Great video! I’m holding all my Kobe refractors currently. Could of cashed out last month but I think they still have room to grow over time. Jordan 86 Fleer keeps growing, think Kobe will be the same.

Awesome card to pick! Congrats. It’s not a rookie of course, but that’s an awesome insert of Kobe. I think you got a solid price if it’s in good condition. I would get it graded as well. Those 90s basketball inserts are becoming more and more popular.

Josh Lane the precious metals one looks all silver and metallic. The base one has more colors in the metal imaging

The Topps Chrome is turning green and I am yet to find out why. Eventually they would all turn green? What about the refractors? Due to the uncertainty, I've sold both of my Topps Chrome psa 10 and refractors psa 10. However, I kept the Topps bgs 10 and Topps 50th (foil) psa 10.

The turning green problem is a valid concern for the chrome set that year, I don't think the refractors have as bad of a problem. The 50th foil version is a great option for sure! thanks for the comment

I own one that did not make your list.could be the rarest of them all.i chose not to send it in to anyone until I know what I have.also when I tried calling PSA for a few questions the lady was a bit sassy helping me to decide to wait longer and investigate more

Any established Legends are good long term investments, Jordan, Kobe, Lebron etc in Basketball. Ruth, Mantle, Aaron, Mays etc in baseball.

Ryne Read a lot of people probably went on a buying frenzy after his death. It will continue to go up and down. But I think Kobe is a safe one to buy long term. He will always be know as one of the great legends of the NBA and will raise in value over the years.

Where is the price drop? Chrome refractors are going for 20k plus and i don’t see any Kobe cards for less than 500 graded on eBay currently..

I need to get my skybox premium #55 graded

Yeah when Kobe's Helo Pilot decided to play russian Roulette with Kobe and crew lives then these prices became obsolete.
