It's true that it's not really 60kg at all. But weight do change change how they are measured, one of the ways is from what point the force is measured on the hand gripper, more the leverage the easier it is to close. That's why there are different types of measurements but most famous one's are: captains of crush, and gd iron grip. These are costly in India, but their quality is well regarded in the community. I am saving money to buy gd iron 90, as it is easier to manage (space wise).

After watching your video about metal hand gripper I ordered one and I wasn't able to close it in the first try, but after few days of practice and rest days I was able to do it. Now I can do 10 reps of it in a sitting. Already planning to buy gd iron grip 90 or 200lbs usi gripper.

Try to hold it in negative set at the maximum setting you can for 15 to 20 seconds. Do 3-4 sets throughout the day. Take 1 day rest. Or you could to other hand exercises which are more effective, like wrist curl (both ways), finger curls, use fat grips when lifting weights (its a product). There is very good video on youtube about grip strength.

Vaibhav and abhi are right that the build quality on metal grippers are much better, it’s good for beginners and some people do have the strength to break it as well. Plastic cannot sustain that much forces
