I reverted almost 4yrs ago. Alhamdulillah i am learning my 19th & 20th Surah!! I am so happy and thankful for Islam! What a beautiful way of life!❤

Today I changed my life and truly feel at peace. Today I took my shahada this has been the best feeling in my heart the decision I have ever made.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “Whoever fasts the months of Ramadan the follows it with six days of fasting in the months of Shawwal, it will be as if he had fasted the year through.” (Sahih Muslim.)

He prayed: “My Lord! indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me,” So (Allah) forgave him: for He is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Quran 28:16) 🤍

Mashallah, im also a Muslim but i want to become 💯 Muslim, Im not preaching but please don't mind me if i say something. I was once lost but islaam taught me how to live, it taught me discipline, it taught me how to eat,sleep,talk and walk, it taught me how to be consistent by washing 5 times a day to prayer. Im not perfect but im still practicing until allah is pleased with me

Converting is to become a muslim but revert is a person who is already converted to Islam.

@Njiemomodou I personally think REVERT is the correct tern.. Those who prefer the term "revert" do so based on the Muslim belief that all people are born with a natural faith in God. According to Islam, children are born with an innate sense of submission to God, which is called the fitrah. Their parents may then raise them in a particular faith community, and they grow up to be Christians, Buddhists, etc. The Prophet Muhammad once said: "No child is born except upon fitrah (i.e. as a Muslim). It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a polytheist." (Sahih Muslim). Some people, then, see their embrace of Islam as a "return" back to this original, pure faith in our Creator. A common definition of the word "revert" is to "return to a former condition or belief." A revert is returning back to that innate faith to which they were connected as young children before being away..

No,, convert is to embracing new belief and leaving the belief that you were born with. And revert means a person who was a Muslim, then got astray and then again embraced Islam

It's a term that can be either or. For some, it's easier to say convert. To others, it's easier to say revert. There's no difference except p.o.v.
