The Beginning of Anxiety After Cancer Treatment - My First Panic Attack

I made it through a year of treatment for Colorectal Cancer and never had any mental health issues at all. Then 2 years after treatment ended I had my first ever panic attack. I talk about what it was like having a panic attack on an airplane, then how I prepared to hop back on a plane a day later in hopes that another attack wouldn’t happen.

Thank you for sharing this experience Jelena, the more I watch your videos, the more I understand about the complexities a cancer diagnosis and treatment causes. Mental health is becoming more and more focused (especially in the work place), which is great, and it's yet another topic we all need to spend more time understanding and reflecting upon, to better make progress with supporting each other through it.

We’re getting a little more comfortable talking about it, but there is still a lot of progress to go.
