My opinion but I disagree. The best wallet in my opinion is the Andar Pilot. First gen. The new pilot that came out is dope but it's missing the front pocket. Looks nice, minimal, cool spring feature for your cards... Price is about 60. Best wallet I have ever had.

my trayvax element in Mississippi mud is 6+ years old and going strong. 😊

I have the Ridge carbon fiber, and my wife has the aluminum, and we both love them. BTW, I use mine with both the money clip & cash strap & it doesn't add any size when I put it in my pocket which is nice. I use the strap for cash, and the clip for receipts, etc. Keep up the great work, love your channel!

I have the Dango M1. I love it. I got it with an extra accessory clip - M1 chassis clip for my bills. The rail can hold my PIV and RFID card when I report for my unit. It can also hold my other IDs and credit cards. Cool and very functional.

I currently own a ridge and love it. definitely beats the old trifold. when I see a minimalist wallet with leather though i think I would prefer that. been looking at the trayvax, ascent, element amd contour. I wish I had a store I could hold all of them in hand lol

@Fast Eddie i went with a money clip. I wasn't lying when I said the leather calls to me though. I now carry a houbeii from das offene meer leather in chocolate and green absolutely love it. my wife used the ridge now lol

In my opinion the M1 is by far the best wallet if price isn't a factor. You can customize it just to your needs and I know they are not cheap but you can also buy parts to replace and fix it and customize. What other wallet offers that? Either way good video and at the end of the day it's just an opinion, buy whatever the hell you wanna buy it's your money lol

Hey Tyler. How's your experience been with the Ridge? I'm leaning towards a minimalistic wallet with RFID and the ridge was the first one I saw online. My initial thoughts were avoid anything with leather for maximum durability. But I'm toying with the idea of the M1 since I scan into work, and I like the look and idea behind the Trayvax even though it has leather.

@@RLinares22 It's been great! I also have the Bellroy Slim Sleeve (which I absolutely love) but something about The Ridge just keeps bringing me back to it. In my opinion it's the perfect wallet. I know people rave about the Trayvax Contour which I'm sure it's great but if you want the most minimalist wallet that's constructed well and does exactly what it says on the tin, you absolutely cannot beat or go wrong with The Ridge. I hope that helps, but honestly any of those wallets would be great choices!

Found your channel and subscribed. I Have been binge watching all your wallet reviews, great videos. I love my Tryvax Ascent Contour price range has kept me away. Saw your Dango A10 and now I am debating the idea of getting one.

After owning both Dango and Trayvax, two different wallets each. Its clear to me I will choose Dango over Trayvax. I use them both but I always keep coming back to Dango because of their options/customization per wallet and modular design, badge holder to wallet not to mention the Ti CNC machining and other accessories offered besides wallets. I will say Trayvax takes it when it comes to the leather for sure though. I do believe you pay more with Dango but you get alot more functionality.

@@ChrispyThings I have the M1 bifold and the A10 pen wallet both in Ti and in D Tex. I purchased the pen card for the M1 bifold because i was so determined to make the M1 hold a pen, which is very possible only with the Bifold inside pocket flap. As far as pens go, i found a better option IMO for both wallets which is the Big Idea Design mini bolt also in Ti. Trayvax wallets are ascent (not sure if i have the spelling correct on that one) and element both in Mississippi Mud. Thx to your channel I have come to learn about both these wallets also I appreciate you still being active/responsive on the comments on your older videos. 😎👍🏻.

@@forgedsteelwrench9249I have been using the M1 Bifold Titanium for 2 years now. The only issue I have with this wallet is the leather. The leather just doesn’t last. Luckily dango has good customer service. They sent me leather replacement twice already. I just ordered the contour titanium last week. Hopefully the leather is better. Let’s see.

I have the frenchie speed wallet mini and its perfect for my needs

I'm impressed with this wallet. My only problem with it is when removing a card say from the center in a store, I would be displaying a lot of cards to view.

I have a Flipside 4 wallet with the Flipsidekick attachment. But since I purchased the Dango T01 TACTICAL BIFOLD WALLET - SPEC-OPS - BLUELINE with Tether.......it is my go to wallet. They are both great products.

My contour in Black and brass got here today. I also returned a ridge today. The contour was worth every single penny.

@@ChrispyThings I already do!! Holding it in bed right now, lol. The ridge was just not intuitive at all. It looked great but didn't FEEL like it was $115. I'd buy a contour a year if I had to. It feels like I got what I paid for. Perhaps my hands are a little too big for the ridge... It definitely would've taken time I didn't want to invest to get specific cards out quickly. The contour I didn't even have to think about. Just natural.

I kinda knew you were gonna choose the Contour - I actually have one myself! I also have the TrayVax Ascent and actually prefer the Ascent over the Contour just because the Ascent is slimmer when the cards are inserted into the wallet (I only use about 7 cards). Great top 5 though👍🏼. Would you say the Dango at your Number 2 was bigger or smaller that the Ascent (if you have ever held one - can’t remember!)?

It’s a little wider than the Ascent because of the chassis. This list could’ve easily been all Trayvax or Dango but there’s been so many great wallets released in the past few years!

The leather on the contour looks very nice, but I can't see this wallet being very functional. When im getting a card out of my wallet I don't want to have to unbutton a strap then sift through all the cards, put them back, then button up the strap. In my opinion the Dango dapper bifold should be there. Keep up the good work!

