Hi, I'm Mr.T - "Educated Traveler". I focus on educating people about various topics related to travel, living abroad, and different cultures. I do this both by presenting my own experiences as well as by interviewing other travelers and expats.
Also please subscribe "Educated Traveler" on the platform www.bitchute.com/educatedtraveler
where you'll find more hard-hitting videos, as they still allow freedom of speech & expression!
Playlists: My channel has 3 playlists, which can be distinguished by the icon seen in the "top right-hand corner", If you see a number, then it's another full-length travel documentary in the playlist called "Dominican Republic", and if you see a camera icon, then it's from the playlist called "Interesting moments caught on camera", and finally, if you find a rifle thumbnail, then it's from the playlist "Wake up and Retaliate".

Amazing video thank you I was looking to secure health insurance as I frequent Dominican Republic often
Just beautiful thank you so much for sharing!!!!😻
Is it a buyer or a sellers market
Hi there! It's a mix, as properties owned down here were usually paid in cash by someone who sunk their life savings into that property, so folks here are determined to get at least what they think it's worth, and some want more due to inflation and most know the comparable cost of constructing something from scratch (which is now at least double compared to pre con-vid-19. Sometimes there are bargains, if someone is motivated to "get out", yet I don't hear of that very often. I hope that helps - Brgds, Mr. T
Do you think people are going to stop coming there over all? Or do you think more ppl are going to come there? Also are the real estate prices in general going down or up in your perspective. As of today it seems like inventory is not moving as it did when interest was lower

Humans are extremely evil. I can bet God is still regretting why He created us humans. Why slaughter those chickens and sell before their own observation?😢
Boiling water, add salt, chicken soup cups😅
On death row😂😂😂😂😂

Great video Does DR take USA Medicare
Many thanks for watching and commenting!:-) To answer your question: Your U.S. health insurance won't work in the Dominican Republic. U.S. medical insurance plans seldom cover health costs incurred outside the United States unless supplemental coverage is purchased. Further, U.S. Medicare and Medicaid programs do not provide payment for medical services outside the United States. However, many travel agents and private companies offer insurance plans that will cover health care expenses incurred overseas, including emergency services such as medical evacuations.
Thank you!
You're welcome :-)
Great video Mr. T appreciate the info
Thank you for your kind comment. :-)
This video was amazing very well done ✅
Many thanks for watching and commenting! :-)
So the dude with the pirate ball cap who claims he’s “unwanted” in his country (the U.S) because he’s a “straight white male”. So he’s a r@cist & a homophobe I take?
Chem trails
Great video, lots of information and advice too. I like your attitude and honest opinion. Thank you
Glad it was helpful! Many thanks for watching and commenting!:-)
Damn you hit it right on the money!!! im not dominican but my husband is! hilarious but true all the way! thank you for all your videos!
Thank you for watching and commenting! :-) Cheers!
And here's what this Gringo hate when I come to Sosua. Stop comparing prices to what we pay in the states. You are not charging Dominicans 1000 pesos for haircuts!
Very interesting and informative
Glad you think so!

Excellent advice! Thanks for making the video. I agree with the American that not having that jab is a legitimate quality to look for, I also am pure blood and gave up on that criteria but he gave me hope to keep it. Very hard to find especially there from what I've seen using Tinder's Passport feature, many people their gave in, not sure if the had much of a choice however. The Dominican culture is to move relationships pretty fast but look out for love bombing and insinuating that they need financial help, too early. Their troubles should be kept out of the dating relationship out of respect early on. You are viewed as the ticket so don't be surprised but also, don't be so "tacao" stingy lol. Understand that you're dealing with a third world country and money and jobs are somewhat difficult to obtain. :) Looking for my Dominican wife as we speak. Happy hunting, best of luck, gente hermosa!
Many thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers! :-)
Hats off!! To the young man who spoke about respect for women. ❤ and as always Mr.T thank you for a great video
Thanks, Australia for commenting and watching! Brgds, Mr.T :)
That question could be answered with one sentence. For Dominicans, Gringos are walking ATM machines.
Nice content...thanks for sharing. Here's another active😊 subscription !
Thanks Joselito! Saludos, Mr.T :)
100 % More safer when iam in sosua. Then NYC!
The people of the DR are wonderful! I respect them and I’m thankful for their hospitality.
The thing is Americans are delusional they think it's not safe because they have this mentality oh it's a third world country it's undeveloped that's just how Americans are they think that the whole country has to look like Beverly hills Hollywood Boca Raton that's their mentality
Good going Mr t. Another great video 👌👌👌
Many many thanks, Dee!:-)
Yo Deivi , I drive better than you 😂 and I play basketball better than you 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾😎
Thanks for watching! Brgds, Mr.T
@@EducatedTraveler yea Deivi a good friend of mine , over 10 plus years 🙏🏽😀
I love your videos. They are so informative and very helpful. I visit family in Puerto plata every January. I love the DR and the natives. The only problem I have is the driving! If you could just do something about the drivers! I was told NOT to rent a car because if you get into an accident even if it's not your fault all they want is to get paid. It's unfortunate. Because the DR, weather, people and food are amazing and so beautiful.
Thanks Joe, and for staying tuned! Yes, if it's not a big bother during visits to simply use "Hired transportation" then for sure this is one way to remove the fault from you during a potential accident. But when you live here, then you need to go where you want, when you want, and having your own wheels become a must. We get better and better with time at reading the stupidity, habits etc... of drivers here (so much about preventing situations) and as our Spanish gets better, this too helps us in situations where someone does try to pull a swifty on us. Enjoy your future trips! Brgds, Mr.T :)
Daniella didn’t understand the question 😂 why she do the Bronx like that😂😂😂
Yes she did actually say that when they come down here, some treat her in a bad way (probably try to "buy her services" for services she doesn't offer) yet some dudes tar every girl here with the same brush, that's her beef with such dudes.
Hmm. That’s how it is with Puerto Ricans, Cubans, Mexicans, etc in the US. They bring their music, their food, their flags, etc and live like they did when in their country.
You've got a good point, and I don't try to become part of the culture, but rather just try to respect it, like I like when they respect mine. I like Rock, Blues, and more, yet after 16+ years, I still can't stand listening to too many "tipica" songs in a row, so that leaves me to either tolerate it, or leave that place with the ear-piercing music to another much more tranquillo hang-out, and there's plenty of options. Thanks for watching and commenting! Brgds, Mr.T
So do Italians, Greeks,Irish, French, Canadians. What's your point?
Iv been here for 21 nights the beach in sosua is much nicer than cabarete but the town is a much slower pace than sosua town i found the prices for rent a bit high in cabarete for long term rental.
