time, but still...) Maybe someday I'll visit it in the middle of summer and I'll bring a change of clothes.😄

Just got back, I loved The Harry Potter motorbike ride and just loved Skull Island…anything with Dinosaurs! Spider-Man is my all-time favorite!

We went to Islands of Adventure last week & when we rode One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish we listened to the rhyme song & we didn’t get wet!

So, The Death Eaters are in Hogsmeade all year round, eh? I’ll get those darn Death Eaters when I go!

Really enjoyed the ranked series of videos but can’t find a Universal Studios one on the channel? Am I missing something or is it something still to come?

I think they will be doing something with the cat and the hat ride because last time I was there they did a survey after everyone rode it.

I would put velocicoaster in first and hagrids in second mainly because I found velocicoaster more thrilling, not that hagrids wasn’t thrilling, but when I went on this my adrenaline was pumping hard when I got on velocicoaster, more than hagrids so I had kind of a better experience, plus the track was much smoother

Velocicoaster for me was way too aggressive to enjoy. Dont get me wrong its a fantastic design, but wow if you get motion sickness those G-forces will put you through the wringer.

Hargrids tends to have longer lines so probably go there first. However In my opinion velocicoaster is far superior to Hargrids so if you could only do one I recommend velocicoaster

Having ridden everything apart from Velocicoaster before, even if it looks amazing, is it worth the trip to the park and the ticket cost, just for that particular ride? is my favorite ip in the park but do enjoy all the rides they have.

Absolutely worth it! My advice is if you go by yourself, skip the single rider lane! Sometimes it can end up taking long and you miss the really awesome queue that Velocicoaster has!

Was lucky that the day decided to go whilst on my holiday, it was overcast and just threatening to rain which helped keep crowds lower and queue wait down to around the 10 minutes, three rides, rode front, middle and back and now agree with every one else, that Velocisoaster is AWESOME.

Hey Molly having been a real Dudley, lil disappointed you don’t like the ride but understand. My wife not a fan of water rides either. It still a fun ride but no Splash Mountain. Love your vids!

Hulk literally ruined me. Scared the bejesus out of me so bad and I’ll never ever do it again 😭😭😭

Prediction before watching- Hagrid is 1 and Velosicoaster is 2.

Velocicoaster is my #1. But it definitely is more extreme than Hagrid's. Hagrid's is still a lot of fun tho. I could see Hagrid's being called a family coaster. No way is Velocicoaster!
