The Beauty of Emptiness - Outback Flying - William Creek - Lake Eyre - Painted Hills

Join me for the ultimate outback flying experience as I take off with WrightsAir from William Creek airport. We’ll be flying over the massive Anna Creek Station - the largest cattle station in Australia and one of the largest cattle stations in the world. This is seriously one massive farm!
Our William Creek Wrightsair scenic flight takes us over Lake Eyre, the largest salt lake in Australia. The views of the Lake Eyre Kati Thanda National Park are stunning. Lake Eyre made world headlines when it was the site of Donald Campbell’s land speed record attempt in 1964. Flying across Lake Eyre’s salt flats Campbell broke the world land speed record with a speed of 403miles per hour (648km per hour).
From Lake Eyre we fly to the Painted Hills - the scenic jewel within Anna Creek Station. Anna Creek Station is private property but bush pilot and owner of WrightsAir Trevor Wright has special permission to fly over and land within this incredible landscape. So we did and it was an amazing experience.
If you ever have the chance visit William Creek in South Australia. And when you do make sure you take to the skies on a Wrightsair Scenic Flight from William Creek Airport. My strong recommendation is the flight combining Lake Eyre and the Painted Hills with the landing and walk through this incredible pristine outback environment.

I’ve lived in Australia for almost 34 years , the scale , diversity and contrasts are without equal and amaze me . Everyone who has a chance should make it a mission to visit once in their lives and experience the beauty of this vast land . Thanks for sharing Dennis .

Ive been loving these types of videos, in particular the Road Trip to Nowhere and the Ghan video. When the world opens up and you start your plane reviews again, I hope you can still throw in a vid like this every once in a while, theyre absolutely brilliant. Or even more Business Trip videos, those are also very good

Hi Dennis I was watching a VLOG (about A380's) by Jeb Brooks and noticed you had left a pleasant comment about how you've missed the flying (obviously because of the pandemic) and left nice complement about his VLOG, may I say that your VLOGs are very good also and I look forward to you international travel blogs

Another video showing that the brown and dusty bits of Australia can be every bit as beautiful and interesting as the green and lush bits. I'm guessing that sun-glasses really heighten the colour-contrast of the landscape.

Australia shouldnt have water problems. No one should be living on 170 Litres per day told by the Australian Government. Problem with water in Australia Government wont do anything about it bottom Line yet in big rain events all this water going to waste. Australia shouldnt have water problems.
