Maybe Dust in the Wind by Kansas... allthough that includes maj7 and add9's aswell. But it's on of those songs that lends itself well to explain how to "beautify" simple chords.

I hope this series never ends. I’ve been playing guitar 6 years, barely any theory learnt. I’m learning so much every week with this
2:22 That Cat gave my Exact reaction!! 😂 "Hold on Paul, you're going too fast for me to understand!!" 😆 Thanks for the lesson btw, can't wait for part 5 👍
This series should not be stopped 🥂🥂
It just makes me really happy to finally understand this stuff, creating chords and listening to them in another way. Thanks Paul!
Awesome Paul! I already know all of this but the way you present the information is impressively clear. This series will be a fantastic resource as you build on it. Keep it up!
Man, I've been having a rough week but your videos always bring a smile to my face (even when I don't have time to practice). Seriously, thanks man.
Man why are you so generous with those knowledge? I praise you with all my humbleness. Thank you man !!
My dude, you are absolutely wonderful! I am SOOOO happy I found your channel. This video in particular has helped me understand the guitar SO much better. 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🤯
Thank you so much for doing this series, and it’s very well done. I’m one of those fools that’s been playing self taught for 5 or 6 years and never “bothered” with learning any theory and it’s really started to show recently in how well (or not well actually) I’m progressing, so I’ve started learning as much as I can these last few months. It’s hard to do when channels put out a video at random discussing random aspects. So it’s very cool of you to start a series using short videos covering useful information starting from the basics going forward.
Paul this is amazing. I didn't think of chord structures this way. Thanks a lot. I hope you continue this series. I have learned a lot from you. You are indeed a great teacher.
the beauty of this channel
These videos are so helpful! I’ve been playing for 12 years but never learned even the basics of music theory. Everything makes so much sense when you explain them. I’m extremely excited to watch the rest of the series. I’m assuming that if major scales go with major chords then there must be sus scales and minor scales too. If that’s the case I cannot wait to learn more about them! Thanks for the videos! Keep up the great work.
Paul this series on Music theory of yours is really good!! You are so good at teaching this and its really easy to follow. Honestly I couldn't find any other video/channel on you tube for music theory on guitar which teaches as easily, interestingly and effectively. Thanks!!
I thank you for your take on this. You are a great teacher and i like how clear you made guitar theory to under stand. You literally the glue that is sticking all the theory i read over the years together.
Thank you for making this simple for those of us who are still learning! I’ve tried studying this for months and it never clicked until now.
As someone who taught themselves with only tabs several years ago, this theory series has been amazing! Thank you!

These videos have been really useful. I've been playing guitar by ear for years, memorizing chord shapes etc, without having any understanding of how they work. This is really useful. Thanks Paul!
This video is simply AMAZING. I got to understand things about chords I had been unable to in the past decade! Paul Davids is the best thing that has ever happened to youtube guitar videos.
This comment will disappear into the ether but I stumbled onto your channel a couple weeks ago and it's unreal how much your videos have helped me already. Been playing guitar for a long time and understanding this stuff that has evaded me forever. You make it so simple and even fun to practice. Thank you so much, Paul!

Loving your channel. I've been a modernly experienced guitar player for over 20 years, but your explanations are opening my mind more. Thank you!
This theory series has completely blown my mind and allowed me to get over those first terrifying steps of music theory. Thank you so much for your knowledge and great ways of teaching. 👍🏻
If there were anyone the guitar world was waiting for as teacher it is u, Paul. We are absolutely grateful for your hardwork in putting these zen like videos with such great detail in theory. I wish if all category of chords like dim, aug, the 9ths, the 5ths, 6ths ....be explained this way, no students would ever fumble in finding or forget their chords but infact be able to replicate every chord in all shapes all over the fretboard
A good teacher is essential in learning anything. Wish someone had explained the sus your way, way back while trying to grasp music theory. :( Thank you! you've got the gift!:)
I don't think I have ever felt this enlightened after watching a video. I love how you e,plain things thoroughly, but in a simple and understandable way. Amazing video
Hi, Teacher Davids! I am learning a lot from you. Please don't stop sharing your knowledge because you help people who's so eager to learn but do not have someone to teach them. I am so glad that there's youtube and you are using it to help us(who willing to learn). THANK YOU, SIR! God bless
You're the best Paul. I've improved a lot since I started tracking your videos. I put everything into practice in my church.
Hi Mr Paul, i have been playing guitar for two years already and i never took the time for theory. I decided to change that this year and your series just fall at the right moment. Thanks for the knowledge, this is very clear and well shown. I love also all your videos and your channel it's like a realm of peace. Have a good one Love send from France 😊

