I’m not the biggest guy in the gym, I’m not the strongest guy in the gym, I’m not the leanest guy in the gym. BUT I am the biggest I’ve ever been, I’m the strongest I’ve ever been, and I’m the leanest I’ve ever been. Thank you guys for helping me fall in love with the journey rather than comparing myself to everyone.

Eager to win the RGB bundle :) Adam, Sal, Justin and to the rest of the mind pump team - You have been instrumental in changing my thought patterns about working out and fitness in general. 1. Cardio: I was a huge cardio guy, who thought that cardio was the only effective way to lose weight and fat. The more cardio I did, the better. You absolutely shattered this belief when you explained about strength training and building muscle mass, which in turn would increase metabolism leading to faster fat loss. 2. Full body workouts: I was told by my 'trainers' that bro splits and pushing yourself to failure on every set was the only way to get big muscles. No pain, no gain right!? You explained about effectiveness of Full Body workouts and how they're beneficial for the average person, because the more frequency, the better the muscle responds, rather than intensity. Also, I love "Leg exercises" finally because I can walk after a full body workout now! 3. Nutrition: You explained about mini cuts, mini bulks and how to cut effectively by maintaining an adequate amount of protein intake. Consuming a gallon of water each day, and most importantly sleeping for 7-8 hours for our bodies to recover fully. Thanks to you, I've been training in the gym consistently for 5+ months now. I tried to workout earlier but couldn't go pass a month, as I used to lose motivation. You explained about having dedication, and just working out even if for 30 mins. Love you guys, and thanks for all the knowledge that you've shared with us all. I've been binging your content since the past couple of months and can't wait for your next videos to drop!

Don’t make “perfect” the enemy of “better.” -Sal The only person I need to beat is the Man in the mirror. He is smarter than me, better looking, faster, stronger, has more endurance, he’s never wrong, his diet is on point, he sleeps better and he’s always 10 steps ahead of me. As long as I’m striving to beat that guy in the mirror, I will reach the level he is at but by then, he’s going to be another 10 steps ahead, always providing new goals. I am always striving to better myself and satisfied knowing I can always get better at something.

Just found out this week we’re expecting baby number four! I was very blessed to have to have only tried for a few months with my husband ❤️ I credit it to my good health and healthy lifestyle in part thanks to Mind Pump! First trimester has got me so tired but still hitting the gym three days a week and doing more hypertrophy work with leaving plenty in the tank. Really listening to my body has been a challenge since I was doing such heavy lifting for progressing for so long. Still keeping my calories up to maintain the muscle while I scale back. I will continue to train the entire pregnancy god willing 😁

I want to thank the Mind Pump team 🙏 You have all helped me stop being so phobic about allowing myself to eat enough to fuel my body. I was doing low calorie for a few years, eating around 2,000 calories a day. I’m now starting to see how counterproductive and harmful to my overall health my past habits were. Now focusing on hypertrophic training while feeding myself well, around 4,000 calories a day. Night and day difference! Growing like a weed in all the right ways! Long-term starve yourself diets to achieve a body composition are truly the enemy.

As a personal trainer approaching his 50s this year, I am thoroughly enjoying Maps Prime pro and Maps symmetry. Addressing mobility and imbalances has been a great focus for me as I have been diagnosed this year with lower right abdomen inguinal hernia. I think this is a result of ignoring a 30 year right knee arthritis issue, and training in different sports without addressing it. Maps Symmetry is highlighting the weakness in my right leg and hip and I love it. Truly humbled. As I progress, I am looking forward to putting on muscle in my 50s with your programs, and would love the combo you guys are giving away. Love from the Gold Coast in Sunny Queensland, Australia!

When I was working as a trainer I would always preach the importance of focusing on building muscle and getting stronger. I would always get a lot of resistance from clients who wanted to “tone up” with high reps circuit training or excessive calorie restrictions. It’s such a tough idea to get into peoples heads that they should focus on building more muscle/getting stronger and eat accordingly if they’re wanting to lose weight. So many people want to focus on “now” results rather than setting themselves up to maintain results later. You guys do a great job of getting that message across and I’m glad you guys are out there doing the damn thing.

I made the mistake back in 2017 when I started intermittent fasting to drop lbs, I was sticking to a 16/8 all the way up to a 20/4 and had amazing weight loss results. Unfortunately, I didn’t come across the info about strength training while cutting so I ended up at 170lbs 6’2 and a dad bod. Now the up side is I managed to make a lifestyle change in the years since and managed to fluctuate between 170-178 lbs. I started weight training in January and have seen amazing results since, “newby gains” . Just really wish I came across your channel back then. Unfortunately, good information is way to hard to find. Your channel and Sean Nalewanyi, have made a huge difference in my fitness journey. There needs to be a better way for newer weight training people to sort thru these channels, and get to the few good ones. Love the channel boys, keep up the great work. 💪🏻

I worked 14 on and 14 off for several years in the oil field. Almost a perfect schedule with exception of having to show up and move the rig. It was great but to Sal's point it was hard with younger kids

I’ve only been following the channel for a couple of months and came to realize how incorrect and the lack of knowledge I had about fitness. Excited to continue to apply what I’m learning in every one of your videos. Great information. Come for the fitness knowledge, stay for Sal’s Twitter rants.

