I have a 30" Browning Superposed trap gun from 1954. I also have a 32" Beretta 694 purchased in 2021. I like them both equally well, and wouldn't want to give up either one.
I have a Beretta 694 with the B-fast system. My shotgun had a perfect 50:50 balance. I didn't have to use weights. I had a brief stint with Browning. Not my story.
Your channel is indeed exceptionally helpful.
Helps if you hold the Beretta on the hinge pins rather than half way along the action belly to judge the balance, also Beretta don’t believe in fitting super figured walnut to a competition tool, they only tend to fit high grade to their higher grade game guns and EELL, SO ranges where it’s a higher priority to the game shot.
David good filming but we cannot see the clays or them being hit is there any chance of overcoming this problem please thank you.
I prefer the 694 because I like the handling of it an it doesn't obscure the vision of your target as much which I think is a very nice feature 👍
Enjoyed your comments on barrel lengths, weight of gun and watching the differences in recoil on your shoulder
Great stuff David. Thank you again.
The 694 also comes in a 31" as well and I have one and it came with balance weights.

That's the one I have 31"sporter with tram line which they call std now.
Nice format with the 2 cameras. I like the comparison between similar guns that are setup for the same games. Would you be able to add in comparisons between the 725 and XS, the 725 and 694, the Yildiz and XS, Yildiz and 694, Yildiz and 725? I'm sure I'm missing a number of guns but these would appear to be the popular choices in the price point they all reside in. Thanks again.
David, great video. One of the biggest differences between these two guns is the fit. The Browning has a very straight stock so if you need some cast off you’ll need to put some significant adjustment on the Combe to get it to fit. The Beretta has more cast off out of the box. My Adjustable 694 also came with the B-fast stock weights but was already perfectly balanced. Two great guns just pick the one that you get the best fit on and gives the handling you like..
Thankyou for this video i was looking for this exact comparison 👏🏼👏🏼
I had a Beretta 691 which I had a couple of problems with, I now have a Browning 525 which I think the build quality is a lot better.

Good Man I love Browning Plus their triggers are terrific
I'm not a competitive shooter and wouldn't invest that much into a shotgun, but I enjoy watching these videos. I would opt for a gun at about half that price.
Bought a 694 adjustable with 32inch barrels in may2022. Awesome gun, love it. Shoots great. Only ejector problems were with some really cheap cartridges- cartridge fault not gun.
I love your video’s keep them coming.
Im interested in seeing a comparison of 5 competition guns and 5 different skill level shooters. Each shooter rating their favourite and best value. K80, DT11, 694, F3 Browning. If more are possible, then that's great. I'd suggest shooting skeet rather than sporting, The reason been consistent targets for comparing scores of shooter/gun.
Browning wood looks class the Beretta wood looks like a chunk of beech. And you can pay extra for all the Beretta bits. While the browning has all the bits included. Pay less get more pay more get less. I have owned berretta's Now 🤔I own a Browning 🙂 and its the best gun i have ever owned for sporting clays.
great comparison, good presentation. I miss the direct comparison of technical features in this type of comparison.
Great video. If in doubt...buy both !!!😄😄
Really like this review and the Picture in Picture video style
Fantastisk beretta 694 skyder super
David, good video. I would talk about trigger-pull quality and felt recoil as additional factors. Also, at least to my eyes, the clays you shot were not visible. Perry Pappous, California, zuSA
David, it would be really helpful and useful if, on all your videos, you would elaborate and say what choke combinations you use and also which cartridges you are shooting with.
Have a 694 ACS . Love the way it handles
I'm liking the new new way of filming and editing with two cameras used - David, are you in need of a razor? I'll bring you one next time I come into OGC.

694 all the way. 31inch
Maybe just me but would like to see the clays break or not as the case may be.Otherwise good informative comparison between the two guns.
I’ve shot mostly Beretta and some a Superposed and didn’t see much difference. I liked that the Browning had better wood and engraving. My question, since a uniform pattern is the most important feature, why don’t manufacturers provide examples or stats of how their guns pattern?
Nice review David I would of gone Pro sport vs 694 as there more like for like. I would say.

