It is a great song. But George did need a lot of help with it. Thankfully he didn't go with "cauliflower" because "no other lover" just seems more proper. George did have a great voice and he wrote some great songs but I can only imagine what it must have been like being in a band with Lennon/McCartney as the main writers.

This video is actually pretty sad when you come to realise that at the point of filming this, the Beatles had grown so far apart that they decided to film their own parts at their own homes rather than come together and record it as a group. The video was also shot when McCartney fell into a deep depression over realising that the Beatles were over, and you can really see it in his untidy appearence

George Harrison, the most underated beatle. In my opinion!
In the earliest days of The Beatles, George was in the background.IMO,he is the Beatle with the most talent and the most soul,so to speak.
The legacy of The Beatles still going on strong after 60 years... I am overwhelmed, broken, touched and can't stop crying... this is a very heartfelt moment for me... words can't express my joy, satisfaction, gratitude, and nostalgia... I am absolutely devastated and blown away... All because of you... And you will know for sure... That I love you... I feel like I am in a sublime divine spiritual realm and God has accepted me in paradise... and I get to spend my remaining days with John Lennon and George Harrison... I have finally achieved redemption and nirvana... they sang their hearts and souls out... my soul is cleansed, my heart broken and my scale of fulfillment and satisfaction goes beyond the clouds... beyond unfathomable heights... I feel complete, calm, peaceful and devoid of any burdens and desires... I am so proud to be a Beatles fan... Have always loved you lads... and always will... Amen...

Not to take away from your joke, but George wanted to call it Something in the Way She Moves, but James Taylor (who they signed to the Apple label) already had that song title.
When you look at George Harrison from his earliest days, through his years with the Beatles, you see his transformation and his maturation. His soul's journey seems to be on display. A wonderful man.

We can see the transformation and maturation of the Beatles and the 1960s as a whole, not just George. He failed to criticize unfairly that he had "no room" while just at the end of the Beatles he took off as a composer (and even his November 1970 triple album includes 4 or 5 tracks on each side and a long and uninteresting jam on the last side). The others always made him stand out when he came up with the right songs and he owes a lot to the Beatles. George was rather stingy and self-effacing, unlike his wonderful companions. But I really like your songs.

it's crazy that he would've been around 25/26 when he wrote this song such talent
Second grade, Manville, NJ, every morning on the way to school. Even at that age, blown away by the simplicity and beauty of the lyrics, melody, Mr. Harrison'd voice, and the instrumental interlude of "Something".
I love everything about this song, a timeless masterpiece.
