    your "drone" can't withstand the wind, i know i know... that's why we need a drone to capture the "mystery" so here's a wind fact : Wind is the flow of gases on a large scale. On the surface of the Earth, wind consists of the bulk movement of air. In outer space, solar wind is the movement of gases or charged particles from the Sun through space, while planetary wind is the outgassing of light chemical elements from a planet's atmosphere into space. Winds are commonly classified by their spatial scale, their speed, the types of forces that cause them, the regions in which they occur, and their effect. The strongest observed winds on a planet in the Solar System occur on Neptune and Saturn. Winds have various aspects: velocity (wind speed); the density of the gas involved; energy content or wind energy. Wind is also an important means of transportation for seeds and small birds; with time things can travel thousands of miles in the wind. In meteorology, winds are often referred to according to their strength, and the direction from which the wind is blowing. Short bursts of high-speed wind are termed gusts. Strong winds of intermediate duration (around one minute) are termed squalls. Long-duration winds have various names associated with their average strength, such as breeze, gale, storm, and hurricane. Wind occurs on a range of scales, from thunderstorm flows lasting tens of minutes, to local breezes generated by heating of land surfaces and lasting a few hours, to global winds resulting from the difference in absorption of solar energy between the climate zones on Earth. The two main causes of large-scale atmospheric circulation are the differential heating between the equator and the poles, and the rotation of the planet (Coriolis effect). Within the tropics, thermal low circulations over terrain and high plateaus can drive monsoon circulations. In coastal areas the sea breeze/land breeze cycle can define local winds; in areas that have variable terrain, mountain and valley breezes can dominate local winds. In human civilization, the concept of wind has been explored in mythology, influenced the events of history, expanded the range of transport and warfare, and provided a power source for mechanical work, electricity and recreation. Wind powers the voyages of sailing ships across Earth's oceans. Hot air balloons use the wind to take short trips, and powered flight uses it to increase lift and reduce fuel consumption. Areas of wind shear caused by various weather phenomena can lead to dangerous situations for aircraft. When winds become strong, trees and human-made structures are damaged or destroyed. Winds can shape landforms, via a variety of aeolian processes such as the formation of fertile soils, such as loess, and by erosion. Dust from large deserts can be moved great distances from its source region by the prevailing winds; winds that are accelerated by rough topography and associated with dust outbreaks have been assigned regional names in various parts of the world because of their significant effects on those regions. Wind also affects the spread of wildfires. Winds can disperse seeds from various plants, enabling the survival and dispersal of those plant species, as well as flying insect populations. When combined with cold temperatures, wind has a negative impact on livestock. Wind affects animals' food stores, as well as their hunting and defensive strategies.

    I do have a theory myself, you see, I had to do a project on Bermuda Triangle and I found A LOT. It is home to the Milwaukee Depth which is the deepest part of the Atlantic, The area of the Triangle is between 500 and 1,500,000 miles. Nobody knows for certain. Storms are very common there because hot winds up from Puerto Rico and cold winds down from Canada make a big storm. Storms can create rogue waves which a can be 100 feet high. The Bermuda Triangle is also home to the Gulf Stream which runs miles. Also, the El Faro was destroyed by a hurricane and found using underwater robots. Scientists believe storms are the most common reason. One dude was in a plane and flew through this funnel looking cloud and came out of it and claims he flew farther than he thought was possible.

  • @puestocero
    @puestocero3 жыл бұрын

    We were sailing just south of Bermuda in early 1990 when we were hit by what was described as " an active cold front" . We knew it was coming so came to no harm under storm canvas but the wind completely reversed direction and went from a gentle breeze to hurricane force in just a few seconds. The waves were enormous and very confused. Many yachts near us suffered damage and or lost crew overboard. Some were never heard of again. Bermuda harbour radio were so very professional dealing with the situation trying to contact all the yachts that had left Antigua a week earlier and inbound when the front arrived. Cannot thank them enough. They called us to ask whether we had survived the storm. Reckon the ferocity of the cold fronts leaving the Florida coast are the main cause of so many losses.

    I sailed through Bermuda Triangle , on board Bulk Carrier " MV. Brilliant Venture - Call Sign VRLQ" in 1983. - I was the Radio Officer on this ship. - The Sea was very rough and the ship was rolling but no other special incident. I am thankful that I am still alive to tell my story. What I think that happens there is a Methane Gas field in this area under the sea bed, that become active and erupt from time to time. When that happens the gas shoots up through the water into the air and when it goes down it drags down anything and everything that is within its field, down to the bottom of the Sea. That was my own experience. - ( I am Calvin Fernando/4S7CF. Retired from the Merchant Navy and Now living in Colombo, Sri Lanka.).