An elegant and efficient presentation of a simple but profound aspect of theory. I never really understood this before. Got it. Thank You!
I’ve been having some doubts for a long time and now everything makes sense! Thank you so much for making these vids. Love the way you explain boss.
This is the best music education I will ever get and it makes so much sense! I am a recreational player who practices guitar every day and I am very good at naturally picking up songs fast. I always feel sad that I never went to music school so its impossible for me to ever understand people with music education. This is a good step. Please make more such videos. I really appreciate it.

awesome video! Paul never fails to make music theory simple yet interesting to learn enough and experiment with the rest.
Your method of Teaching - with occasional Diagrams, is the most effective (for me personally) that I have found on You Tube. This is awesome. I actually Understand Music Theory now. Thanks for all-you-do. oNe LovE from NYC

Ooooooooooooh! Yeah, I totally get it now! I feel so smart right now 🤘🏻 Thank you for making me feel like a wizkid, great video's.
I’ve been playing guitar for years and never dug into theory. I would start and quit shortly after because it becomes overwhelming. But you sir allow it to make so much sense. I’m mind blown. Thank you. I’m watching all of the videos
You are an amazing person Paul, don’t ever stop doing what you’re doing!
Asus2 is one of my favorite chords. That voicing at the fifth fret sounds awesome but that grip! "Maybe a little hard"... for sure.
I've been watching all of your videos and I'm having a hard time coming up with things to criticize you on =/ You are, quite literally, an example and a good role model to look up to on this platform. Thank you for what you do.
These videos are awesome man. I've only been playing for about 2 and a half years or so (and rather infrequently at that), and whenever I tried to get into the theory side of things I always found myself getting lost very quickly. But somehow you tell it all in a way I completely understand so, just wanted to say thank you for making these.
Thank you so much Paul!! your concepts are so well explained, really precise and organized, it's solid! you are a great teacher!

I watched many music theory tutorial, but this is different from other because it makes me comfortable to learn. its easy to learn when you are the one discussing. so now all the lesson that I learned, I feel its all connected! you did a great job Amigos
I had a great guitar teacher for a few years. At no point did he ever explain this quite so perfectly as you have managed. You’ve now finally helped me understand how to navigate those patterns. Amazing channel, Paul.

Great video Paul! Wouldn’t it be cool if you also described how an Esus4 is equivalent to Asus2, etc? Just a thought... Btw, some of your diagrams feature different fingerings than the ones you are using.
I just wanted to say that you're easily the best teacher on KZread (and in general) that I have come across and I think that I can speak for everyone watching your channel! I was watching this video late at night in bed with no guitar in hand and you still managed to open my eyes and teach me something that I did not know. Its 2am now, and because of you, my friend, the first thing in the morning I will rock out some Sus chords as now I have an understanding of them! :D Thank you so much, Paul! Keep up the great content and you too have a nice day! :)
Played guitar for close to 30 years. And learned by ear. Wish i had this lesson when i was young. Your lessons are great since you explain simple and with practical examples. Probably the best basic guitar lessons ive seen on youtube 👍🏻

your understanding of how to structure and present information in a deep but understandable way is quite impressive. the information itself is fantastic too. i assume you put a lot of time into pre-production, placing yourself in the mind of the viewer. impressive, you have a great channel.

I've been playing guitar for over 10 years now, I wish I could start all over again. Those past 4 videos have made me a much better guitarist, I've done so many things wrong for so long, not understanding why they sounded that way, but just knew, now I can better explain what I'm playing and I know why it sounds the way it does. Awesome lessons Paul, keep em' coming!

One of the best videos on the music theory I could find. Thank you for your dedication!
wow, this is all making so much sense! i played guitar for a bit back when i was in high school, and i had an instructor, but i dont remember actually understanding any of this stuff - only following directions. i picked up the guitar again a month ago and i am finding it so interesting to delve into the theory and really understand how things work.
You probably have the best visuals for guitar lessons on KZread. It really helps channel your teachings.
Sus? Amogus?
Paul, I really really love your videos, man. You've made me so interested in Music Theory, thank you, I'm forever in your debt!
it's amazing how I've been playing all these chords for ages without realizing this. so much just clicked! really feel like a lot of doors just opened. :) great tutorial and best guitar teacher out there in my opinion!

So many mind blowing moments with this series Paul! It all is starting to make sense just now, and I am playing the guitar on and off for 19 years haha... I never got into it that deep but your videos inspired me to do it and start learning some theory! Thanks a lot and greetings from your country neighbor :D
Been trying to learn guitar for too many years, my mind is blown by this series, awesome
Thanks a lot man! This series cleared a lot of things. But I'll say that these videos are great for someone who has worked with these concepts a bit beforehand.
Great lesson. Your approach to explaining these chords helped me to finally understand how the chords are derived. Thanks!
