Err....this is NOT Floor, but the outrageously wonderful queen of metal and band co-founder, Tarja Turunen, who appears on 5 of the band's 9 albums. Next came singer Anette Olzon (2 albums), then Floor (2 albums). Amazing how so many people assume that the band didn't begin until Floor joined in 2013, whereas the band has been around since 1996 and the majority of the songs Floor is singing in videos are actually "cover tunes" that were written for Tarja's operatic voice. Tarja has been a highly successful solo artist since leaving the band and is now working on her 15th or 16th album (both studio and live albums). BTW, you'll be gobsmacked if you listen to the Nightwish version of "Phantom Of The Opera" with Tarja and Marco again - spine-tingling and jaw-dropping - one of those" bucket list" videos (same concert as this video). Have great fun delving into the past!

Six months ago, I wouldn't have suggested this song for you, Maria. It has been a joy watching your knowledge and appreciation of metal grow. The part of this song, where you were talking about how Marko sounds like the perfect villain is my favorite part. First, there is that awesome growl and Marko's eyes almost roll back into his head. Then, the scream that in the same breath turns into a clean belt gets me every time. There is just so much talent in this band that, sometimes, it just doesn't seem fair.

This was Tarja on vocals with Marko and this era of NW helped define the genre!! That is why for me the Tarja era is my favorite. Tuomas wrote songs about fantasy and long lost loves, about longing and desire to be loved. When these two sing together the world is magical

I agree with you.

I love Tarja's voice and was very sorry when she left Nightwish. Marko and Tarja were the perfect vocal pair.

You want marko as a villian. Check out phantom of the opera from ths concert....
