That’s something I noticed, too. My record jump in FH5 is just shy of 1000m, but the world record (IRL) is hardly over 100m.

I do hope Motorfest addresses the sense of speed issue in future updates. Its a full-on arcade game, so they can really go crazy with it. One of my favorite methods was when streaks of air would flow off of your wings and mirrors in NFS. Made your car feel like a fighter jet.

Not sure if you guys noticed and while I agree that the fov of FH5 is smaller both cars were driving at different speeds. TCM= 170 kmh and FH5= 170 mph or (273 kmh). Love you goose just pointing that out just in case.

I haven't played much of Motorfest but entirely agree with you on this video. I think Forza have to put some MAJOR WORK in for Horizon 6, so much in fact I think it will be a series reboot like the new Motorsport.

They definitely will do a pretty substantial overhaul, as it’s tradition for them to adopt the new Forza Motorsport physics engine in the next Horizon title.

Honestly fh5 is great with the freedom of what can we do while the crew it’s kinda limited until we complete the particular playlist for the first time, what i trying to say is that i wish we can use our car in a race in the crew instantly instead of completing that one playlist once. Car wise the crew have more fun vehicle collection like formula 1 cars, custom race cars and of course planes and boats while fh5 have more diverse of car but only car. The crew map is quite refreshing after playing fh5 quite alot. But yeah this is my thoughts.

@@xcw_1127 did you read my comment at all? i was talking abt that they've copypasted those rims throughout 2 games later and most of those rims are ugly and outdated as hell, since they've made those rims for tc1, and tc1 was released in 2014(!!!) and most importantly there is no option to choose material of a rims but this is possible to add this feature for them cuz in a game many stock rims on different cars have matte paint for example, so whats the problem for them to add this feature i dont even know?? i was hoping that they will make this option in TCM but we still don't have it. and all that said, i dont even talk about painting different rims in different colours for more customizability.

So i remeber when you first started goosiest. I did leave when you did start sum main stream stuff like the setup videos which i like but the thumbnails started to drift me away. Along with the drift clips. Glad your still doing well and continue to prosper. I may come back to watch but itll be more of the gameplay videos or just drifting and having fun in pubs. Great content goosiet and keep going.

My one gripe with Motorfest is when you do FEATS, the traffic stays on screen while in Forza, it ghosts. I think it's a simple enough change for Ubisoft to make the traffic become ghosted while you do FEATS.

some like it, like me, some don't. i find it more challenging to actually do certain feat with the ai still physical instead of shit ghost, never was fan of that in FH

In motorfest I noticed that the speed is different when you look at the dial in the car. I was in The challenger and I was going 130mph but the dial in the car said 108mph

I just got my first wheel. Would you suggest that I get a shifter or an handbrake first? I will eventually have both but I can't buy them both right now.

I love Motorfest. I wasn't a huge fan of The Crew 2 so I thought TCM would disappoint me as well. After playing the beta and trial, IT DID NOT. It is super fun and honestly, feels like breathe of fresh air in the racing world. Everyday I get on it, there is always something to do and you can't go wrong with the chaotic Grand Race. I never played Forza so I can't say much on it, but TCM is REALLY FUN!

Forza does get boring really fast. The maps in 4 and 5 are smaller compared to The Crew 2 and Motorfest, and there's fuck all to do in Forza. The argument of Forza having more cars doesn't hold up because when you upgrade any vehicle it becomes the exact same thing as every other car. Cars have no identity, and are basically just shells with swapped engines on the inside. Multiplayer is ass too and people only drive OP cars and your selection of vehicles is limited by the events. D, C and X class multiplayer races don't even exist, so hundreds of cars already go out the window in terms of what you can select. Cars in Crew 2 and Motorfest, on the other hand, have identity. And you can customize them all you want, both visually and performance wise. But they never stop feeling like themselves once you upgrade the performance: it's not just a '69 Mustang shell with a fucking V12 swap that can smoke Ferraris and Porsches like in Horizon - it's your own car that you've seemingly built from the ground up, part by part. When you put your soul into your car you can turn it into the best car ever. In Horizon you can spend 5 hours tuning your vehicle, but if the devs intended it to be garbage - there's literally nothing you can do, and no amount of polishing a turd will fix that. The only thing that's sorta better in Forza is the "simcade" style of physics and handling. But what good is the handling of a car when most of them suck and the game is boring?

Forza wins the most important things for me. I play on G29. I drive is the cocpit view (interior, but just dashboard). If the finally made 900° or 1080° interior steering wheel, I'd be very happy.

If it's physics to me that's not even close to being the most important, you want good physic, you go play an actual sim racing game, an open world game first requirment is the world we will evolve in, which forza didn't manage to properly do since FH2

@@SomKing123 it definitely doesn't feel like NFS, you can actually try the game out for i believe 5h or smth, as a diehard fan of FH, yeah i wish we had the FH5 physic in Motorfest but i'm enjoying my time in Motorfest more than i ever did in FH5 so. There is a good amount of content, i'm not gonna list it but i'm having fun personaly and i wish FH6 will be good because god i hate what they've done with FH5 Overall if you played TC2 and hated the physic just know that it's totally different.

@@kannonfps I don't like the Motorfest graphics. In FH5 the map could be better, more narrow roads, bigger cities, more hill roads and serpentines, more things to explore in forests, but I like it. One of the biggest things I hate on Forza Horizon 5 is the maximun track lenght. Only 64 kilometers.

