It always is! That's what I love about the more provincial airports rather than the larger main hubs like Fumincino. I was there last year (2023) and it was too much. Totally full on hectic. My head was all over the place with all the thousands of travellers passing through and the maze of corridors, shops etc. My very own one though is nice and quiet even when it is a busy day.

What is the cheapest way to get to middlesbrough from newcastle airport

Take the metro to Newcastle Central Station, then take a train to Middlesbrough

Looks a nice airport, everything London Stansted isn't.
