The Beatles - Roundup Interview (1964) [REUPLOAD]

Only some silent clips survived from the TV show ‘Roundup’ which was originally transmitted by Scottish Television on 5 May 1964. The footage shows The Beatles inside the STV studios in Glasgow, gathered around a microphone. John and Paul occupy the seats, while George and Ringo stand behind them. Ringo is slowly sneaking away from the camera. Some nice close-up shots show John and Paul in conversation with the blonde Morag Hood. The camera then captures George and Ringo sitting on the floor and being interviewed by Paul Young.

Whenever I need to laugh and smile, I watch a Bealtes interview. Its guaranteed to rise a smile… ;) This is one of my favorites, never fails to make me laugh. Especially George at 2:08

Their scouse accent was very weak, even way back then. That’s an accent I feel has gotten stronger over the years. Listen to some interviews with Paddy Pimblett and Meatball Molly if you don’t believe me. I can at least understand the Beatles when they talk

I think back then the "scousers" accent wasn't as thick as today, if you hear pete best, cilla black or even gerry mardsen talk, they speak in the same/similar accent with the beatles here
