@@Johnlindsey289 In generel: it´s OK.But: the Gelfling´s faces don´t look as realistic as in the original 1982- by far not. 2. There are some "timetabel"-errors in Thra´s history comparing with the original.

@@mathiaskrauss1184 I think the prequel series surpasses the movie as it gives us world building and respects the lore of the movie. Plus the origin of the Garthim even how Skektek got his eye, how gelflings were drained, how Aughra was protector of Thra, war of Skeksis and Gelflings and all

@@Johnlindsey289 There are timetable errors. For example in the Netflix series the Garthim were created really late ( only 1 or 2 generations before the end of Skeksis´rule), and were made somehow from some dead of the spider-like ones. But accordind to movie ( plus Book "the World of DC") the Garthim were definitely created rather early (about 300 years after Skeksis came; so Garthim war lasted centuries and not only some decades ), and there they really seem to be something completely artificial - no real creature at all-. Or with the essence thing , it´s different too: in Netflix series SkekTek manipulates the crystal to create the evil forces produced by it -- but according to movie/book of course these evil forces were because of the crystal cracked. So, of course , Garthim and essence-draining started about 300 years of skeksis evil rulership....and lasted for centuries, until Gelfling were (nearly) extinct.

This movie actually showed me that nature is much more important than technology- it was a big eyeopener...and still is. Humans should leave the path of the Skeksis really soon!

Have you realized that in fantasy movies/cartoons all beings with light soul live in houses which have round shapes? Yoda´s house at the swamp, hobbits, gelfling, moomin. And we on this "Planet Earth" live in these idiotic 3m tall boxes you cannot even make feel like home. I think humans have flowing energy and reptilians have energy like a box. That's why everything is a box in our world. All the games, videos games (Minecraft), houses, so on. This is not a coincidence.