Tengo una buena pregunta para usted, estoy interesado en adquirir una beretta 694 o una blaser f16.Cual piensa que es mejor para una persona delgada?
Would like to see browning XS pro versus browning pro sport
I don't wish to or mean to be overly critical but you said about the Browning that you recommend the 30 inch version because the 32 inch would be barrel heavy yet it comes with the balancing kit and conversely you recommended the Beretta, a gun you demonstrated as barrel heavy and not coming with balancing kit, as being better balanced in 32 inch. As I said I don't wish to be critical but I am confused on this issue
@borjastick

Well said. I get quite confused about a lot of what he says. Things like showing a gun which is clearly not balanced at the hinge but says it is. Does it all the time. The camera boy needs to act more as the director too and check what is being said and how David looks . Today his tie was not done up and he kept repeating the same facts or points. Needs to slow down a little and have some sort of script or bullet points to follow.

I have TOZ 34 P underover shotgun please explain about it in your next video Thanks
Is there much difference in cast?
694 mine came with balance weights but no spare triggers and trap fore end
Browning everytime. Based on price and quality 👌. I've shot both. I've had berettas over the years and had ejector problems and troubles opening one which jammed shut. Never had a problem with Browning.

In my opinion the Beretta 694 is the far superior shotgun here. The ergonomics or the beretta is way better also better balance and handles the recoil better.
Comes in 31" too (Beretta)
694 All day long
Your price comparison is a little bit out browning £3717 Berretta adj comb £3864. The 694 does come with stock weights. I've used both and found the XS quite heavy in the hands, requiring more effort to get moving and not very instinctive to shoot, more suited to gun up shooting. The 694 carries some weight but feels more balanced between the hands, and I feel more suited to a fluid style of shooting. I shoot 90+% of the time from a gun down position, and like a flat shooting gun. So I feel the 694 is more suited to this style. Also, I think it is easier to quickly change direction with the 694 on tricky sim pairs, where a snap shot is required for the second bird. The design of the 694 is nice in my eyes, with the offset top leaver and a rakish forend, it looks like it can do the job. As you can tell I have a 694 which I've had for a fairly short time and I am getting to grips with the way it shoots.

If I had the money to buy one of these guns it would be the Browning I just think you get more for your money. Does an expensive gun make you shoot better? ,A very good review and comparison David. I enjoy your gun reviews.
@markjohnson5137
Жыл бұрын
@@stevekennerley2208 It's not so much how much you get for your money, it's more how the gun feels to you. The XS comes with 8 chokes, but I rarely go above 1/2 ch, good enough for 70 yd crossers, normally use sk/cyl or 1/4. Clay shooting, you only have to break it not destroy it. I've used the same 686 28 inch for the past 37 years, but now I'm getting older and slower, I wanted a gun that's more predictable and controllable but still with the ability to hit targets quickly. If I hit 7/10 then I'm doing something wrong and it's down to me, 9/10 it's a consistency problem. I feel the 694 gives me better repeatability to attain more 10/10. So a more expensive gun doesn't make you shoot better, but may give you a few percentages on your score, the difference of 97/100 to 99/100. I also like Davids channel, but note his sponsors.
Browning far more reliable, had two 694's both had ejector problems along with other issues.very dissapointed with this model from Beretta.

Ver vas yor finger on the Beretta not too back hevy the finger🤣🤣
Not sure about this review the Beretta 694 is perfectly balanced from the factory. The Beretta patterns better and handles the recoil better. The ergonomics of the Beretta is far superior. Demo and shoot both for yourself.
Please say the price for us the por people.
I shoot a Browning Citori made in 2000. Just pound away at them clays with no problems. For a new shooter that's going through a lot shells in a week, they need a reliable gun.