    I served in the US navy from 1971 until1975. The summer of 74 we were doing flight training in that area. The night this happened I had not heard of the triangle. If you have ever been out to sea at night the Milky Way looks like a distance city on the horizon. There were no stars in the sky that night. Every compass I looked at was spinning tilting and changing directions. We were in a flat calm sea. By the size of the wake of the ship was making we were traveling at about 4 knots. You could not feel wind on your face.. At around 6 am it was full day light. We were in a vapor. You do not get fog at sea in high 80 dree temps. Where the vapor was touching the water it was milky blue, not gray green. You could not see the sun. We were getting no whit caps or breaking waves. At around 11:00 am we pulled out of the vapor. As it faded out the sea started getting darker until the water was no longer being touched by the vapor. When the ship was clear of the vapor we we had wind on our faces white caps and the compasses returned to normal. I did make one foolish mistake. I took photos of the dividing ling but , I left my lens cap on my camera and I didn't think to rewind my film. I will go to my grave declaring this is true. Carl

    @@pikaboo623 Look at a weather map of the region. You have the West to East flow from North America, The East to West Flow from Western Africa ( Hurricane birth place) then just south of that a Carribbean flow going from West to East also. Given the large number of variables, upper air temp, wind speed, barometric pressure, etc. These three systems run into each other and effect each other in the Area known as the Sargasso Sea 🌊. Where the airflow and ocean currents tumaultuously combine. Look at old sailors paintings. These weather systems send large swells , at sea. To the North, South, and westerly directions all at the same time. When they come together, it's like your sitting inside a bowl 🥣, who's walls are made of water. A boat has to hit the swell at a 40° angel or it risks capsizing. So image the need to hit swells from 3 different directions at 40° every time. It's very difficult. I know because I survived the experience in an 18' wooden Fishing boat I was diving from in the triangle. At Desecheo Island. Trying to hit all the swells right, got my boat airborne over and over again until it broke. I was lucky and had enough fuel to keep it moving , I had to.unplug the Stearn to keep the water that was leaking in, leaking right back out. My friends sent a Coast Guard boat out to look.for me. I have been on these rescue missions myself. Usually there is only a body to recover.

    The rate of disappearances or "mysterious" disappearances is no higher in the Bermuda Triangle than in any other area of the ocean, per traffic level. The area is one of the most heavily trafficked stretches of sea and air in the world. It includes a number of popular island destinations; a heavily populated part of Florida; and is traversed when traveling between the Atlantic, the Carribean Sea, and the Gulf of Mexico. The area is also prone to hurricanes and tropical storms. With the heavy traffic the regions sees some accidents are going to happen. Although the incidents within the Triangle may seem like a large number, they're really a very small percentage of all traffic through the Triangle. Those who believe that the Triangle is special are falling into what's called Confirmation Bias. By ignoring the heavy traffic and all the safe passage that happens in the area they can only see the number of incidents. This lets them "confirm" what they already believed, that they do happen. It ignores the fact that incidents are still rare, and are no more likely than anywhere else in the world.

  • @spencer03-g46

    The reason it has such a high amount of ships and planes disappearing there is because it’s one of the most frequented areas for ships and planes on their routes so of course it’s going to have more disappearances and accidents than other places.

    Here's an idea that I doubt would happen any time soon: How about we use boats outlining the Bermuda triangle some of which are equipped with high spec telescopes and binoculars. And send a plane at a high enough attitude so if the plane were to stop working they would have enough time to parachute out of there before it crashes. Then send in rescue boats to recover the brave pilots. And while all of that is going on have multiple teams from the outline alone keeping tabs on the plane and boat with the high spec telescopes and binoculars. That way if anything unusual happens there wouldn't be just one eye witness but a few hundred. Now the reason why I say this idea is unlikely is due to a few things. One, I have no clue how many people would have to be on board with this idea to make it even possible. Two, no idea how much money it would take to get everything in place. Three, the weather would play a big part especially if you're in the boats that are further out in the ocean. Four, and how many boats would even be needed to accomplish everything. With all the factors adding up I doubt it would be possible. At least in this current day and age. Maybe some time in the future this idea could be implemented but until then it'll probably stay a mystery. Also if you want to use this theory in a video be sure to give me credit in some way either to my KZread channel or to my TikTok (trickymist_yt)