6:00 there's a trick with Motorfest jumps, NOS into the jump and during for more distance, there's even a Trait for Nitro Jump in the player Legend points table and affixes on parts to make it even better. I made a AeroForced Lambo fly like a plane with a medium sized jump in Motorfest. Yes it's still garbage compared to hitting 300MPH on a jump in the Jesko in FH5 that sends you like 3000 yards, but still lol. Also, Sir George of the Jungle, WATCH OUT FOR THAT TREE! lolol i had to say it.

Motorfest is great game but there have a big problem. When you want to play with 3 or 4, it will keep disconnected. It is very annoying. Hope they will fix it someday.

It's true that more customization options would be very useful, for example the engine compartment, painting the engine covers, removing the body - front bumper, hood. And in general, more cooperation with brands like Liberty Walk, because in Forza itself there are maybe a few cars that can be equipped with this extension package (Lyberty Walk)

can you change the keybinding for handbrake in motorfest? if so motorfest wins then.

I hope this will push the Forza devs to do better. The director changed as far as I understand, so hopefully given how much better the team has been doing since, Forza Horizon 6 will be a worthier rival.

I’ve played all the crew games I’ve been playing for years, I’ve never played forza though, so I’d have to choose the crew obviously, but goosiest if you had to pick witch game you could never play again would it be forza or the crew?

The crew is a mixup of NFS and Forza Horizen in a good way, and I love it

well what does it for me is the car sounds which are on point in crew and when you put music on and drive you feel like you are in the car and actually riding ... which is awesome

I like both games but motorfest is more fun especially grand races.

yeah, i played a LOT of FH, FH3/4/5 for a long time, i've defended them for years but fuck this license now, unless FH6 is a god tier game with an insane map and insane content i think they should just sell everything and go live under a rock. i'm tired of seeing them wasting the limitless potential of FH

I have 100 hours in Motorfest and 900 in FH5. My absolute favourite driving game hands down is assetto corsa and I play it in VR using a wheel. Some of the 'missions' (most of the missions) in Motorfest, are FAR MORE compelling and entertaining than anything FH5 has to offer. But when cruising with mates, drag racing, drifting etc. FH5 is KING! Summary: If you don't have both, you failed at life

I think in The Crew 2 the mirrors it works as well I don't know what happened on The Crew Motorfest (the first The Crew game don't had much details in interiors so having a difficult decision to put new variety in the game engine is fine because of its limitations) 3:32

Goosiest make sure you have drift assist turned off, I've heard it improves the feel a lot when playing with a steering wheel

For Forza Horizon, Playground Games really needs to put more effort into the content provided for the game. Yes, there are good physics but everything else is an afterthought and rushed. Lack of interesting things to do, less variety with customization (looking at you Forza aero), and the AI is inconsistent on how hard or how easy they are to racing against. The Crew got most of the issues right, the only thing left is a brand new engine for which I heard Ivory Tower team is currently learning how to use the brand new Snowdrop engine Ubisoft engineers had cooking up for next gen. With that new engine they should finally be able to implement the functional mirrors while still improving on the physics they learned so far based on proper feedback. Edit: Forgot to add about Forza, for the love of god stop pushing for family friendly E rating on this game. The soundtrack is unbearable due to so much censorship with too many songs like Music festival isn’t for kids below 18 you know. Should’ve stayed with the same tone that of Horizon 1.

Forza does good with listening to our requests as theyve added a load of cars that the community wanted, Forza also gives you more freedom of tuning and upgrading. Motorfest is decent on some of the factors you mentioned but Forza is king when it comes to car details and realism

Ubisoft should make a realistic physics and graphics racing game, a proper car sim! Build the engine specifically for it, then use that knowledge and engine for the next The Crew installment.

I don’t know about the mirrors not supported by the game engine. Cause i could’ve sworn they were working during the first Insider Program. It was one of the first things i noticed, along with the working headlights. Maybe they decided to remove it due to performance issues?

Goosiest!!, I think you forgot to select the same units of speed in forza horizon 5, You were looking at Kmh in the crew and in forza on the bottom right it said Mph! (4:11 - 4:25)

I really want the next forza horizon game to add motorbikes. That would be coolest thing ever urgh. That, and to have a better map. FH4's map was amazing, idk what happened during FH5. 1:30 It is in forza too, but only in select cars by default, and if you change the transmission into a 10 speed, the whine is audible, not sure about the 7, 8 or 9 speed though.

I think Motorfest should add more cars, like the SVJ. Motorfest also has a lot of glitches, sometimes my crewmates despawn at random. otherwise, the game is great!

As a person who started on the crew 1 I like how far ivory tower has come and is the better crew game

I like the crew 2 I don’t play the motorfest or fh5 so I do like the crew but when are u going use the dd wheel

myu motorfest experience: 1) spend 50 eur on sale 2) launch game 3) disconnect from servers while running graphics benchmark 4) unskippable 30 min tutorial 5) uplay overlay stuck over game 6) after restarting game finaly i get to drive a car 7) game stutters/ freezes every 3 seconds. 8) spend 1 hour changing settings, drivers, updates, googling - nothing works + servers disconnects during benchmakrs in settings menu. 9) ubisoft denies refund

Also the main difference for me is that in Motorfest you don't have flames coming out of the car exhaust. 😢

On wheel its alot more difficult to drift on motorfest, on controller on the other hand its really easy, although if you have good settings for wheel, its also easy, and forza players need to get used to it, i was also good in drifting on the crew 2.

What I have found is that if you turn down Ur drift assist the car physics are slightly better. Forza is still far ahead
