They've always been around the same. Orville by Gibson and old Tokai Reborn are the most expensive vintage ones there.

The secret is already out on them and some of the nicer ones are used mid grade Gibson money. The higher the number on the model name, (rlg-120 etc) the more yen in the thousands they costed new so people sell them by that

I have a 1989 RLC-60 and it's an astonishing guitar. The original white finish has yellowed massively over in Japan (I imported it to the UK last year) and it's gorgeous and practically plays itself. Even though I own a 2016 Gibson Les Paul Custom as well, the Burny is my go-to guitar... it's seriously that good!

Tokyo seems like a gold mine for cool guitars. I wanna go.

I remember doing work experience in a guitar shop over 5 years ago that had loads of Burny guitars, but the entire time I thought they were called 'Bunny' guitars....I feel enlightened with this new found knowledge....

I was lucky enough to play a Burny about 9 years ago and it’s still stuck with me because of how bloody good it was

Navigator is a brand that makes high end copy guitars from the ESP guys. They say that they are better that the Gibson Custom shop and historic guitars and are built to perfection

also the maya, I have a strat maya and the quality of the wood is incredible. the body is of an alder piece.

I just picked up an '88 custom in black. I was considering options and this video helped me narrow-down my choices! Considering I paid about the same money for it that a new epiphone les paul costs, it is absolutely incredible!

I too was lucky enough to find one of these "vintage" LP copies. For me it was a 1975 Kasuga LG770v that was about to be used as freaking firewood was rescued and brought back to life with quite a bit of spare pieces that me and a friend had lying around, just as you say those japanese copies can kick most Gibson's asses for a surprise for pretty cheap second hand prices, yours is in pristine condition while mine wasn't loved very much, quite a bit of relic and cigarette burns from 40-something years of heavy giging, yet somehow it's still solid as a rock and roadworthy. Anyways, congrats with such a great find and cheers from Mexico!

I bought a guitar at a show labeled "Japanese Les Paul." Honestly I love it and it's my favorite guitar. Thinking about putting in some new pickups/fixing it up a bit. Still not really sure what it is but I love it.

my Burney is a RLC 55 its a planet burst finish tho, and there is not many of those. It's a beautiful guitar to look at and to play i'm really proud of it and yours sounds amazing too.

This looks and sounds sexy AF!!!! I never heard a collector said a bad thing about Burny.

That is a beauty. I love the cream colour. I picked up a vintage Les Paul style guitar of the same era the other day. It's cream colour as well. Very similar to your Burny but not as nice yours. Awesome find!

Props for Mad Season! That is one of my all time favorite albums.

The Burny SGs were pretty cool too. The same could be said about those. Loved the video.

I have been playing Burny/Greco/Fernandes/Tokai since the early 1980's and they are all wonderful guitars. I currently own a Greco 78' strat copy, a Tokai 72' re-issue Flying V, a Tokai 57' Korina Explorer prototype w/ split V headstock, a Robin (Tokai) 1982 super strat, and a Fernandes (1988) 56' strat re-issue... and they are all amazing sounding guitars. And since they are not collector items I can play the heck out of them.

I have a pair of Agile 3100 series LP's. Both are great build quality and sound great, both similarly spec'd to a custom. Love them, great value too. One is a cherry burst with humbuckers, the other a gold top with P90's.

LOVE my Agiel AL-3100MCC. It's a freaking awesome guitar! You just can't go wrong with Agile. It's astounding how much the guitar costs considering how awesome the quality is.

Got myself a 1979 Greco Les Paul Custom. It is all gold hardware like yours but its a burst instead of plain white! Love these guitars!

Got a Burny LPB 80 on eBay for under three hundred and lm blown away. It’s like a time capsule and it’s so cool. It’s become my favorite out of 12 really nice basses.

I had a 1990. Joe Perry model with VH-1 pickups (these were made by Gotoh btw), it was a great feeling and sounding guitar with a bit thinner body and a maple cap + flame veneer..VH-1 was a gibson t-top style pickup...Btw your's is a Randy Rhoads model and yeah it has a maple cap! I'm glad you decided to talk about Burny guitars, I find them the best brand if you want an LP..you get a great LP that is often better then the original for a great price..but they are not cheap in any way, unless you go in Japan and pick them up without paying shipping and taxes...

I’ve wanted to get one of the Burny Les Paul customs for years, they do one with a Floyd and Sustainer that I seriously love

I have a White 1989 Orville by Gibson LP Custom it doesn't suck. It has now turned a buttercream color as it has aged. Looks alot like that Burny.

My best LP is my 1981 Ibanez AR50. Love it to bits.

Long time Fernandes, Burny fan. I had one very similar to yours. It was all mahogany. I ended up selling it to a friend who wouldn’t quit about wanting to buy it. I kept my black one..it is just a bit better.

I actually just bought a 1990 RLC 70 black custom before I found this video. I do love the Cream custom, almost snagged one. But the black/gold combo is just my favorite. Can't wait to see how it stacks up against my beloved Gibson Trad Pro ii w/ Floyd.

Nice score you got there. I sure wouldn't be mad though if i scored one of the killer high end older Tokai Les Pauls either. Those are exceptional guitars as i'm sure you know.

I had a black one, same year as yours. It was good. But I found the Grecos to have a slightly higher quality to them. That being said. They’re both fantastic. My only gripe with the burnt was the dyed rosewood board. I had worn through the dye to the point where there where finger print marks all over the fretboard which was well, totally hideous. So I sold it off. I ended up with an 82 Gibson Les Paul custom. Which I’m very happy with. I found the burnys and grecos to fill the void until I could afford the real thing, but eventually they both left me wanting a bit more. They are an excellent guitar for the money. I’ve been hunting for the early 80s Rhoads model, since Burny actually went to Cali and inspected Randy’s actual les Paul for the specs.

I own a left-handed 2005 TOKAI '61 Reissue SG guitar Made In Japan. It is so well made and plays/sounds amazing. I played a used 2019 Gibson SG Standard recently at Guitar Center and it played and sounded amazing too! I bought the TOKAI used 7 years ago for $650. Guitar Center has that 2019 Gibson SG down to $899 which I would buy if I didn't already own the TOKAI.

Living in Japan rn and got one for around $400. It's a 1991 RLC-70 and although it's rough shape, the aged look gives it character and it still plays very well

My first electric in 1992 was a silverburst Harmony les paul copy. I still have it and im never getting rid of it. Plays very well. I also picked up a Stellar black les paul custom copy for about 200 used. Ive liked both of those more than my old Epiphone les paul. That thing was junk. BTW, Mad season rocks. Great song choice.
