The Bentley Continental is a grand touring car manufactured and marketed by the British company Bentley Motors since 2003 as a two-door coupé or convertible. It was the first Bentley released after the company's acquisition by Volkswagen AG in 1998, and the first Bentley to employ mass production manufacturing techniques. It was later joined by the Bentley Continental Flying Spur, a four-door saloon car variant.
In February 2009, Bentley announced a limited production of the Bentley Continental Supersports. The car was unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, announced by Jay Leno, to be available in autumn 2009 worldwide, followed by FlexFuel-compatible models in North America by summer 2010. It is the first Bentley capable of running on both motor spirit and biofuel (E85 ethanol), its 6.0 L W12 engine is rated 621 bhp at 6,000 rpm, however the car is this content has an upgraded 700 hp. The car can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds and 0 to 99.4 mph in 8.9 seconds, with a top speed of 205.1 mph. This made it the fastest and the most powerful production Bentley ever at that time.
