I thought I'd cry at the booth scene but I actually cried more when I saw the mother-son reunion. The way she leaned lovingly over him... Oh, man, my eyes are soaking in tears.

The photography of this movie is so beautiful, every scene looks like a painting

This is the most beautiful movie I have ever seen. Every frame is a literal painting.
My all time favourite movie. Cannot recommend it enough. I remember the first time I watched it like it was yesterday. No film has ever left an impression on me like this one. I had no idea where it was going in the first half an hour of the movie but, by the end, my jaw was on the floor. Stunning, beautiful movie.

Agreed. The tracking shot is amazing.
3:17 I never tire of saying it. The mirror scene is one of the best scenes of all time. I would dare to say that it is the best scene I have seen in a movie
The work on photography and lighting in this movie, IMO, is magnificent, one of the best ones if not the best I've ever seen.
Long live independent cinema, i love your edit 😉
I've been waiting for this one! This film is a masterpiece!
No Country for Paris Texas
Imagery as a storyline. Colors as emotions. Brilliant.
I'd heard a lot about this movie, people saying how sad and emotionally strong it is. I can confirm the huge feeling that evokes. I've been feeling quite likely to cry the whole day
This movie is truly a masterpiece! And every frame is a god damn ART.
I'm on the spectrum and have ADHD and this movie is like therapy for me. I usually can't watch anything without simultaneously doing something on my phone or thinking of something else, not able to concentrate. This is the first movie that has me so captivated and glued to the screen with my thoughts only on what's happening in this special little world of solitude. It takes its time with each moment but never ever gets boring and that's a testament to everyone's talent that was involved in the making. Of course Harry Dean Stanton is a big reason why this is masterpiece too. I can't put into words how much it means to me and how perfect of a movie this really is. I could speak a thousand words on why it's so beautiful but I try to live more like Travis and let that beauty speak for itself. I don't think I have to use many words because everyone who loves this movie too can understand what I'm feeling. I'm German so it's extra awesome that my favorite movie ever is made by a German director :)

The beauty of Spiderman trilogy! I've been waiting like 4 months
This movie is inter-temporal. It does not matter the grainy looks, but the authenticity of the character drifting into unmarked space, bordered by nostalgia and sadness, in pursuit of his own self.
RIP Dean Stockwell...
Loved the use of Red, like a do not cross line everytime appear or something bad it's happening
I wish they still made movies like this one..
every shot feels like a painting.
My favorite film of all time
RIP both Harry Dean Stanton and Sam Shephard.
This should just be the entire movie .
Now i can say with all security that this is a masterpiece
This would belong in the Louvre if it could accept movies. Gorgeous cinematography! Definitely a moving painting

Your channel reminds me of the other channel called "Other Places" which is using atmospheric imagery and soundtracks in his videos based on various video games in a similar way. I like your work and i recommend you to do a video on a series called "The Terror", because it is full of arctic tundras, polar landscapes and has a good soundtrack, which would perfectly fit in your collection.
