I also don't mean to hate on Claire because she's so sweet and so kind and so pretty, yet every time she's on screen i'm like 'ugh, not her again!' lol

I feel like the thing with Claire that (mostly) everyone seems to dislike is not really even about the character, but more like how the actress is portraying her. I’m not sure I can articulate this well, but it’s a bit unsettling how she speaks so low (always basically whispering) for seemingly no reason, the pauses she takes in her sentences are also… weird… like, she makes pauses in her speech in points you wouldn’t expect them and it makes her come off as untrustworthy/strange. Also, how she looks at people always with a smirk/weird little smile, and it comes off as unsettling. So I don’t actually think it’s Claire the character as much as it’s the specific choices the actress is making when playing her. I truly believe that if it was someone else playing her, someone that could pull off a sweeter, more gentle persona, we wouldn’t all collectively dislike her as much. And this is no shade or hate to the actress because I actually like her very much, I just dislike how she’s choosing to play Claire on this show. It’s coming off way more off putting than intended, I believe.