Ok. Totally between the Trayvac and the Dango. Thank you Very much. Need to look into the Trayvac more. As of now it's the Dango M1 leather for me, but I'm not done. It sucks being cheap!!!👊🏻👍🏻😁🤣

@@ImTheBestDad Totally agree! Just bought the M1 Maverick Single. I dont like that the contour has protruding metal and No pockets. Just me. I'm with you The Dango brother. So torn between the single and bifold, so we shall see!!👍🏻👊🏻

Some good looking fancy gadgets but I don't see any substantial advantages over my basic leather pulltab card sleeve. Don't need RFID protection, don't carry cash, don't collect receipts. Never lost any money to RFID and besides my bank app immediately notifies me of all payments. So I put all my cards to leather sleeve, RFID access card topmost and just wave my card sleeve to door scanners. Good quality sleeves are ~10€, one lasts 2-3 years. 66x100x11mm with 7-8 cards fits nicely in front pocket, together with car fob and earbuds case.

Love your top 5. I own the contour and love it. I really want the Mac rail. Also have the dango with multi tool

Just Jonny here... so I've had my Contour as long as you. The patina is awesome on the leather! And it will last more then 65yrs! yet I have one question for you. All my markings have worn off.... nothing is on the plates anymore! Is that normal? or should I send it back? or be happy to be in a first run where shit happens?

I absolutely agree with your Number 1. Pure style. I love it. Wish Covid would calm down and they offer the Titanium and Brass on their website by the time Christmas comes around. EVERYONE is getting one. Don't worry, i'll win the lotto by then. Still thinking of what i'm going to get embossed on it. I hope this Pandemic doesn't make the shipping time for my new #3 to get here.

I had the Contour at #1 and the Ridge at #2. All around, that's a solid top 5.

I like tracker wallets. But I didn’t include them because I haven’t found one as good as any of these. Plus they make separate tracker cards that can be used with any wallet. 👍🏻

@@ChrispyThings thanks for responding but INNWAY, I think volterman is in my opinion from what I've seen so far is the Roll Royce of wallets with technology built in from what I've seen on KZread people basically take their grandfather's wallet throw a tracker card in it bam this is a tracker wallet. Also they give where to buy & something is wrong with site yes AMAZON also. Thanks for taking time out for me good day.

I have a Flipside 4, also a secrid wallet, with the leather fold case, best ever wallet I have ever used. Secrid is number 1.

My wallet of the decade is my Alpine Swiss Trifold. I've had it for 4 years and it still looks almost new. Plus 2 ID windows. I've never liked the functionality of the minimalist wallets especially when you have a lot of cards.

DJ Kinney - 2 credit cards, 1 debit/ATM card, Driver’s License, Insurance... that’s 5 cards very common for most people. And that’s not counting Work ID, gift cards, business cards, hotel cards, I also find that it’s slimmer to carry my microSD cards for photography, music, and file storage inside a 3-card-thick plastic case than keeping a separate pouch or bag for those... it’s not always credit cards that you have to shuffle through.

I can't wait for my Ascent to come.

The slide wasn’t available when I made this list. Plus when I contacted Aviator to review it (months after I made this video) it still took 6 weeks to arrive to me from Europe. It was right when the current pandemic was in full swing.

Chrispy Things thanks for the reply. Actually just watching your ridge review after a month of use. Would you put the aviator slide in your top 5 now? I like the idea of the money tray, but like the fact that the ridge has a safety band at the bottom.

Ordered the contour ... definitely did not care for it. Not user friendly for card access

I was checking the Contour. I only use 4-5 cards. Does the Contour go well with my number of cards? Also, interested in the Ridge or the Fantom. Any recommendations?

Fantom and ridge are both nice, if you want 4-5 ridge is more compact, I have both I love both I would recommend not buying the money clip of the fantom coz it adds too much bulk, ridge on the other hand is more flexible from 4-10 cards its much practical in more ways, but fantom has the cool factor,

Why the Contour over the M1 rail? Needing to find a Torx Allen to adjust size for more/less cards just seems ridiculous.

Gene Agustin It T02 is basically the T01 in titanium. So as great as those wallets are, Contour is still my pick for best of the last 10 years.

That last wallet looks like a cage for your cards.

I was one of the first people to receive an Akeeni XSTO wallet. They didn’t release that wallet til late 2020. My review of the XSTO came out Oct 25 2020 so it doesn’t qualify

Anytime you have cards rubbing against each other they’re going to get minor scratches. My card does have scratches on it but nothing major and still works great after months of being in this wallet.

I cannot believe ridge came in 3rd !!!

So for the trayvox wallet, do you have to carry a wrench with you to keep adjusting the lock lol.

No. Why would you keep adjusting? You adjust the lock once based on how many cards you carry. I haven’t touched the wrench since I adjusted it the day I bought it.

@@ChrispyThings so everytime you have more cash or less cash you don't have to keep adjusting. I like caring cash with me usually anywhere between 3 to 8 Bill's. Same for if you have to add or subtract cards.

I had a Ridge but I manage to break it. I did like it. Construction tool and wallet don t make a good mixe :P. The only thing I didn t like was the clip. The one I have is very similar but a Dango.

😂I just got RIDGE TITANIUM but I think DANGO is the best ,wish I can find my RIDGE 📦 to return it.

Can anybody else vouch for the Apollo? Not that I don’t trust this guy but I just want to know exactly what I’m spending 55 bucks on

You say that price has nothing to do with you’re evaluation of the best wallet, then the first reason you give for the Andar being on the the list is at $55 you can’t beat the VALUE. That kills your credibility and I have zero desire to see the rest of your list
