I’ve flown with BA many times mainly on long haul flights to the USA and apart from the odd delay they’ve never let me down. The only annoying thing I’ve ever experienced is one time after a long flight from Houston to London Heathrow I had a short flight up to Glasgow and I couldn’t wait to get home and to bed, but as we landed at Glasgow airport the pilots aborted the landing and had to turn around and do it all again. But that is something that can happen to any airline so not the fault of BA

Weather is very unpredictable, especially in the uk, guessing that’s why they had to turn around. Never flown with BA long haul to be honest, but their short haul flights are superb imo. Hope you enjoyed the video

Nice video mate, I do like flying with scheduled operators such as BA, KLM and Air France - it’s a nice step up from the budget ones. Newcastle Airport is absolutely dire these days mind!?! PS Bad luck with the result but you bounced back well!?

Was a pleasant flight tbf, I’m looking into doing more flights for the channel hopefully. I think as it was late at night the airport was pretty lifeless, you can’t get any worse than Luton airport at the least 😂. Was a pretty dire performance from us, fair play to u lot, deserved the 3 points.

Really liked this, something different. As an aside really glad you support your local side rather than the big boys. I had the pleasure of being fourth official at Griffin Park a number of times in the early 90s and refereeing/linesman on reserve team games. Always a very friendly club.

@@danielstripreports I don't support, as in going to games, anyone as I'm still involved observing (assessing) referees for the FA in the Non-League system. I follow the club where I was brought up, which is Wrexham. Getting back on topic I'm having a day trip today, Beeston to Stockport outward via Stoke, returning via Sheffield. Should be a good mix of stock and great scenery. Sadly my IT skills preclude filming, editing and uploading.

A lot quieter than when I last passed through NCL… the security queue was all the way down the escalators!

Very nice blog 👍 I took a flight last year 14th December Birmingham airport to Edinburgh on easyJet EZY502 08:45 Tuesday code good fun.

I found BA to be quite snooty and never found the crew friendly. At least short haul they are a slightly upmarket version of low cost airline

I’ve flown with ba a few times mostly long haul and I’ve always found them to be a mixed bag. The crew have been really hit or miss, the seats have been a tad tight on legroom and the food has been appalling. A flat sandwich with a slice of tomato and a slice of burger cheese for breakfast is completely unacceptable!

Is there any other airline to compare it to? I mean, certainly BA is better than loganair and easyjet right?

The new check in area definitely wasn't open in 1994. I can remember it being build in the early 2000's

My apologies, while a new terminal was built in 1994, I later searched and found the new check in area was opened in 2000. Little mistake on my part

Never knew you can fly from London Heathrow to Newcastle. Than using LNER or Lumo train to Newcastle or coach from London Victoria coach station to Newcastle via the A1 & A1(M).

Your Metro train from Haymarket will have gone through Gosforth, where Gregg's started out, hence the number of Gregg's shops around the toon. What was going on 3:01 - 3:33? It looks like it ought to have been edited out.

@@danielstripreports Yes correct Loganair is mostly regional. But it does operate IOM-LHR on behalf of BA at the present time.
