It's basically impossible to be trapped in a walk in because of the latch. The handles have a simple push rod inside that will unlatch it no matter the condition of the exterior handle. The way they're made they require the unlatching mechanism in order to latch..A dumb trope of movies and TV. The handles are also part of regular health dept inspection.

@@Oneryeone People do not die in walk ins every year. There was a report that attributed an avg of 60 deaths a year to walk in freezers but this was debunked as misrepresenting the data. The statistic included all temp related deaths for all food service industries. 59 of the 60 avg were heat related. The avg of 1 cold related death included industrial freezers like you would find in Dist. Centers, Airports, Convention Centers, large hotels, etc, that have motorized overhead doors and aren't considered walk ins, and they rely on an electronic emergency exit button not a mechanical latch. There have only been a few deaths in walk ins the last decade and they were attributed to other factors than the latch, like the door becoming blocked from the exterior side. A death at an Arbys was because the employees had jambed a screwdriver in the latch after the handle broke and this prevented the interior release from working.

I hate how this show just beats Carmy into the ground, he has to deal with so much shit and then the show just spits in his face making him the problem when he's realistically the victim. Half of the time his own sister hates him, for no reason. A simple miscommunication makes Richie attack him and he ruined the only positive thing in his life because he thought he was talking to Tina. Like wtf. No wonder he thinks he should die, the show clearly wants him to off himself.

She will almost certainly win the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series this fall, but we won't actually see her get the award during the main ceremony, because that category is presented during the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which take place a week before the main ceremony. All the Emmys they just won back in January were for the first season. I'm guessing Ayo Edebiri (Sydney) will be elevated to the Lead Actress category for S2 awards consideration (she won for Supporting Actress for S1).
