OMG, yes, relearning all the names of the pieces (especially that aircon piece) has been a struggle. And I suck at lighting, haha, sorry! I'm so glad to see this back on your channel. Even though the game is kinda ugly these days, there's an undeniable charm that PlanCo has, especially with guests. I'm excited for you to finish the project! Finishing a park feels SO GOOD. I love seeing the two of you back these days. Recently going through a breakup and stuff has pushed me back to your content and it's been making me so happy to hear your voice again and now with @Geekism... Lots of nostalgia, like covering up with a warm blanket.

Oooh, I got to the bit where you need me!!! WOOO! You have 2 choices for that spot.. You can either throw in some "above the waterline" concrete footers. No needing needed because your waterline isn't in use for anything / any-one. That's your cheapest, jankest option... OR.. you can change the pad of that quay to come out and capture that turn around in a sort of half-hexagon shape.. but it ruins your whole "straight quay" idea. It stands to reason that they might have done that, particularly if a round ride might have been there before the coaster was?

Just to hijack this comment too... for the second option by adding the half hex of concrete kinda looks like they laid the foundation then realised the ride was bigger than they thought when they bought it, so had to quickly add it on. Maybe make it a slightly different colour to show that?

All of the Planco people are coming back and I feel so nostalgic and proud the community seems to be growing again. One of my all time favorite games. I used to get so much inspiration from your parks. Glad to see you back!

They came back because the developers gave them a sneak peek of Planet Coaster 2 😏

What a time to be alive! maskedbandit building in conifer slopes again and is uploading new episodes and then THIS! New Episodes of Pinewood hills! I was 16 years old when the first episode of Pinewood hills was out and now im 23 and still it feels the same! Im glad that the series has returned!

He said many go unfinished, so he set up an exception/rule relationship with Koali and unfinished, where the rule is "big projects go unfinished" and the exception is Koali and NNL. "For every NoNameLandia and Koali Beach...there's numerous other projects that don't cross the finish line"

Not at all! I said Koali Beach was one of the few 'big series' parks that actually got done. Not many do, but I'm determined to not make Pinewood one of them :D

I always thought the station building for the story book boats would look really cool if it was a big shoe, like the old woman who lived in a shoe. I like what you decided on in the end. Really nice to see all the Planco vids popping back up. Everyone excited for planco 2. I’ve been back playing it the past week or so too, spent hours making recreations of a bunch of the buildings in Disney Hollywood studios. Would have fit in great to your Studios park. That was still probably my favorite planco build on KZread.

I'm so glad you're back in PlanCo, especially Pinewood Hills, after a long break and you're feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and ready to put on the finishing touches! I deal a lot with anxiety and during your hiatus I often rewatched your old videos, but especially PlanCo and Zoo ones when I was feeling overwhelmed. You have such an eye for detail in games like these and I've always loved the theme of the British budget park. I think the Queen of Hearts is fine at the size she is. It's just part of the jank. Can't afford to make her again so she has to go in the way she is!

I've waited 5 years for this and it was worth the wait! Glad to see you back in Pinewood / Planco!

This is crazy. Ive recently got back in Planet Coaster and was thinking about this park. I must have watched some episodes 4/5 times. Only while watching this and hearing you say a lot has changed in real life, youre not wrong. My life too is completely different. I cant wait for the next episode. Im so stoked on this.

You could place a manor on the camp area as looks like it would fit well, and just have the house within the camp area with out gardens , the gardens are now the camp Site and the house can be camp reception

Great to see back making videos, Pinewood hills really could be a park in the UK, sits in with Alton, Flamingo land and the Late Loudoun Castle Forgot all about the stoned humpty dumpty The chair lift going over back stage is very Alton Towers the Sky ride going over the storage area for scarefest up by Rit and Thirteen for a lore base the boomerang would have been bought from for another park like what happened to the black hole and Alton Mouse Great to have you back

I've been playing PlanCo again lately, as well. It's like, now my BG3 multipts are done, going back to older games (especially with a new internal SSD, these games run so much more quickly now). Have also been mainlining the Defunctland docos lately, so they gave me an itch I needed to scratch. So glad to see this! I know the YT algorithm can be a beach, so many creators have to "keep up", so to speak, but I'd so like it if creators felt more free to "do as they will"--if nothing else, it'd help the burnout issue. Love to see this again!

You're back! anyway you could call the not-pirate ship a captain's wheel or first mate's helm or something? When you think about it the main difference between pirate and adventure theming is ship lap, buoys, netting, and barrels and all of those are cheap.

Might be worth looking at Drayton Manor for inspiration for some jank 😀 Remember The wild west style area where Shockwave sat? Pretty sure it's still limping along with that large wooden structure over the rapids! Totally ripped out the smaller coaster now though. Anyway.... regarding the netting - the buffalo coaster there went out over the lake and did a helix. No netting and only lap restraints. Grew up not far from you btw (Wyrley) - but nope, don't remember that restaurant. Hope you're doing well anyways. Enjoying the channel

God I’ve missed pinewood, love the new station building for the boat ride, fits so much better than what was there before. As for the kids coaster you don’t really need netting, however the footers for the coaster in that area need to be above the water line or else the supports would rust. Can’t wait to see what you do next!

5 years.? Man I'm getting old. I started putting some interiors together depicting visual dad jokes as dark ride pass through themes. I used tips from creators such as Jonti to turn things like emergency beacons turned upside down then painted brown to make pint pots etc.

The youtube algorithm is absolutely insane, suggesting the next episode of a series that’s been dormant for 5 years lmao

OMG ITS BACK YESS

This is all just trippy to see. Episode after episode... then "I have an idea, I want to make a jank British park". Then weeks of content... then it finally happened, the start of Pinewood. It felt like years of Pinewood mixed with the other games. The idea that the last episode was 5 years ago... I was trying to figure out what happened. Was Planet Zoo out coming out and so that was being worked on instead? I remember that fizzled pretty quick and it became "well, at least Animal Crossing is coming out in a month or two". Lockdowns. "Maybe I can 3D print Sherb... I need to learn modeling... may as well practice panting... been visiting the local hobby shop..." So much has happened. It makes all the streams I watch now look like a speck in time compared to everything here. I still need to catch up on everything you've put out since, but it will be quite a moment when Pinewood is finished.