@Adam in regards to the whole 3n1 work schedule for LMNT, over here in Western Australia, many of us work FIFO (fly in fly out) on mine sites with work a variety of swings. Some good ones (2 weeks on 2 weeks off, 8 days on 6 days off) and some less desirable ones (2 and 1, 3 and 1, 4 and 2 etc...) Currently on the 2:1 roster. Definitely good if you're young, single, no responsibilitys or dependents. Can be alot harder if you have a family as you're physically away from them for most of the year.

Hey guyz..just wanted to let you know I benefited tremendously from your videos and I can’t thank you enough…my goal at the beginning of the year was to just lose weight but since stumbling on your channel in February, I changed tactics completely..I am 6ft3 and weighed around 265pounds in January..I started with a drastic calorie deficit and eating only 1800 to 2000 calories a day..while I lost some weight(251), I did not notice big changes in my physique..I started lifting weights again after a 2 year hiatus(covid) and increased my calories to around 2800-3000 calories…weight went back up a little bit but boy oh boy the difference in my physique is just astonishing..note I have been fit before and used to be around 10% bodyfat and muscle memory as you said is a wonderful thing…I will continue down that path for the next 3 months and make some tweaks here and there on my training regimen..thank you guyz!!! You are really a game changer in the fitness industry!!!

I wish I had the rgb bundle. Been at maintenance for like 3 months. Just started cutting this Monday, going to do that for 2 months. Dial in for my clean bulk for 6 months and see if I can add 10 pounds of muscle. I haven’t found the last piece to the puzzle yet but I think this time I’ll get it.

I went to take my CPT and failed it by 5 points. Im disappointed about the exam is that most of the stuff is out dated and I just learn much better when I perform a movement and understand the body better too. Then I found you guys and I learned much more than me reading that thick textbook. Obviously CNS is important and how to body moves, what moves first. But the questions on the exam they don’t ask about CNS. The exercise questions they ask are ridiculous and I have never seen a personal trainer use the exercises from the text book. They need to update to today’s science .

16:45 I used to do this, it’s not that weird, it is a soothing thing like Sal said. I called it cocooning myself. I did it maybe till I was a young teenager? That I grew out of it, every once in a while though, if I’m really tired or cold, I’ll do it as I fall asleep and then kind of unwind it in my sleep. I don’t think you should worry

hey! yall have convinced me i need to hit the gym. i've been doing jiu jitsu for a little over a year and its going ok but i feel like i could really benefit from getting stronger. Now, i've done done class type workouts ( crossfit, spinning, jiu jitsu) but im nervous of walking in to a gym with no plan or doing my own thing. do you have any tips to make a new guy more comfortable walking in to a gym?

I've been so confused on this whole bulking/cutting thing. I'm not sure if I'm skinny fat or just have more fat to get off me. I'm 5'3, 127lbs but I still see belly fat. I managed to lose a lot of weight over the last year & I'm well aware that you can't spot reduce. This is so confusing. I cut down on the cardio as I was doing 30 minutes a day, 6 days a week & 30 mins of light weight lifting. In January I increased weight lifting to about an hour & 15 mins of cardio, 5 days a week. But my mind is fighting against increasing nutrition although I did increase protein to a gram per body weight. Lately I've slowly started to increase my calories to around 2000 cal per the indirect advice from these guys, Lol. Pray for me because I'm scared but I do feel they are the most genuine I've seen on KZread outside a few others.

You sound like you’re on the right path! Eating 2k calories as a woman is a good sign. Is your weight going up or down or staying the same? At your weight, I would recommend you do a small bulk and keep weight lifting. You’ll see the scale go up but you won’t gain a ton of fat. Do like a 3-4 month bulk then reevaluate. If you’re getting stronger and haven’t put on much fat, keep going for another 3-4 months. This excess amount of calories will raise your metabolism and will make cutting that last bit of belly fat much easier! That being said, women tend to store a bit of fat around the reproductive organs so you could be battling Mother Nature. The amount of cutting that it would take to get it off could put you in the unhealthy lean area. Good luck! Sounds like you’re doing great!

Hey, I am a big fan of your content. Can you make a video on how to adjust yourself in everyday life when you are heavier. Lately I've been getting bigger and stronger, I've gained about 25llb, (some muscle, water, fat) but my athletic ability has been completely off. I sometimes have trouble walking, or running. I gained little to no fat, in my bulk phase, but I'm still finding some things difficult. Do you have any advice!! I think a video like this might benefit a lot of people who've gained weight from bodybuilding.
