Idk if the usbc port is an upgrade, I have all these cables for my equipment that doesn’t have the same port already and now I need to buy an even longer Usbc for it because the one in the box is short it would of been great if they just included the usbc instead of removing the normal port that I use for literally all my controllers if I’m not using a 5 pinDin

For someone who is a massive fan of composers and film scores BUT also electronic music and would like to create both...would this be of use to me?

To your point at the very end of the vid if you had to choose between the minilab 3 (25 keys w/ better feel and analog lab) and the m-audio oxygen pro mini (32 keys no analog lab but more convenience features on the board & more keys) which one would be the better keyboard for a casual user in logic pro? Thanks!

Hows it going ? What programme do you use it with it? Looking to get it for FL Studio use.... ive currently got the LPK25 but the keys are too flimsy and I always hit another key unintentionally which makes me retake the recording. This Arturia looks promising...

Either getting this or the MicroLab for my 1st controller.

What'd you do with?

I think we will see a new version of the 49 and 61 keys soon. Why do i think so? #1 the addition of usb C. #2 the knobs are not the same style. #3 the colorway is diff. #4 the shape of the keyboard is diff. #5 the writing on the pads is diff. #6 the logo on the side is diff. The new Minilab 3 just doesn't match the the aesthetic of the 49 and 61 like the like the Minilab MK 2 did. I just realized they dropped MK out of the name.

So one question. What is the point of the midi out. Sound out to a audio interface? I'm looking to buy the 88 key version but I'm hoping I can plug it into my Interface so I can direct monitor it and play it on zoom for piano lessons.

If you're a Beginner....Keep focus on the devices which are providing more SOFTWARE FEATURES... (me also a Beginner...at this time I suggest you the MINILAB 3 ) ...Surely I will buy DMK25 PRO...but LATER... not now. Its just my opinion..

Donner Dmk 25 pro is Better than akai (my preference)... donner dmk 25 pro is fully packed with lot of features than akai (donner got scale mode, chord mode, aftertouch, Transport control buttons which are not available on akai... but all akai features available on donner keyboards...) .... Akai Controllers are just Fine... Easy to handle & very popular product... also compatible with most daws ..(donner do that too ).... My suggestion... search youtube or any websites with product names of those and see & read Reviews, Videos (including playing the keyboard) , User Experiences ...ALL ... you will find a better option from all among other options.... and also look at the pictures... see how they look like too... YOUR CHOICE ALSO A GOOD ONE... NOTHING WRONG ABOUT IT... I LOVE AKAI CONTROLLERS TOO... ALL THING DEPENDS ON SKILLS... CONTROLLERS JUST ONLY HELPING YOU... (sorry for language issues...I m not a pro englishman)

exactly the model to version has more colder's and it's at 80, there's no point in wasting your money on this! and on top of that if you can spend a 100 why not spend another 30 to 40 more and get you the 49 version with way more features 😆

Just another con the pads are more less in a horrible format especially if you finger drum. The Akai MPK Mini m3 is better if you want better pads.

let's get real no matter how you look at it it's a clear downgrade from the second model imo 👎🏾
