The Dominican Republic is known to have the most diverse topography for a single nation in the Caribbean region. You can go from a sandy beach to a cool, mountainous town 500 meters above sea level in less than three hours. The country’s coastline is over 1,600 kilometers in total, with hundreds of accessible, breathtaking beaches. More surprisingly, DR is surrounded by a series of grand mountain ranges, the most important of which is the Cordillera Central, which is home to the Caribbean’s highest peak - Pico Duarte, sitting at 3,087 meters.

Awesome video I am half Dominican 💙✊🏼 , Half Italiano , I was born in Chicago Illinois , United States , I have family brothers sisters cousins aunts uncles and my grandma in Puerto plata I have a big family over there and I went a lot as a child I was 13 years old last time I was there and I am 25 , SO THERE IS NO WILDCATS IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC? NO LEOPARDS ? Or panthers or jaguars any big cats ??
